  1. If not now then when? Enough is enough when it comes to the running of this club No cosying up to Waggott in meetings with the players. The time for dialogue is over. They’ve shown their true colours. It’s time to show ours 🔵⚪️
  2. All ideas on the table. Whatever happens needs to come with an educational piece for the fans with their head still in the sand and the wider media. Hopefully there will be a greater consensus now after what has happened, the ill judged club statement and the support from WATR. It’s a start.
  3. Odd thing to say for a Rovers fan to downplay the effects of any protest on a protest thread. Are you on the Venkys payroll? I admire your realism and you’re probably right but there is no greater time for action than now. What will it do? Probably nothing on its own, but if there is a steady and consistent effort from the fan base we have left, and all of us are united, we can grind them down.
  4. Unlike Waggott’s knee jerk reaction…still digesting the news & thinking of next steps. We will see what happens over the next few days with regard to a future protest. Initial plan in my head though is that some form of protest is essential at the next home game v Plymouth, targetted squarely at the door of SW, Suhail and the Rovers board. Meeting on the Darwen End side where the players & executives walk into the ground around 1.30pm then walking to the Jack Walker Statue with banners and the like. A peaceful protest outside the ground but get behind the lads in the ground during the game. Regardless of any manager changes over the coming days. Nothing has changed since the original post of this thread on January 23rd 2024. Nothing changes at BRFC until the cancer of Venky’s is removed 🐔 🥀
  5. I think the opposite. This knee jerk statement is the mark of an old has-been who has got it wrong this time. Anyone with a brain sees straight through it. The “Significant Investment” line especially. I didn’t think the club could stoop any lower. Mind you their stewards were stealing Cunha’s shirt off a group of children yesterday
  6. Great work! Hopefully Santa sees them and gives all Rovers fans the best Christmas ever by getting rid of Venkys
  7. That’s probably his other shirt to be fair. The one he gave away was at half-time as he ran down the tunnel. My nephew had the best hand on it that’s why I went to ask to clarify why the steward took it away. Wish I’d taken a picture of her now.
  8. It makes me sick. No friendliness or any human decency about them whatsoever when questioned. Family club my arse.
  9. Kudos to Cunha giving his shirt to Rovers fans today at half-time. Less kudos to the jobsworth steward who took it off the children who caught it citing “safety reasons” and “I’ve taken it down the tunnel and it will be auctioned for charity” when I asked her why. Absolute disgrace
  10. Also just to point out we still had Adam Wharton and Szmodics when I had that banner made. The club has been dying a slow death for years. Temporary form and occasional “success” of a cup run or being up there at Christmas will always paper over the cracks but the slow decline of the playing staff is clear to see. As well as the lack of progress and any kind of ambition to even get in the play-offs.
  11. Don’t bother with protesting. There is zero appetite for it however Waggott would literally shit his moderately expensive pants if one ever did get off the ground! I’ve still got a 6 metre banner of the below if one does ever happen! What happened to Glen Mullan btw? Feel free to use and abuse the image below
  12. He’s 19, sorry duff previous info! Needs must unfortunately. Not convinced he’ll be trusted but it’s a good opportunity to shine if he does get a game.
  13. Pears Sanderson Litherland Hyam Beck Forshaw Buckley Dolan Cantwell ACD Gueye Debut for an 18 Year old lad who’s been with us since aged 6! COYB 🌹
  14. It’s not all bad. We’re still 6th despite only 1 League win in 8. The squad has coped until recently however now the cracks are starting to show after too many games for the remaining players like Tronstad & Batth. A blind man can see that reinforcements are needed. But they have to be better than what we’ve already got or there’s no progression. Unfortunately these owners and the CEO only plan from one window to the next and there is zero ambition to progress, in fact they’ve consistently shown they actively avoid it. Let’s hope at very least for more bodies in the door of better quality. Whilst some have the excuse of fatigue, there were players out there tonight who simply don’t deserve to play for Blackburn Rovers FC.
  15. He was awful tonight. Ball watching and half hearted attempts to defend for both goals. A squad player at best that should be nowhere near the starting XI for a club in the top 6 of the Championship.
  16. He was awful. 5 Years of solid mediocrity with a minor high of getting out of League One at the first attempt, all be it trumped by an inferior Wigan side. He is in my opinion a key reason for the current state of the club. His successors both show a HUGE improvement in ambition and respect for the fans.
  17. New song, to the tune of Spurs Chas & Dave song 🎶 Eustace taking us to Wembley Rovers gonna do it again No-ones gonna stop em The boys from Blackburn The boys from Ewood Park Repeat to fade.

  19. Wiemann says otherwise. His recent goals prove he’s still got it, at very least for this season.
  20. Lots of age snobbery on this thread despite most posters (myself included) being 40+ Can someone tell me with any authority why 33 means you’re past it? Wiemann is 33 but made some key contributions this season and his experience is invaluable. The Dingles have just signed Ashley Barnes who is 35. No-one is saying Forshaw is in his prime, or Sanderson is coming in as the next Ryan Nelsen, but there are different reasons for signing a player and Eustace clearly values experience. It is essential in this league. Some people need to be realistic. We all know how our owners operate and they do not shell out cash in January (or at all 😂) Lose the anger against them and set your expectations at the level we are at.
  21. Fair point. I’m pretty sure Alan Shearer at 50+ would score more goals in a season that Gueye though 🫢
  22. Incorrect as the below proves. But keep on with the negativity, you’re clearly an expert at it 😉 They’re Rovers now so let’s get behind them and pray for better signings for the forward line where we need them 🤞🏻
