Interesting how Privy hasn’t confirmed Morishita. He only ever comments on done deals so I’m inclined to think this isn’t yet. Privy is quite clearly very close to the club (within?) and is keen to put a certain narrative out there. I’ve always been skeptical when people have mentioned about a “club plant” before, but reading through his tweet history I’m absolutely convinced he is.

Given VI said Brittain leaving meant we can do some business in the transfer market… If Travis goes and we can spend the money on a more technical but most likely less aggressive player (that we hopefully already have lined up), I’d probably take it. I’d take that over keeping Trav, lose him for nothing next year and then we’re chasing our tails to get a replacement in. For me though, he doesn’t leave until we are in a position to announce a player on the same day he goes.

I’ve seen that some of the Derby ITKs haven’t named the player but have said we’ll be annoyed. My guess is it’s Miyoshi.

Yeah he’s probably average in pace but works hard

Looking at Ohashi, Kargbo, De Neve etc it appears with our limited budget we’re taking a punt on buying players with physical pace attributes rather than technical. I’ll be interested to see how this plays out output-wise as a direct comparison to Dolan who is the opposite.
