I am seeing on other recent threads an increased amount of criticism being leveled at him, which I believe is mostly unwarranted. Some have even written him off completely here.

Nearly all of them wrote off Brereton as well (check the thread). Tons of other examples. People just like to write off the young lads straight anyway, for some reason.

Players I feel are not up to standard. Kaminski (distribution is woeful) Pickering (too slow) Carter(league 1) Travis(league 1) Gallagher(League 1) Vale(League 1) Rankin Costello(League 1) Edun (League 1). Get rid of that dead wood and upgrade them and see where we are then.

Overreaction here. Kaminski, Tavis and Gallagher are some of the better players in a side that sits sixth in the Championship.

We have our issues but let's not lose our heads completely here.

Can have no complaints today, tactically out mastered by Pearson and Bristol out played us in every department.

    Scoreline flattered us.

I'm still quite concerned about us tactically. We were good mid-week, but today were put right in our place.

I agree. However, considering the turmoil this summer then it's clear we need to what happens in the long term. JDT needs some time. I'd be a liar though if I said that I'm not worried after recent performances.

We're struggling right now, but Travis is our heart so his move to right back is not something i like to see, Markanday has been scoring so where the f--- is he? and Dack looks dangerous but JDT doesn't seem to rate him. No idea why he took him and Hedges off today, we were only one down. Happy Dolan did well, but I'd have replaced him with Wharton who's only 18, after all.

It's either glass half full or glass half empty. Let's wait and see, I guess...

It’s the easy way out. Hit the number, outsource it, tick the box. No ingenuity at all.

It's been the Blackburn Rovers way since 2010. Hard to blame the Venkys though, the local council have been doing it for decades via Capita too.

Whatever profits are made do not get recycled in the local community either, outsourcing is an easy way to provide services, but ultimately there's no upside to any of it.

It's capitalism 2022 though, the modern British way. So, like it lump it basically.

Thinking back about the best players to wear a Rovers shirt in my lifetime, I got it down to four---Douglas, England, Shearer and Tugay. You could probably add  Clayton to that list.

I tried to put them in order but an impossible task. A privilege to see any of them, let alone all 4 at this unfashionable old club of ours.

Friedel is up there with any of them, easy to forget about a goalkeeper but considering we got him on a free, surely he's the best transfer deal we've ever done?
