  1. He is one of the best defenders in the league, having had 2 promotions to the premier League and also playing 30+ games almost every season. A class act! ?
  2. I don't think the best strikers in the world score from one chance out of two.
  3. Yes, he has played well in every game I have seen, and the one I haven't. Was decent opposition tonight so hopefully Tony takes note.
  4. Cheers Sir! Ever more impressed with Eastham too. So good with his feet and now great saves! ?
  5. Yes, the chances he has created are fantastic. I'm all for winning 5-3 every game. ?

  7. Yeah, from what I have seen he could be our midfield answer. And cover for left back. And sign another left back also and move Bell on.
  8. Happy days! 2-1 and Thompson the left back scores. ? Hopefully he can step up and get a game for the first team at some point.
  9. Good to hear. I have long rated Thompson and heard Pike had been doing well of late. Mols definitely has talent; remember that overhead kick he as scored from. Good for Harlock, I didn't know anything about him. Cheers for the info sir!
  10. Oh, MccBride now it says. Just watching flash scores. Lol!
  11. Yes I remember seeing an excellent pass from Butterworth and an instinctive finish from Vale in the U23s. Really do see them as better prospects than BB and Gallagher.
  12. Watched some highlights; Manning looks very decent indeed. Could sign him for midfield and still bring in another left back. Be good for balance and versatility in the team.
  13. Of course Davenport hasn't played a massive amount, and nobody can say that for sure. The fact is Evans was part the team that won 6 matches out of 7 last season. Evans is a poor man's David Batty; nothing fancy but effective. I wouldn't be surprised to see Stoke make a bid for him.
  14. Had internet issues so the first half of that game is what I missed. But he is never going to be a big goal scorer. His passing is his forte. But we need a tough tacking son of a b1tch in midfield now that Travis is out, and to me Davenport isn't the answer. I would sure love to be wring though.
  15. Ben Brereton you mean? I saw Holtby score a stunning free kick recently. And any amount of brilliant passes.
  16. Holtby creates a lot, and I haven't seen Holby miss a chance like this, that effectively ended our season: 5 minutes in to the video, right at end of game:
  17. I've seen him play a fair bit in a Rovers shirt, and nearly always poorly. He has done plenty wrong. Even the first game he played the first thing he did was to give the ball away. Wasn't it him that missed that really easy chance when we could've won an important game at the end of last season. It's you and some others that need to watch more Rovers games.
  18. Are you sure we are talking about the light and ineffectual guy I have seen in every game he played. Apart from a shot hitting him on the line and him clearing it, and putting in a decent corner from which we scored. Caught in possession and gives the ball away almost as much as Williams.
  19. Watched him a lot of times and have never once been impressed. Evans is an international player and part of the side that won 6 out of 7. Saying that I would like to see us sign a tough tacking midfielder, or bring back Tosin to play there when Ayala and Lenihan are both fit.
  20. Davenport would be the one I'd move on. Evans reads the game well and good at tackling. Johnson good at shooting and good in the air. I think Johnson and Gallagher are good to bring on in the last 15 minutes if we are winning to defend against ariel bombardments.
  21. Yes, and our best performance was with him in central midfield. Was also the best physical stats for the team in 3 years according to Tony.
  22. Yes, but third choice now under new manager, and into last year of his contract.
