  1. Not at all but I was talking about your outstanding success at Championship level since you were relegated in 2012 … when Rovers fans talk of an empty trophy room and such at Turf Moot maybe just maybe you should be more concerned with your side making a concerted challenge for a change ? Burnley have been promoted twice since Rovers came down in 2012 and yes in 2016 they even got a trophy . Rovers have yet to finish in the top six at this level .. but yes well done on not actually winning tier 3 … so who has the chip on their shoulder ? Oh yes I know .. it’s you 😂
  2. Burnley won the play-offs in 2009 .. Promotion in 2014 and were Champions in 2016 .. meanwhile Rovers have yet to finish in a play-off position since relegation in 2012. If I were you I’d be more concerned with that than whether your neighbours have chips on their shoulders 😉… PNE next enjoy 😂
  3. That is indeed a worry for you because neither of those two clubs has played at Turf Moor this season 🤷‍♂️
  4. Merely signed in to point out that , not for the first time , at least two of your posts were factually incorrect 😉 Opinions are what this game is all about - but facts are a different matter altogether old chap 🤷‍♂️ I don’t post very often for the simple reason that we are only six games in and I’ve no idea how the season will pan out - if it’s okay with you I’ll probably be back in a month or two 😂 I’ve seen both away wins this week .. it’s been a good week but here we are with x number of new players to bed in - again time will tell
  5. Dyche didn’t sign Vokes or Shackell .. and we don’t do medicals abroad either by the way referring to one of your other posts … Heaton Arfield and Jones were the frees in the summer of 2013
  6. We’re going to have to take the rough with the smooth and be patient
  7. Yes and see my comment about financial mismanagement for an explanation of why x number of clubs suddenly collapse beyond where they’ve almost alway played …
  8. True of course but we’ve spent quite a lot of years at this level - that is all I meant .. I’ll rephrase it as I think we’ve probably found our natural level notwithstanding one of two extremes One being outstanding management The opposite being what we all fear most financial meltdown the world has changed for town clubs whatever our past might be and I did say ‘probably’ I think our time outside the top two divisons amounts to 18 seasons and for you lads it is I think just 6 ? Not many years for the two clubs combined since 1888 …
  9. Not really … both entitled to our differing opinions - that’s the beauty of our game .
  10. We’ve seen it all before - We’ll see it all again … and here we are back in the second tier where we probably both belong these days
  11. Oh and when you talk about our brief European campaign - did you enjoy the bit when the master tactician picked a weakened team in every Euro game ? A great tactical decision that saw the team that finished 7th inspired to sit in the bottom three of the league for much of 2018/19 … and don’t even mention the domestic cups - nothing but a complete shambles
  12. How many home games did Dyche the genius win during 20/21 and 21/22 ? The 17/18 season has been and gone .
  13. Yes really that was in 2018 - it’s now 2022 . The last two seasons were abysmal to watch because he had a Plan A based on one group of ageing players …
  14. 😉😂 Cheaper though don’t forget our Yorkshire links - we like a bargain
  15. Gawthorpe is excellent now - the state of the two stands is irrelevant to the players so long as they are able to live in City centre Manchester or leafy Cheshire are treated well and get paid on time the players are happy - end of.
  16. I’ve had a season ticket since 1973 - I go on week in week out because It’s my home town club , indeed I lived on Brunshaw Road for many years, and clearly I enjoy watching football. Now notwithstanding that being in the topflight is all very exciting Dycheball has in the main been a severe challenge over the years - entertainment value close to nil you’d get almost as much joy from watching us on the old ceefax half pished …
  17. Three permanent signings - one loan signing - two more permanent deals almost completed
