  1. Does anybody know if the players travelled south to London on the day of the game? They played like they did. Just asking because there was speculation before the team news that Cantwells wife was in labour and therefore was omitted from the team. Then shortly afterwards, another poster said he'd travelled with the rest of the team. Just wondered if that was on Friday or early Saturday.
  2. I haven't seen Southampton, Bristol City or Middlesbrough play yet but I'm convinced that this seasons championship quality is very poor. Charlton were better than our shite but still poor and those that think Birmingham are the second coming should think again. Bang average league this year but we will still do well to stay up. Im not going to rip into some players yet but I'm not convinced that both oashi and morishita should be starting together. Oashi and Gueye for me. Tavares should stick to opening bat and bore the pants off us and Kargbo..... Well... He's an imposter of a footballer. Laughable.
  3. So what! Rise above it. Hardly comparable to the loathsome manure fans.
  4. Nonsense. All because of an abandoned fixture. They may have some numpties posting twaddle on their forum but in general they are a good bunch. Nothing to see here.
  5. It is what it is fellas! Wasting your time bleating about the rights on wrongs on here as nowt will change. How about we turn our sour attitudes into a positive one and beat the tractor boys in the rearranged fixture. Most on here seem to think we will get beat. On what evidence? From my perspective, I've yet to see a stand out team. May be Norwich but they are a one man team in Sergeant. Christ almighty.. Get some perspective and grow up. It is what it is.
  6. Got another goal tonight in a 2-1 win.
  7. It's a She if I can remember rightly.
  8. Brilliant posts by @glen9mullanand @lraC. If what Glen tells us is true, and I've no reason to disbelieve a guy who's put so much effort into finding out the truth about what's going on behind the scenes at Ewood, then I'm on the brink of turning my back on knowing anymore shit about our club. It bloody well hurts. We've gone from wonderland to fucking poundland in 15 years. Gestede had the power to force players and other staff out? Is that within the wankers remit? Even Sheffield Wednesday aren't suffering this sort of shit surely.
  9. Makes his debut tonight.
  10. Good luck to John Buckley. His new clubs average attendance last season was less than 3000 with a season low of less than 700!!! It's going to be a weird experience for Buckley for sure.
  11. Don't worry. You can still watch the game on Rovers TV! Kick off still be shown as 3 pm. Jobsworths.
  12. In a normal world, and i know the world is a bit xxxx right now, the need for any football fan to stay in hotel accommodation for a match is just bonkers. There are exceptions of course for those fans of clubs who live in the far flung quarters of England. Millwall ain't that. For them to travel up to us for a 12.30 KO is just a piss take for those fans. Can't you empathise with those who wouldn't want to pay their hard earned brass on a bloody hotel room rather than travelling to and from South London in one day at their leisure? It's a bloody football match not a long romantic weekend ffs.
  13. If games kicked off at 9am in the future chaddy would lap it up. I'm tiring of his self entitlement and not considering anyone but himself. A staunch fan of Rovers no doubt about that but more than a bit selfish in not seeing a bigger picture. He says that the likes of Millwall supporters have a 4and a half hour journey north to play us at 12. 30pm. Well, that's true but going to an away fixture for me isn't traipsing over 200 miles, going in the ground, watching a game and then fucking off back home pronto. All for 90 minutes on the pitch. A lot more to an away game than that and chaddy knows it. 12.30 kick offs should be fucked off unless it's a potentially naughty derby fixture. Period.
  14. Well, I watched the West Brom game, the Bradford game and today's shit show. I also watched brums first game v Ipswich. Absolutely nothing to look forward to imho and those that think Birmingham are the team of the moment must be watching a different game. All 3 games were lacking quality. Poor fare and brum won't get a play off spot playing like they did today. As for Rovers. It's a gift that keeps on giving. Totally predictable and fecking boring to boot. Im lost for words. Just nothing positive comes out of our club ever. It's depressing witnessing what's going on it really is. Rant over.
  15. Plus he's been slated by Derby fans for his pre season performances.
  16. Rover end is a complete tool. He'd defend the club if we were playing non league on pleasington and season tickets to attend were £1000 a pop. Definitely a plant along with a few others.
  17. Sent you a pm where you can watch the game for free.
  18. I can't remember the year but the Chelsea fans who went into the Blackburn End were sat in the Nuttall st. Stand ( towards the bbe). Ten minutes or so before the end of the game they left and went in through the open gates to the Blackburn End. Simon Garners sister was injured iirc.
  19. Having our back garden looking on to Rossies pitch I have great memories being brought up there mid 60s till 77. Only players I can remember from those days we're Glyn Barker, Billy Greenan (rip), Johnny Pearson and the goalkeeper Woods. Oh! And a player they got from Airdrie called Tommy Veitch or similar. Great days at Dark Lane in those days especially when the drew Shrewsbury Town at home in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.
  20. 81/82 season for me on the Riverside terrace. Rovers v Sheffield Wednesday league Cup tie first leg I think. My overriding memory of the game was Noel Brotherton missing a penalty that almost cleared the Blackburn End!
  21. Well done Eddie. Thanks for the time you invested in this. Bravo!
  22. I'm struggling to see what system we are trying to play with this new guy. It's his 7th game in charge and to me every game is played the same way. No idea.
  23. How many Rovers fans turned up last night? On TV the home ends had tumbleweed blowing through them and I reckon there was less than 7000 blues there. The official attendance was over 15000 with 3200 odd Boro fans visiting.were most rovers fans watching TV on the concourse or what? There were nowhere near 15k on last night. Far from it. Sign of the times and folks are voting with their feet. Good on them.
