How small is Lee Johnson?!
smaller than mowbray, who is well handy, judging by his playing days

One thing we're doing superbly is annoying Bristol City. Bits of free-kicks, niggling away at them, and perhaps getting the crowd feeling hard-done and frustrated. Going a goal-up so early on, I thought it was only a matter of time before we might find ourselves behind before the break. Bristol City have had about three great opportunities to level-up, but we're a bit fortunate that they haven't done so.
Other than that, we're doing quite well. Bristol City are clearly targeting Bell, but he's holding up quite well so far. Nyambe is superb at making forward forays. We could have easily had another goal ourselves when Johnson had a clear shot on the edge of the box, but he placed it straight at the keeper. Walton made a sublime save in 8th minute to keep us ahead; I was certain that it was going in.
Brereton is looking pretty much as expected; a bit clumsy on the ball. I suspect we'll see Rothwell come on for him at some point.
Gally needs to be careful now that he's on a yellow. I think he'll get another 15-20 minutes before we see Graham come on.
We'll need to weather a storm for the next 20 minutes or so. If Bristol City get an early goal, I think it's going to be backs to the wall while they search for a winner.
COYB. Let's keep it solid.
if nyambe was relieved of having to get back and defend, which is something he`s never got the hang of,he`d be an absolute monster,he`d be a full backs worst nightmare

if there has been a bust up in the tunnel at least it shows we are up for the battle

im`e not a fan of dropping players who are in form(i.e evans)iv`e played football(admittedly at a shocking level ) and being dropped after playing well just makes you ***** off, imagine how a pro feels about it
-
that left side is frightening, bennet is`nt left footed and bell can`t work out whether he should be defending or going forwards
-
it`s a fragile line up to face a good, strong side on their own turf?

Got to try new things at times though, may not always come off
i can`t rememer tony`s masterstroke tactical changes ever succeeding tbh
-
presumably bennet will be on the left, complete **** because his left foot is only useful for keeping him upright and brereton on the right,i don`t think the lad is much use,but please give a chance to show us he is`nt by playing him in his rightful position,i said this on wednesday, mowbray can`t help himself, not just one or two changes, basically a bloody new team with players out of position
-
brereton and gallagher both start,so 1/1000 that one of them will be on the wing?not sure why the in form evans has been dropped,it should have been travis instead

From some reason posted the graphic rather than the full tweet from Rich Sharpes tweet
TEAM NEWS: From four games unchanged to 6 (SIX) changes for #Rovers Recalls for Bell, Johnson, Holtby, Brereton, Bennett and Gallagher. Formation an educated guess, rather than anything to pin your hat on.
you`ll need a spirograph to work out this formation

WHAT..... WHO FOR WHO .....WHAT THE ACTUAL F@$K I won't put brereton in for the tea lady never mind dack...... holtby is a like for like
the tea lady would probably contribute more as well,i bet she can actually trap a football better than brereton as well

So will some people "take a point" here as well? What use would that be after the draw in midweek? Blackburn Rovers shouldn't be happy taking a point from the city of Bristol which has no footballing prestige attached.
you should forward this to tony, like a rallying cry to attack,he`ll have the lads tighter than a nuns knicker elastic tommorow, especially with dack out
-
our streak might end tommorow but we can look forward to some extremely winnable games over christmas, forest away might give us a few problems, but new years day games are great levellers as both sides will be shattered after 3 games in a week,i`ll be ****** off if we can`t build on some great recent form
