  1. Pears for a start, spectacular turnaround from him. Brereton you might say, too. Thing they have in common is that they're young, but some do improve over time.
  2. Yep, paid for a full season ticket and all I'm getting is "We're sorry, this content is only available in certain countries". Why? Not like I can access it any other way.
  3. Woodwork saves us for the second game in a row. Swansea header off the bar. We've started very slowly, to say the least, today.
  4. Brereton playing for himself again. Like last year with Rothwell, we should have got whatever we could in the January window. More millions down the drain that we won't be able to use on the squad next season.
  5. Some excellent work from JRC there, it should be noted...
  6. This Birmingham team really are not very good. If ever we're going to finally win a game from behind for the first time in yonks, it's today.
  7. How the hell this lot are in the play off slots going into February I have no idea. JDT's either a magician or the luckiest manager around.
  8. The only time we came back from behind this season was in the cup, when we won 2-1 at Bradford. Not much of a reason for hope and clutching at straws, but to be fair if this was a league game we might as well have thrown in the white towel after four minutes...
  9. I liked him last season. A bit all over the shop, but must be a real handful to play against. Shame we didn't go back in for him again.
  10. Surprised Pears didn't get a game, with it being the cup. He's done alright for us on some occasions. Gets more stick than he deserves.
  11. That should be 1-0 Rovers. Awful miss from about four yards out. I'd snap Villareal's hands off for 8 million...
  12. People on here say time and again that we lack quality and have a weak, unbalanced squad. Yet with that squad, JDT has us sitting in the play offs in the second half of the season. We had a nice little League Cup run including a win away at West Ham. A nice little FA Cup run might be on the cards in the FA Cup too, but whatever...we've already knocked Norwich out at Carrow Road, it's already our best FA Cup run since...is it 2016/17?!? Objectively, JDT has been a real success so far. Nobody was predicting this before the season started, even with a downward slide...it'd still be up toward the higher end of expectations. It's a bizarrely unimpressive wild success under JDT at times, but there we are nestled in the play offs. Subjectively, I've been bored out my mind at times and felt we've been lucky many times. Rotherham and PNE embarrassed us, we didn't lay a glove (again) on our nearest and dearest, it was a walk in the park for Kompany...Not once coming back from behind suggests something worrying about the desire and grit of this team. Not even one single equaliser in the league all season suggests not all is well. Yet we remain in the play offs despite a poor run... It's been a strange old season, hasn't it?
  13. Not sure what we can say about JDT...if, in the summer, anybody had suggested we'd be in the play-offs into the second half of the season then we'd have bitten their hands off. Nobody was predicting that beforehand. Poster after poster state how crappy our squad is, yet JDT has them challenging near the top. Objectively, he's done a great job so far. It's such a shame we also have to see us being trounced by three goals by our two local rivals and then embarrassed 4-0 by Rotherham of all teams. Life as a Rovers fan, eh? This season and last season are the best we've had under the Venky's. Doesn't feel great like it should though, eh? Feels like we lost part of our soul when the Walker Trust sold us.
  14. Great ball from Dack. Gallagher embarrassed himself with that touch...pathetic.
