  1. Agree entirely. It may start small but it will grow and what’s going on needs highlighting - it’s only the fans who can do that. We can’t rely on Chris Sutton or the LET to do that for us. It starts and ends with the fans…as it should in any well run football club with owners that understand, care and connect with the community it is part of.
  2. Agreed. This was the same doom mongering we had under Tony Slowbray and we got JDT - a young, ambitious, progressive coach who sticks to his principles and plays football in the modern way. If he was backed properly we’d be challenging for promotion. So let’s stop arguing and talking and DO something about it! Positive action is the only way forward now. Venkys & SWAG OUT!
  3. Could have 50 of these made up as a starter for £10 a pop to cover costs. Sold at entrance to Kidder Street prior to the Wrexham game and could look into ordering more & distributing wider if things catch on organically 🔥
  4. I’d be happy to get some t-shirts on order and sell at cost to whoever wants to buy My thinking is this: 1) I’ll print out the logo this weekend and can hand out to people at the ground for Huddersfield game and attempt some Venkys Out chants to test the waters in the Blackburn End 2) Wrexham game - Banners, stickers, t-shirts outside the ground near the entrance to the Blackburn End on Kidder Street prior to the game - 6.30pm start 3) Peaceful protest inside the ground with banners & t shirts on, sitting as close as possible to the dugouts in either side of the JW Lower. 7.30pm - 7.45pm so all the players and management can see when they enter the field of play and line up for the fair play handshake. 4) Media outlets to be contacted in advance to drum up attention and a level of support 5) If the club don’t acknowledge the protest & statements made then it moves to the next stage at the QPR Home Game following on the 3rd Feb, with a pitch invasion and sit down protest during the game
  5. Got to start somewhere… Positive action is always better than standing by and doing nothing. Whether it will make any difference is another thing entirely with these cowboys currently at the helm….
  6. The Reading protests were all over Sky Sports News so you’re talking nonsense The Wrexham game is the ideal opportunity for an in-stadium protest, on TV & under the lights in a higher profile game than normal
  7. Agreed the conditions are entirely different from the first time around 1) We were in the Premier League, not 18th in the Championship with the worst goals conceded record in the league 2) Venky’s had a lot of the fan base fooled (me included!) with blind optimism 3) We hadn’t recently loaned out our club captain to a team riding high for promotion to cut costs & got rid of the best GK in the league for a paltry price, swapped for a Pear & a Flapper! My banner is made & en route. Who’s with me for the Wrexham game?
  8. I’ll be unfurling a banner, sat in the JW Lower (Blackburn End Side) so in full sight of the TV Cameras & players when they come out to start the game, who is joining me? 🪧 Hollywood v Bollywood at the soon to be Deadwood if we don’t take a stand
  9. Eggs! Because what came first the chicken or the egg? 🐔 🍳
  10. It won’t happen. And even if it did then it would counterproductive as our fans would be marked down as disloyal. So those that care and are passionate enough, attend & protest at the game - peacefully at this stage from the stands and if there is no acknowledgement from the club then it escalates at the next match, and so on. It’s clear to me now that there is only one way our club is going under the stewardship of Venkys & CEO Steve Waggot. Either we take action now or we stand feebly by and watch the club we all love crumble before our eyes. Positive action is always better IMO
  11. Forget all this rubbish above from a Supporters Group I’ve never heard of. They don’t speak for me or the majority of the fan base. It’s time to protest and the Wrexham game; high profile given the opponents who incidentally have amazing owners who care about the club and the community it is part of; and also is on TV - all be it BBC Wales. Who knows, even Disney+ might be filming! Who’s with me and what’s the plan?
  12. Poor journalism as Travis started the match against Watford on the 23rd December, all be it at left back.
  13. I would go: Flapper Brittain Hill Pickering Batty Trav MegaTron Wharton Dolan Szmodics Siggy Extra protection of Trav for the back 4, Wharton further forward to play some killer passes through the middle and through the channels.
  14. Did you try and ring up? A friend of mine tried his luck first thing this morning and got one. There must have been a handful left after the original phase . Poor communication from the club all round really!
  15. We’re Blackburn Boys We’re Blackburn Enders Dingle Fans are all s*x offenders!
  16. Agreed and this weekends defeat wasn’t even close to the pasting we dished out that day at Ewood. At least we were still in the game at half time! Lets hope the players show that passion and fight at Ewood where we’ve been mostly excellent this season.
  17. Your opinion on noise levels is irrelevant if you weren’t there. No retraction of statement. Comment on the game all you want. You’ve obviously got a bee in your pipe about not getting a ticket due to 1875 members. I’m an 1875 Member & Blackburn End Season Ticket Holder, this was my first away game of this season and I was singing as loudly as anyone, all be it not drunk or coked up like the usual rabble who go to local away games!
  18. The noise level was great, it was absolutely bouncing before the game and we were by far the more vocal fans up until they scored. Don’t comment if you weren’t at the game. The fans gave their all and your 1875 member theory is ridiculous. Just a shame the players didn’t turn up! That’s the problem here.
  19. It’s an absolute disgrace this, seen similar posts by Morton, Kaminski and Szmodics today. Clearly some were already on the beach yesterday. They should have been in work today debriefing on a pathetic performance. Even if not, certainly don’t post on social media. There should be a public club apology or by JDT. Clearly there is no understanding of how much this meant and how much they’ve let down the fans.
  20. Glad you’re not picking the team! “Stick to 442” is what Sunday league managers do as it’s the only formation their tiny minds can process
  21. The shift to the side and strike into the opposite corner is straight out of the coaching manual…the keepers weight shifts onto the opposite foot before the shot comes in making it very difficult to save. The defending is very poor, showing him onto his stronger foot but AW took full advantage. He was also involved in the build up too so it’s a great goal all round 👍🏻
  22. New song for Hull as per Arsenal’s Super Mik Arteta chant… ”We’ve got Super JDT He knows exactly what we need Hyam at the back, Gally in attack Rovers on their way to Premier League” Having watched Arsenal All Or Nothing recently the parallels with Arteta & JDT are similar…both in their early 40’s with distinguished playing careers, with limited experience managing a club after a long period of under achievement and instability. Both with very young teams and implementing a new structure and system with an emphasis on youth development. Like last season at Arsenal we’re very inconsistent currently but over time with the same consistent message and way of playing and further investment in the squad - we could be flying even higher this time next year; unbeaten and several points clear at the top! 🤞 Going for another 2-1 Rovers victory at Hull. They’ve lost 8 games and have the worst goal difference in the league so we should be looking for the W on current form and with a week to prepare. COYB 🌹
  23. The 3rd round is strangely not until the week commencing 8th November…hopefully we’ll have a decent back 4 by then!
