Appointing him only till the end of the season is a smart move. These sort of appointments normally start well before fading quickly.
Cardiff probably hoping he can gain enough points to avoid relegation and review in the summer.
Not Likely for Cardiff to be in trouble this season. Derby already have their 21 points deduction and Reading are very likely to have 12 points deducted too. Leek eaters are lucky. They have had an awful season so far but may survive anyway due to two other teams having deductions.

I was at the Wembley on Friday. Noticed an England flag with a Rovers logo on it hung up near a corner flag (The one to the right Pickford in the first half). Anyone on here responsible for it? Made a nice change to not see a Dingle one to be honest.

Quite the contrary. I am an adult and swearing is part of life. Even so, I generally keep it to a minimum.
However, I do have a big issue with swearing in the presence of young children. The idea that civilised adults can't moderate themselves in any way (or are unwilling to) to avoid upsetting children is quite sad.
Swearing doesn't bother me. It's just a word. It's the intent that bothers me. You can say something just as hurtful to someone with a non swear word if the intent is aggressive.

I wish that Dolan would stop doing his goal celebration. It is spectacular to witness, but he could end up injuring himself. On Saturday he got it wrong, but luckily there was no bad outcome. In fact he gave a wry smile to the Blackburn end.
Didn't Lomana LuaLua injure himself doing a flip celebration for Portsmouth?
I like to see the athleticism but yeah it isn't worth it if it means it could lead to an injury.

I remember seeing Alex Scott saying “Low Block” while doing punditry and Graham Souness challenged her on it. In the end, after it was explained he said “ahh right, defending deep then…”

Is Tony Parks in Pendle Brook care home on ossy?
Could have sworn it was him the last time I looked up at the window.

Just the extortionate price and the lack of value. I personally wouldnt buy a football shirt unless I was playing 5/6 a side in it, I dont wear them when I go but I get that some like to. But £50+ for a shirt which goes out of date in a year is very expensive.
Yeah fair enough I understand those points. When I think about it like that I wonder why I pay the money but when it gets released I just think “I want it!” And pay for it regardless. Victim of the marketing campaign I guess.
Thanks for your response.

Personally, I have not bought a shirt since I was a teenager, I don't understand logically why adults do to be fair,
Please can you explain your opinion of why you don't understand why adults buy the replica shirts?
Personally, I don't see a problem with it and if I want it, I'll buy it. I'm not going to stop myself from buying and wearing one if it goes against some social norm.
I just like to feel apart of the club and wearing the shirt achieves that for me. I won't be buying the upcoming shirt release however as I think Macron are an awful kit manufacturer.
Looking forward to your opinion though.

I was just trying to be funny based on the spelling mistake, no offence intended. 👍
I got what you were trying to do. Thought it was funny tbh.

As my dad always used to say “I’d rather have points on the board than games in hand.” For the most part I‘ve noticed that tends to be the most beneficial scenario. I think we will be safe and the boring Yorkshire club goes down.

Seen Kazim-Richards say hes well up for the game against Blackburn given how much help a win would do for them. However, I've also seen some cynical Derby fans responding with comments like "You better be ready this time" and "You've said that before"

A game with few chances and action that was decided by a penalty. I don’t like the direction football is going. The penalty that was given was one where the player was playing for it. The ones that weren’t given was where the players weren’t playing for a penalty. Too many penalties been given in football nowadays and the players are playing for the penalties as a tactic to win the game more and more.

A ref being shit doesn’t bother me too much as long as he’s consistent. This one is as consistent as a foster home.

Do I fuck. He's arguably not even the greatest manager we've had under Venkys, which is about as scathing a comment you could possibly make about a football manager.
Was just having a laugh mate.

I don’t think we are in threat of relegation. We are 10 points off the top 6 and everyone is saying the play off is out of the picture and at the same time we are 10 points off the bottom 3 and people are thinking we are relation threatened. Generally speaking the teams at the top win more than the teams at the bottom so I’d say relegation is not on the cards for the rest of the season.

You are dismissive of the whole idea of dismissing Mowbray. You have a cavalier attitude to our losing three on the trot and, according to other posters, have not been playing well for a lot longer. You're quite content for us to be relegated, come the end of the season. You agree that we are playing relegation football, yet are unable to grasp that only a change of manger is capable of turning things around.
Mowbray's said he's aiming for 70 points, whereas 75 points is required, usually, for the playoffs. Mowbray has admitted the playoffs, which was the minimum acceptable standard at the beginning of the season, cannot be achieved under him. We will not end the season in the top 6, under Mowbray. We know that already, yet you're not on board with a change of manager, now.
I don't understand how you can say I'm dismissive of the whole idea of dismissing Mowbray when I said we should get a new manager if we don't make top 6. That's not being dismissive of the whole idea, more of middle point. I don't think we will make the top 6 but I can be proven wrong. I'm not content to be relegated, I just know we won't be relegated this season. We have too many points on the board and we would have to lose every game for the rest of the season. If he got sacked today I wouldn't be upset about it, I'd be more concerned about how these people pulling the strings would recruit the next manager.

Aren't you the one who refuses to accept anyone else's opinion but your own? You want Mowbray to stay til the end of the season. Mowbray's team is playing relegation football not playoff football.
No you’ve either not seen or chosen to ignore my previous posts where I say things like I understand your viewpoint etc. So we’ve lost 3 in a row and are playing like crap. Yeah that is relegation form but we could hit good form again in the next game. Things can change quickly in football. I’m being optimistic but I want want to give him the the end of the season. If we are not in the top 6 at the end of the season I’m completely on board with a managerial change.

How about what we have done for him? He was set for the Chesterfield job before we came in from leftfield and appointed him. He's been living the dream ever since, dream's over now it's time to go.
Yeah your entitled to look at it from that viewpoint. I don’t personally but that’s the whole point of this message board. Having healthy discussions about the club. Be boring if everyone had the same opinions and fell in line to the ones who deem themselves to be superior and can’t accept any opinion than their own.

I didn't highlight it as I wasn't responding to anything you said about people belittling other posters.
You made a point in your post which was clearly untrue and I was just pointing this out.
Well it’s not a coincidence that you were trying to be belittling in that comment.

This happens with a few clubs. Preston and Bolton to name a couple. They treat their games against Rovers like a cup final and to Rovers fans they are just another English team. Our rival is Burnley, end of. They need to realize that and end their obsession with us.
