  1. Dack is a much more attacking player that both you mentioned, where pace is more important at the highest level. I have seen both JRC and Buckley play wide and they looked pacy enough imo.
  2. I think he can be. He isn't fast but he sure isn't slow.. Rothwell is world class at dribbling, just a pity he shoots like a 12 year old girl most times. But his passing has improved.
  3. I think the game has moved on even from then. Remember us completely outplaying Chelsea when he scored a great overhead goal. Pace is important in all attacking players especially in the premier League.
  4. Nope, he was the fulcrum. Holding the ball up doing the hard yards, and even hitting the post for Dolan to benefit that put us on the road for a fine victory.
  5. Yes, Dack lacks the pace needed in the premier league. I'd like to see him come on first as sub for Armstrong. With Dolan and BB doing the running either side.
  6. Are you insane? His skill and work ethic are a massive part of our success this season. But hey, he and Dolan didn't play so great against a team set on defending and you turn on him at the first opportunity; sad indeed.
  7. BB is fantastic in full flight, holds the ball up well (needed when our main striker is so small) and BB does a massive amount of defending. Agree Gallagher isn't suited to playing wide though. I'd just put him on in the last 20 mins of games, if we are ahead, for his defensive heading ability.
  8. In fairness, it was BB's excellent work Dolan benefited from.
  9. Hopefully he has a testimonial here after his successful Premier league career. ?
  10. He has the hold up quality to play centre forward. The best we have I'd say. So long as he has pace around him he'll be great.
  11. 100 percent. We are well stocked in midfield. And the likes of a holding player like Evans frees Rothwell to surge forward. Whiteman is a box to box player from what I've seen. Manning though would've been good as he can cover both positions.
  12. Don't know that much about Whiteman, but do know Evans is an international, been involved in past premier league promotion, and was a big part of our 6 wins out of 7 last year.
  13. BB is better than Reed imo, and a good bit less expensive.
  14. Ha ha! This one is better. Handy they have circled him in the first Clip! Lol!
  15. Well I watched it, as that is my country. N Ireland are far from shit; we play decent football like Rovers. Norway looked absolutely brilliant on the day. They have a forward who must be one of the best in the world. I thought the left back looked pretty good that day. Bell was very good yesterday indeed. His pace is very handy.
  16. Decent enough performance. Buckley and Chapman did pretty well when they came on. It's the time of game we way have lost in the past indeed. We take the point of and move on.
  17. What, like him clearly the ball off the line in the last game.
  18. Yes, Rothwell excelled with too more holding players beside him. ?
  19. Ha ha! Yes, I'd say so? We could possibly still win too when down to 21 men. ?
  20. Bell has played well last two games. Remember him heading clear against Wycombe when Williams mistimed a header. But yes, Williams and Bell are not the long term answer.
  21. I also like the look of young Brennan for a wide role in future. I would keep Rothwell central. Seems to work well with the more anchored Holby and Johnson.
  22. Never been impressed by Davenport, but Buckley has a fantastic talent. Making the most chances of the entire league the other week and then bossing the U23 game with a fantastic array of passing. Buckley will be good cover for Holby imo. Good to see such a fine display in the U23s by Chapman too. And such a great attitude Chapman had when Dolan came off on Saturday's game; was very respectful to the young lad, where many would be spiteful.
