  1. Should be this team. But won’t be as Eusless only plays senior players, safety first, boring football with no imagination.

We’re probably going to lose anyway so we may as well do it whilst playing young athletic lads with energy.

We’d already be safe now had he took the game to the opposition rather than playing for clean sheets & largely drab points. Holding the recruitment team back, holding the club back in planning for next season, reducing season ticket sales further. Bore off Eusless!

    Utter nonsense.

If we’d have sold his buys at the right time we’d have almost halved the current debt, that’s how good his buys actually were.

Just a shame he did cock all with them

Mowbray has a lot to answer for the current state of this club - “content with mediocrity”

Sam Gallagher epitomises every bit of that statement and that dinosaur spent £5m on him!

  3. Leicester will batter us on Saturday

With a crowd in party mood, once they get the first goal it’s game over for our bunch of soft lads.

The way to get a result would be to take the game to them, be brave and go after it early on. Unfortunately under Eusless, all we see is safety first football, playing for a clean sheet & hoping Szmodics can nick goal.

We won’t go down but it’s a sad end to the season and killing whatever spirit there is left in the fan base. Sad times 🥀

Was the explanation “because we play safety first football and we’d rather not lose than attempt to win & entertain the fans. Steve upstairs is more than happy to lose an extra 5k off the home gate next season as long as we stay in the League”

Also anyone know why this joker replaces Eusless on the touchline during set pieces? Not sure what the point, it’s bizarre

So why did we win at Leeds in front of 37k fans

It’s completely different and you know it.

We set up to defend against Leeds, rode our luck and came away with an excellent win. But to try and do the same against 2nd bottom of the league playing at home with 7k+ fans backing them is just ridiculous.

Compound that with our “senior” players and captain making repeated & basic mistakes yet still being an automatic pick in the first team, it’s football suicide.

You'd drop Dom Hyam in a heartbeat Chaddy. Everyone in the world can see it bar yourself and Eustace.

Should have had the rest of the season on the bench at HT in Bristol.

    Spot on 👍

Hyam & Pears should both be dropped v Coventry. Both directly responsible for the 2 shambolic goals conceded, otherwise we’d have got a vital point.

Eusless is a weak manager though & hasn’t got the balls to do it.

  7. Con-Don Hyam should be dropped for this game along with Pears, Gallagher, Pickering & Brittain.

These jokers and so called “senior” players are not fit to wear the shirt.

                    Michalski

      JRC Carter Wharton Chrisene

             Ayari    Tronstad

    Dolan      Szmodics    Gilsenan

                        Tyjon

Give the young lads a chance to shine and players who at very least put a shift in, not the 1 in 4 that we’ve seen all season.

  8. Useless set of c***s all round at Ewood.

Woeful keepers, spineless rest of team, a negative, tactically poor and uninspiring manager John Eusless, cash hungry CEO who’ll happily sell 7k tickets to an away team making it like a home game for them, owners who don’t give a f**k & apathetic fans who just sit there and let it happen 👏

Blackburn Rovers FC. Dying since 2011 🥀

as me and others said it played no part. Just people looking for excuses and if they can't play in front on 7k away fans then how did they play at Elland Road in front of 37k and win there then?

You’re deluded beyond belief Chaddy lad if you think having 7k fans cheering you on making it like a home game or FA Cup tie plays no part in winning a game

Stop making excuses for our shambles of a club. It’s not optimism, it’s toxic positivity and it just pisses people off

  11. The incredulity of Rovers responding to an away fans sell out by making it harder for home fans to buy tickets 😆

And then in the same article saying “the club are urging fans to pack out the stands”

To their credit though, making under 12’s free is a positive move, all be it with limited impact as the adult ticket prices are still high. Why not reduce adults to £10 for a one off to fill the ground? It’s really not rocket science Steve lad!

  12. The back 4 needs to change after the dire performance & mistakes from all of them v Bristol City. Carter is the best CB at the club and Wharton is the best of the rest & in good form overall.

Ayari in midfield with JRC in the John Stones role

Would drop Pears & Gallagher if I could but there’s no-one better!

Szmodics captain, he’s the only one that shows the passion week in week out

Don’t particularly rate Moran but Markanday is a luxury player.

All this arguing about whether JDT would have taken us down and how Eustace is faring in comparison really is like a tallest dwarf competition.

    Agreed, it’s irrelevant.

The buck lies with Steve Maggott & Venky’s for their lies, short sighted business decisions and treating the fans like idiots.

It’s led to the abject failures on the pitch, not only last night but the 1 win in 12 games since Eusless took charge of the team AND under JDT.

How the fans aren’t already on the pitch in anger and protest i’ll never know. This set of players only turn up when they fancy it and are led by a poor excuse for a captain Con Dom Hyam who had chastised fans whilst on the pitch as well as being an absolute calamity last night.

  14. Team for tonight

Rest key players Gally, JPC (Joe Poppadom-Costello), Ronnie Pickering & Wharton with the quick turn around before the Leeds game

Rest assured Eusless will revert to boring and stick with the same as Saturday with Markanday in for Hedges OR even go a defensive 3–4-3 and bring Carter in as a 3rd CB

    IMG_6513.jpeg

  15. Love Adam Wharton and think he’ll be in the England Squad by the end of 2024, he’s unique in that position in terms of keeping the ball & playing forward passes. Every inch the Lancashire Pirlo and twice the player of the Yorkshire version who got a move to City.

Needs to keep working on the defensive side of his game though, KDB made him look distinctly average for both his goals.

It's up to the fans to demand better from the club and they aren't doing that.

The fact that shadow man gets to walk from the Blackburn End car park to the Jack Walker every week unmolested shows what an easy ride these people get.

And for the record I found it just as easy to boycott the club when I lived within a couple of miles of the ground.

What are you actually doing? Apart from whingeing on an internet forum

  17. Reading fans to stage protest at England match over football’s ‘negligent’ owners

Great work by Reading fans again 👏

“We want to remind fans that while it’s Reading that are in trouble today, it could be someone else tomorrow. We need the new independent regulator for English football to have the necessary powers to safeguard clubs and solve systemic issues. The world is watching – collective responsibility is needed to ensure we have a regulator with real teeth.

The future of football depends on it.”
