Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
DuffsLeftPeg replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
It’s no wonder protests never get off the ground with all this in fighting about irrelevant former managers. Thick as f*ck. The majority of our current fanbase are an absolute embarrassment, just like the goons in the boardroom and the weakest manager & squad in our recent history. #VenkysOut is all that matters. If you’re not behind it, you’re part of the problem. -

A bit of fun! Rules of the game: Nominate a Rovers Classic or Cult Hero. Use either the first letter of the first name or surname from the previous poster! Post a picture of them too! examples: Georgios Donis the next post you could have Gary Flitcroft / Bradley Dack / Derek Fazackerley

What about the fans that aren’t Venky’s Out but don’t get behind the lads either? Too many just sit there in silence. I’m convinced that the people having a go at Ismael and singing Venky’s Out helped create an atmosphere today that was sorely lacking in the first half especially. That energy helped the team a lot in the second half. Proving that it doesn’t matter what you sing, just sing! Also, it’s possible to get behind the lads AND want our owners gone. It’s caring about the future of Blackburn Rovers Football Club that is most important. A great feeling winning from behind today and hope that this team CAN get results in this league if the opposition aren’t on it. It’s going to be a long season but the hope is there! -
Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Ismael is a symptom, not the disease In any business, the culture starts at the top - above him are Rudy, Suhail Pasha and VENKYS Nothing gets better until they’re gone #VenkysOut -

Great idea 💡 If everyone got on board with this and printed out 5-10 cards each for their mates and people around them, it would get some traction. Doing something is better than nothing -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
DuffsLeftPeg replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I agree - the time has been & gone to protest. Due to lack of action from any of the fan groups (other than the clever manipulation of the media last season by Glen) we will now get what we deserve in my opinion. Venkys Out is the only solution, it always has been. Pasha, Rudy, Ismael, Talbot etc are just employees and are irrelevant given the wider context of 15 years of incompetent ownership by Venky’s. -

This final Venkys solution has been coming for 3 years, not just since the summer…and it doesn’t end here. It started when Venky’s pulled the plug on JDT’s budget. It started ironically against Sheff Utd in the FA Cup. It started when Kaminski, a fit again & proven top class Championship goalkeeper was left out of the team to accommodate Pears. He remained there for the rest of the season to build his minutes up. Pears is now getting the same treatment until he can be sold too and weaken the squad even further. It cost us a Wembley trip and what should have been a nailed on play off place that season and it’s been downhill ever since. If you think this can’t get any worse….. -

Also, where the f*ck are the coalition? Does anyone left at Ewood Park, the fans included, care enough anymore to do anything? This doesn’t end in League One! -

No expert but I think Wharton is still recovering from playing 42 games across the Championship & Premier League in the season we sold him. Then going to the Euros for a month with England. Also, when fit, Palace play him every single game with little rest as he’s so important to them. Hopefully this latest injury is just a blip & conveniently timed around the international break so he doesn’t miss too many more PL games - otherwise his future move, England career & our sell on money is at risk!

The Venky’s fire sale is well and truly started. Admittedly only small scraps of wood left to throw on now but looks to me like they’re cashing in on all remaining assets… -

I like this but would go 3-5-2 myself with Cantwell in a “free” role in midfield. Watched Birmingham v Ipswich and they lacked control in the middle of the park - win that battle we win the game in my opinion. Birmingham play with intensity & get the ball forward quickly but we’ve shown in the past we’re usually better when teams play on the front foot against us. Teams like WBA last week who played shit house dirty tactics and sit back, we struggle against. Toth Miller Hyam McLoughlin Alebiousu Riberio Travis Tavares Cantwell Ohashi Kargbo This is based on the performances last week - Hedges simply isn’t good enough to start at Championship level and Tronstad was poor. Travis to make his last stand in blue & white - we need his and Millers’ battling qualities in this game. We also need Cantwell’s creativity & Kargbo’s pace to get us forward and up the pitch. Bucking the trend of doom & gloom on here… 2-1 Rovers COYB 🌹 -
Wharton will stay at Palace this season. It’s the best environment for him for now, a move now would only add pressure. He knows that as he’s got his head screwed on. He’ll star at the World Cup and will be able to name his team after that. The lad is a different level, every top club in Europe will want him next summer.

Did you watch Hedges play last week? He’s League One level at best. Another parasite from the Tony Mowbray era, hanging on until the end of his contract as no-else is silly enough to buy him. Also McLoughlin will start before Wharton. Unfortunately all the footballing talent in his family went to his younger brother. He’s well past his best. -
v Bradford City (h) - 12/8/25 - Carabao Cup
DuffsLeftPeg replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We only played 3 youngsters, 2 of which got minutes in the Championship last season. The rest of the team are seasoned professionals and/or recent first team signings. There are no excuses for losing, especially with a bench full of our very best players (if you can call them that!). I’m hoping the new look team can kick on, starting with a win on Saturday which would change everything. But so far the signs aren’t looking good! -
