  1. Taking Dingles out 2 at a time! Once a Rover, always a Rover 🌹
  2. The ticket map v Newcastle is pretty worrying. Anyone know how many tickets we’ve sold? Haven’t seen much marketing for this fixture at all amidst all the relentless fake positivity surrounding the new manager on social media & the website. If we can’t sell tickets for a game against a “glmaorous” Premier League & Champions League side what hope have we got?
  3. One of Leo’s better games? Chris Sutton called him a “Flapper” on the commentary!
  4. In the absence of any other organised ideas, this one looks the best. Whistles on another pre-determined minute towards the end of the game to call time on Venky’s? I hope everyone is not fooled by the relentless fake positivity coming out of the clubs social media & website, in the absence of any real communication about what’s gone on. Are the majority of our fan base really that stupid and gullible to fall for a League One Manager & kick and rush football to get easy points? Even the players are in on it now, clearly being put up to praising the fans who travelled to Cardiff on social media….whatever the f*ck next?
  5. Sad not to see him in a Rovers shirt for another 6 months but glad he’s done so well in his first few games for Palace. He’ll thrive under their new coach playing in a midfield 2 which should bring out the best of both sides of his game. He was positionally superb last night and always looking to play forward when he got the ball. He did his defensive duties well too, even muscling Doucouré off the ball on one occasion which is no mean feat. He only looks lazy as he’s 5 yards ahead of anyone else on the pitch in his head and so is always where he needs to be without looking like he is trying. He’s a generational talent and it won’t be too long before the top 6-8 PL Clubs come calling for his services.
  6. Bring back JDT! Callum Brittain is a sh*t house, bleating like a little lamb within days of JDT leaving and then putting an awful performance in like that and giving away a goal. Poor lad not being able to cross, pity he’s not able to defend either. I don’t like many of this squad anymore. Szmodics & Tronstad are the only 2 that are solid week in week out, the rest are either sh*t, sh*thouses or permanently injured like JRC.
  7. Are Dolan & Gallagher ACTUALLY any good? No doubts we’ve missed them, but only because their replacements are absolute garbage. For me they’re just good in comparison to the poorer standard of player we've signed who really should’ve been a step up in quality if the club had any real ambition to keep progressing. Neither Gally or Dolan have consistently shown they’re up to it in the past. What’s changed now?
  8. You’re talking nonsense to suit your argument…JDT’s football was excellent and we finished higher than at any point under Mowbray and would have made the play offs comfortably but for the O’Brien transfer failing and the inexplicable decision to keep Kaminski on the bench - he was clearly due to be sold and Pears needed Championship minutes, that decision was clearly above JDT’s head and he eventually left for a pathetic £2m, given he’s now worth at least £20m and we replaced him with a Swedish Flapper. We also had 2 brilliant cup runs, beating 2 Premier League sides along the way and almost getting to a semi-final at Wembley against Man City. JDT was a young, progressive and ambitious coach and he’d played the game at the very highest level. With backing last summer and if GB had the ability and funds to get the players in we need, we would’ve continued to progress this season. Unfortunately we replaced Kaminski with Leo who is clearly an awful keeper and since he came into the team we began conceding 2 goals per game. How is any manager expected to get results with players who aren’t ready for Championship football? Also see Ennis & Telalovic - not ready for the Championship. James Hill aside, who’s now left too, the quality of our loans has also been worse than in previous seasons. Good luck to Eustace, it’s a good appointment in the circumstances but under the same club ownership, financial issues and their stooge Steve MAGGOTT as CEO, this continues to go one way before the asset stripping really begins in the summer. New era my arse! This won’t end until the parasites leave.
  9. Couldn’t agree more. Parasites - them and Steve Maggott will never be forgiven after the EMBARRASSMENT they’ve caused the club and the fans this week. Get them OUT!
  10. What matters is keeping the heat & spotlight on the Rao Family & Steve Maggott. They’re parasites. Pep Guardiola, KDB and Haaland could rock up tomorrow and they’d still struggle with these CLOWNS running the circus
  11. Returning the original post to the top of the agenda We need these alleged CRIMINALS Steve Maggott and the Rao Family HOUNDED OUT of our club before it’s too late and the real asset stripping begins. It’s incredible what’s transpired after this thread was created on the 23rd January but finally glad the wider Rovers fanbase & national media are waking up from their slumber as to what’s actually going on and Venky’s/Maggott to be shown up for what they really are. This is bigger than the players or any new manager now. We need them gone to safeguard the future of Blackburn Rovers FC! 🥀 🐔
  12. It wasn’t about luck. 2 clear reasons why we didn’t get into the play offs last season: 1 O’Brien Transfer Shambles 2 The treatment of Thomas Kaminski; the best goalkeeper in the Championship left out of the team so Pears could get Championship experience & later sold for a pathetic £2m. He’s gone on to be a huge success and a fan favourite at Luton in the Premier League and now worth at least 10x that. With those two players in the team we would’ve gained the points to get in the Play Offs quite comfortably, likely in 4th or 5th position and had a good a chance of getting to a final v Luton where anything could happen. It all went Pears shaped after the Sheff Utd FA Cup game. Before that and despite everything we were still fighting on 2 fronts to get to Wembley. The failures of 1 & 2 above point straight to Venkys & Waggott and it is their failures alone that have left us in the mess we are in now. Everything else is just a convenient excuse.
  13. I think we should go full circle and bring back Big Sam! Venky’s can then f*ck right off and it’ll almost be as if the last 13 years haven’t happened 😆
  14. Agree. McFazdean & John Fleck could play a big part in this and their experience will be key. Next 2 games against the teams immediately below us are absolutely crucial!
  15. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=DVX1QlWX5W4 Good watch this. Shows how the entire playing style/philosophy of the club from Academy to First Team is built around having a 6 & two 8’s in midfield. So for the first team it was built around Adam Wharton. No wonder JDT is fuming as he’s gone ahead of time and not been replaced so we’re starting from scratch again. Do think Buckley has the ability to play that role when he’s fit though & Ayari could possibly do it too. Explains why Travis wasn’t favoured because he hasn’t got the footballing ability to play a 6 and he’s not good enough in forward areas to play an 8. GB is interviewed and comes across really well, he’s clearly passionate and heavily invested in the youth development model and a Rovers Academy that is a proven success. Venky’s however are killing the entire model that GB & JDT have worked so hard to put in place because of their financial issues and cutting of the budget. Makes it impossible for us to ever progress with the Rao Family at the helm.
  16. You specifically said the Newcastle “game” though and called the idea of targeting it daft ⬇️ I started this thread and understand there is a lot of different opinions, my point was, if you’re actually willing to take action then join the WhatsApp group. The current plan is to target the Newcastle game with a protest during the game. This was the idea behind the original thread prior to the Wrexham game. Unfortunately only 2 of us were willing to do anything at that point. Hopefully following the QPR game and the conclusion of another shambolic transfer window, the tide is beginning to turn. Most people on this messageboard seem to have big opinions & a lot of things to say but aren’t actually willing to do anything about it.
  17. Good job it’s got nothing to do with Newcastle then. The game is live on BBC One, that’s why it should be targeted - for maximum impact and maximum exposure. Join the WhatsApp group if you want to discuss & come together on a planned course of action. If not then please don’t comment on this thread if you’ve got nothing useful to say to take things forward.
  18. Do you really think JDT was really the only person behind those decisions? Wake up mate
  19. Any banner related to Venky’s Out or similar…stop fannying about with your fancy ideas. I’ve got my banner done already, it’s been out at the Wrexham game and it’s going to every home game I’m at from now on. Newcastle game is the one to target. High profile, on TV against a huge Premier League Club, Shearer in the studio, what could be better? Rubber Chickens on the pitch on 18 minutes, Pitch Invasion on 75 minutes and get the game stopped. Simple. Maximum Impact, Maximum Exposure. That’s the only way now.
  20. Calm down I’m on about now not 10 years ago. Not a whimper v Wrexham and barely a minor chant v Huddersfield. Let’s focus on the here and now, not argue amongst ourselves. I’m not trying to spin anything just telling it how it is right now
  21. I’ve printed out a 6ft banner that cost me £40 and it came out v Wrexham on Monday night on 85 minutes with the kind help of @Oldgregg86 I’ve done something positive and would do it again if I was able to make the game. Not seen anyone else do anything, apart from 1 minor chant in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield that died down very quickly! It’s incredulous to me that other people on here won’t, despite the negative feelings towards Venky’s and yet another shambolic transfer window. The level of apathy is unreal. Crystal Palace fans protested recently v Arsenal and they’re an established Premier League Club with some top class talent on their books and they’ve just signed one of our own, a generational talent to build a team around, a future Champions League & England player who didn’t really want to leave…and yet we’re the ones doing sod all. Incredible!
