  1. I’ve printed out a 6ft banner that cost me £40 and it came out v Wrexham on Monday night on 85 minutes with the kind help of @Oldgregg86 I’ve done something positive and would do it again if I was able to make the game. Not seen anyone else do anything, apart from 1 minor chant in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield that died down very quickly! It’s incredulous to me that other people on here won’t, despite the negative feelings towards Venky’s and yet another shambolic transfer window. The level of apathy is unreal. Crystal Palace fans protested recently v Arsenal and they’re an established Premier League Club with some top class talent on their books and they’ve just signed one of our own, a generational talent to build a team around, a future Champions League & England player who didn’t really want to leave…and yet we’re the ones doing sod all. Incredible!
  2. Team for tomorrow. Hopefully Fazzy Bear is fit to start. This is based on what I saw v Wrexham - Garrett, Siggy and Moran don’t deserve to start after their weak performances against League 2 opposition and Atari can play 😉 Fingers crossed for the W but with the chaos currently engulfing the club I can’t say I’m confident! Pears McFazdean Hyam Wharton JRC Chrisene Ayari Tronstad Dolan Gally Szmodics
  3. The naysayers can be silenced in an instant by telling them we were a Premier League Club when Venky’s took over. Tell them to go home, do some research and they’re more than welcome to join the protest when they’re more clued up. Back yourself and what you believe in. Why are so many on here so opinionated but haven’t balls to put their money where their mouth is and actually TAKE ACTION? I can’t make the QPR game as I’m away for the weekend but if there’s not even a minor voice of discontent from the fans we are well and truly f*cked! JDT has been silenced, we’re the only ones left DO SOMETHING
  4. He’s fuming and I reckon likely to unleash his fury on the owners post-match, so as not to affect the team’s build up to a vital game A sensible decision me thinks but one that further highlights the incredible chaos that is now the new normal at Blackburn Rovers FC Venky’s & Waggott OUT 🥀 🐔
  5. He didn’t need to go, it’s a good move for him and no player in their right mind would turn down a big contract in the Premier League. No-one is saying he’s a victim here. But he clearly didn’t want to leave and he only left because the club NEEDED to sell him to prop our finances up whilst our cretinous owners are being investigated by foreign courts…what don’t you understand about that? He’d still be here if we had any kind of ambition to progress. That’s what people are pissed off about. Wake up!
  6. Incorrect. Read his first interview for Palace and he references coming into the the club and being inspired by Samba, Santa Cruz, Ryan Nelsen. We are a shadow of a team and players that good now and as long as we have these criminals in charge of our club, we will NEVER get back there. Wake up people! This is the new normal. Selling once in a generation talent for peanuts in comparison to what he’ll be worth after only a handful of Premier League appearances. All for NONE of the money to be reinvested back into the playing squad and we’re now two home grown midfielders light and heading for League One either this season or next
  7. 🚨 New signing 🚨 We’re getting Crystal Palace Fans’ Banner on loan for the rest of the season! This would be a better signing than any player if we get #VenkysOut 😆
  8. Do you think in return for selling them Adam Wharton Palace fans could loan us their banner?! To think we are are selling them our best player with the club going nowhere (apart from League One!) and our fans STILL haven’t got the balls to do anything and protest about it!
  9. Agreed, 18 minutes would be the time and then if the game isn’t cancelled for whatever reason do it again on 75. Every fan who wants to join on the pitch with a bag full of feathers emptied everywhere & a dozen eggs to be launched at the directors box!
  10. Agree with the above if the transfer window plays out as expected. Get on the pitch during the game on Saturday, it’s the only way. 18 and 75 minutes. With banners and Venky’s / Waggot out chants! They’re an absolute shambles and an embarrassment with the way they are treating people.
  11. Did anyone in the ground actually see the banner brought out on 85 minutes and again after full time against Wrexham? We were in Jack Walker Lower, on the Darwen End side in W03 close to the away team area. Unfortunately I can’t make the QPR game but the Newcastle game is another great opportunity against another side with new owners who are present and care about the club they have bought! And let’s face it, we’ll likely get spanked so any protest is irrelevant to the team’s performance, which I am keen to protect as much as possible. Needs more numbers and co-ordinated action in the ground. One relatively small 6ft banner, although a start, is nowhere near enough. It needs to be something that is cast iron guaranteed to get the attention of the directors box, JDT & the players and ultimately the national media. I got my banner into the ground with no issues whatsoever and the stewards nearby weren’t interested at all. We had the banner up against the glass into the corporate section too at one point as a woman was filming on her iPhone. A few dissenting comments nearby but @Oldgregg86 quickly put them in their place, telling them to go home and do some research on Venky’s! At full time a group of younger lads of Asian origin helped us hold up the banner at the front of the stand and were very much in support of Venky’s Out, saying they can’t believe this is the first time they’ve seen anyone protesting recently about our inept and absent owners. So the appetite IS there, even from younger people newer to the support. Is anyone else actually going to do anything or just keep moaning about it on here and elsewhere online? Inbox me if you would like to join the WhatsApp group I have set up to discuss further ACTION plans.
  12. All talk no action you, but agreed. Did anyone in the ground actually see the banner brought out on 85 minutes and again after full time against Wrexham? Unfortunately I can’t make the QPR game but the Newcastle game is another great opportunity against another side with new owners who are present and care about the club they have bought! 13. High praise - Ronaldo is a machine and one of the greatest footballers of all time, not sure he runs as much as our Sammie though! Top performance 🫡 he can definitely play at a higher level than the Championship, hopefully we can hang on to him for at least another season but can see him moving on in the summer.
  14. Moran was poor. Not sure what he actually offers other than passing backwards, out of play or to the opposition. Yet to really nail down a position despite being in the team most weeks.
  15. Szmodics was outstanding tonight, genuinely don’t think we’d have won the game without him…he was a class above every player on the pitch. His work rate and energy are unmatched in the team, I’ve never seen a fitter footballer at any level than him - he was literally everywhere on the pitch tonight and never stops running. His quality and finishing ability in front of goal are highly underrated. Playing with absolute bags of confidence at the minute and it’s great to see! Thought the rest were average in comparison. Great to see Dolan, Gally & JRC back on the pitch, more to come from them hopefully. Moran, Garrett & Siggy have to do better. Delighted for MegaTron to get his first goal for the club, looked like he enjoyed it! Hard to gauge a result like that against a very poor Wrexham team but you can only beat what’s in front of you and it was very comfortable in the end.
  16. Got it out on 85 mins and again at full time! Thanks @Oldgregg86 for helping me out Little interest to be honest apart from a few young lads who helped us hold it up & were in support of Venky’s Out Needs more though and hopefully from small acorns tonight it will continue to grow
  17. Anyone interested in joining a protest against Venky’s & Steve Waggott at full time tonight inbox me for details to join a WhatsApp group There’ll be nothing during the game unless it’s going massively pear shaped as I don’t want it to negatively affect the players
  18. *Update* Inbox me if you would like to join any protest tonight. This will not take place pre-game as I don’t want any resultant negativity to affect the game. I will gauge the atmosphere & feeling during the game, if things do go pear shaped during the match it’ll be a good time to bring it out and definitely at full time, regardless of result. After the statement released by the club over the weekend it is good the club are communicating with fans and I have also had sight of an email sent by SWAG by a fan regarding this issue. However, the statement did not provide any further clarity on what we already know, I thought it was pretty pathetic in all honesty and I believe Steve Waggott is hiding behind mis-information and hoping things don’t escalate. But the facts are clear to see as far as Venky’s are concerned. The damage they’ve done and continue to do to our club is unforgivable and it’s time to ramp up the pressure on all involved.
  19. Great shout. Simple is usually best, where can you get these?
  20. Join the protest movement against Venky’s & Steve Waggott See separate thread 🧵
  21. Hello all, I’ve started this thread to discuss protest ideas so those in support can start taking positive action against the current state of the club and owners Venky’s & CEO Steve Waggott. Their short sighted and non-sensical business decisions are slowly killing BRFC from the inside out and it cannot be allowed to go on. As fans we’re the only ones with the best interests of Blackburn Rovers Football Club at heart 💙🤍🌹 Aims of the Protest Movement 1. The ultimate aim is for Venky’s to sell the club to new owners who are present, communicate with the fans and have the best interests of the club & fans at heart AND the community it is part of. 2. The initial aim is to voice the growing frustration of the fan base & for the current CEO Steve Waggott to start communicating with us and to be open & transparent about the ongoing financial issues and resultant inability to recruit the quality & number of players we need to progress as a club. 3. If there is no response from the club to the initial aims, the protest will enter its next stage, ideas below: Ideas Further ideas would be welcomed on how to take this forward. There were the first rumblings in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield with the “Venky’s Out” chant but we need more co-ordinated action for the owners & CEO to really sit up and listen. They’ve had a far too easy ride up until now. Some ideas I’ve had already: 1. Protest with banners/sign reveal and singing on 18 & 75 minutes during a league game. This could be as simple as downloading the below image onto your phone or iPad & holding it up as well as home made banners, signs and the like for those who want to. 2. A Reading style pitch invasion and sit down protest during a game. This would be a last resort currently. 3. Printing of t-shirts and a full on march style protest ending up at the Jack Walker statue before a League home game Any further and even more innovative ideas would be welcomed…. Venky’s & Waggott…were comin’ for you!
  22. Same but sitting elsewhere for maximum TV coverage! 📺
  23. 6ft Venky’s & Waggott Out banner has arrived & ready for the Wrexham Game Sitting in W03 in JW Lower, back row, in full view of the TV Cameras if anyone would like to join…will need help holding the banner up at very least!!!
