I have just been told that Luton will be playing away games until some time in September to give them time to get their ground ready. This was an agreement made last week after a ground inspection.

Im surprised they haven't thought of a temporary ground share with Milton Keynes. It's not far up the road and has twice the capacity of the dump Kenilworth Rd is. Or is that against the rules?

But preferably not FF Trelleborg, please?!😉 That journey's etched on my soul!!

If we have a Scottish training camp pre-season like we did before the season just ended, maybe we could fix up some Scottish Premiership/League One opposition different from the teams we've played since about 2018. (NOT Queen's Park, for Historic reasons, though!)

I agree... One trip to Trelleborg is enough.

I was just thinking selfishly as I live in Sweden and I doubt rovers will come here. But for those rovers fans who would want to travel it's such an easy trip. EasyJet fly from Manchester to Copenhagen most days and booked in advance it's not to expensive ( summer time maybe so).

Jump on the train at Copenhagen Airport... 30 minutes into malmo. 2 hours appx to halmstad.. And then an additional 90 minutes up to gothenburg. All on the same train line.

If we still have jdt pre season... And considering his connection to Swedish football I thought it could be possible.

That said, our close season is bang in the middle of the Swedish football season as the poofs don't like to play in the cold and snow!!!!!!

There is also Helsingborg from the Swedish 2nd division bit of a famous club here and Varberg ( Swedish Premier) also on the same train line. All between malmo and gothenburg. Easy easy.

Agree, there are a lot of wrongs to right tomorrow night.

Genuinely think we'll turn them over.

If Garrett or Travis can smash one of theirs late on (ideally that finger-pointing lad, or the Fatboy up front) and then celebrate with a nice little taunt in their direction, that would go some way to repair the damage from the first game.

I agree as long as we keep 11 players on the pitch.

  4. Another poster mentioned earlier in this thread about the tippy tappy shite build up shite towards the end of games wasting time. Which I agree with.

But how much time are we wasting during the early and middle sections of the game doing exactly the same shit.

The first 20 minutes of tonight's game were mind numbingly boring with the tippy tappy, mamby pamby shite stuff.

We're not just good enough to do it and we lose time trying.

  5. Best player on the pitch tonight was Hulls captain, Coyle.

As for us well... An average side with average players in an average standard league. There's nowt special about the standard of football in the championship.

Im not one to slag off our own players and I'm not going to start now but there were more than half a dozen out there tonight who I hope find other employment for next season.

One of them already has his head at Villareal. If he succeeds there then great. But he won't.
