  1. So did Cardiff, Boro, Leeds, Sheff Wednesday and Hull City. Of course we are going to lose a game at some point. Hopefully not against Luton at home. Keep your chin up.
  2. Bugger off.... If Gueye wasn't there we wouldn't have scored. His goal all day.
  3. 2 down. Another away victory. 4 to go.
  4. Sat here in a cold Sweden and just been very warmed up by that brilliant performance and the Pad Krapow my wife just made me. Man of the match for me.... Big Mak at both ends of the pitch. Downside is losing Cantwell for the Luton game. Well done Mr Eustace and the boys.
  5. Chuffed to bits for Mak. He needed that.
  6. I understand where you are coming from but can we please stop using this death spiral stuff. Yes, I know it has happened but it sounds so "Riverside early 80s" and it's boring now. Not aimed at yourself BTW. This forum lacks optimism and I get that, rinse and repeat so to speak but having won 4 on the bounce, defending well and grafting the odd goal to win especially away from home there must surely be a bit more optimistic posts here. We are 6th in the table with a game in hand ffs. Not in the bottom 3.
  7. We should have been in for him ( fee dependant) when they were in League 1. Good player. I just hope we turn up. Last visit was a shit show and embarrassing to watch. I'll be happy with a point.
  8. One down and a victory. 5 to go.
  9. Time for a change then.
  10. Goozburger used to do this. No idea what happened with him /her.
  11. I watched the latter stages of the first half and all of the second half. Burnley equaliser was bummed up as the goal of the season by the commentator but what the hell was the Boro keeper doing so far off his goaline? Poor keeping imho.
  12. Griping about how many will attend this fixture ffs! We ain't Leeds United fans fellas. It is what it is for gods sake.
  13. Plus, some of there better players have left since we last played them. Draw a minimum for me. Just don't lose whatever the performance.
  14. Wow! Love your optimism mate. Come on really. What do you think?
  15. Could our next 6 games be season defining or not? Off the top of my head, in no particular order.. Hull City away, Sheffield Wednesday away, Luton Town at home and Millwall away. Follwed by Sunderland at home and then them smelly bastards from near Yaarkshire. What would be a satisfactory points haul from those fixtures? Considering we tend to play well against the better teams as expressed in our last 3 results should we be expected to do well or are we going to produce another Stoke City at home or an awful Coventry away performance? Personally, I think we will know for sure we're we stand after January 4th. Heres hoping and not tempting fate.
  16. Very pleased with the win but equally pleased that neither Travis or Cantwell picked up a booking which would have meant a suspension. Both are needed for the Leeds game imho. Cantwell had an off night tonight but Travis, who I don't really rate too highly, played very well. Well done also to JE.
  17. A good advert for Walking football this.
  18. If we were to be awarded a penalty at some stage I wonder who the designated penalty taker would be? Tempting fate!
  19. Looking at that line up... Deflated already.
  20. A 4 nil. Home defeat won't happen imho It will be a close call I think.. Just hoping we can nudge it somehow. @KentExilehad a good idea regarding Pickering back in and playing Beck as a left side midfielder. I'd go with that but I'm afraid Eustace will stick to the same boring shite.
  21. I. Hope that's not true. Hedges needs sidelining. At least Siggy has a goal on him.
  22. Really.... What's his injury?
  23. Why was siggy not in the squad v Sheffield United? I'd give him a start over Hedges if he's fit. I'm becoming impatient watching Hedges and Dolan tbh.
