Changing the head coach is a totally meaningless thing at this point in time.

We need to double our efforts to remove Venkys from our club.

    Destroy their reputation.

Couldn’t agree more. Parasites - them and Steve Maggott will never be forgiven after the EMBARRASSMENT they’ve caused the club and the fans this week.

    Get them OUT!

What matters tomorrow is points not protests.

At least not whilst we are still in the game and i think we all know the only thing in the near future that will force them out is the Indian courts and/or Indian govt.

Fingers crossed we stay up then sense is seen in summer and they take the correct steps to move us out of their perennial stranglehold.

What matters is keeping the heat & spotlight on the Rao Family & Steve Maggott. They’re parasites.

Pep Guardiola, KDB and Haaland could rock up tomorrow and they’d still struggle with these CLOWNS running the circus

    Hello all,

I’ve started this thread to discuss protest ideas so those in support can start taking positive action against the current state of the club and owners Venky’s & CEO Steve Waggott. Their short sighted and non-sensical business decisions are slowly killing BRFC from the inside out and it cannot be allowed to go on.

As fans we’re the only ones with the best interests of Blackburn Rovers Football Club at heart 💙🤍🌹

    Aims of the Protest Movement

    1. The ultimate aim is for Venky’s to sell the club to new owners who are present, communicate with the fans and have the best interests of the club & fans at heart AND the community it is part of.

    2. The initial aim is to voice the growing frustration of the fan base & for the current CEO Steve Waggott to start communicating with us and to be open & transparent about the ongoing financial issues and resultant inability to recruit the quality & number of players we need to progress as a club.

    3. If there is no response from the club to the initial aims, the protest will enter its next stage, ideas below:

    Ideas

Further ideas would be welcomed on how to take this forward. There were the first rumblings in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield with the “Venky’s Out” chant but we need more co-ordinated action for the owners & CEO to really sit up and listen. They’ve had a far too easy ride up until now.

    Some ideas I’ve had already:

    1. Protest with banners/sign reveal and singing on 18 & 75 minutes during a league game. This could be as simple as downloading the below image onto your phone or iPad & holding it up as well as home made banners, signs and the like for those who want to.

    2. A Reading style pitch invasion and sit down protest during a game. This would be a last resort currently.

    3. Printing of t-shirts and a full on march style protest ending up at the Jack Walker statue before a League home game

Any further and even more innovative ideas would be welcomed….

    Venky’s & Waggott…were comin’ for you!

Returning the original post to the top of the agenda

We need these alleged CRIMINALS Steve Maggott and the Rao Family HOUNDED OUT of our club before it’s too late and the real asset stripping begins.

It’s incredible what’s transpired after this thread was created on the 23rd January but finally glad the wider Rovers fanbase & national media are waking up from their slumber as to what’s actually going on and Venky’s/Maggott to be shown up for what they really are.

This is bigger than the players or any new manager now. We need them gone to safeguard the future of Blackburn Rovers FC! 🥀 🐔

Buckley won't be ready for a while but they'll probably rush him back and he'll get re-injured.

Point is though he'll be better in the Wharton role than Moran !

JDT really is just going to have to change things up though and leave the style that has made a major contribution to an awful season.

Agree. McFazdean & John Fleck could play a big part in this and their experience will be key.

Next 2 games against the teams immediately below us are absolutely crucial!

Good watch this. Shows how the entire playing style/philosophy of the club from Academy to First Team is built around having a 6 & two 8’s in midfield. So for the first team it was built around Adam Wharton.

No wonder JDT is fuming as he’s gone ahead of time and not been replaced so we’re starting from scratch again.

Do think Buckley has the ability to play that role when he’s fit though & Ayari could possibly do it too.

Explains why Travis wasn’t favoured because he hasn’t got the footballing ability to play a 6 and he’s not good enough in forward areas to play an 8.

GB is interviewed and comes across really well, he’s clearly passionate and heavily invested in the youth development model and a Rovers Academy that is a proven success.

Venky’s however are killing the entire model that GB & JDT have worked so hard to put in place because of their financial issues and cutting of the budget. Makes it impossible for us to ever progress with the Rao Family at the helm.

The Cup game will be on national TV but it was a response to the idea to contact Newcastle fans - which I think would be a waste of time for the reasons stated.

There's differing views on how we should go about the protests and this is one forum where they can be expressed. If you don't understand that perhaps you should stick to your WhatsApp group where you might be more useful?

You specifically said the Newcastle “game” though and called the idea of targeting it daft ⬇️

Agree. It's a daft idea to target the Newcastle game.

I started this thread and understand there is a lot of different opinions, my point was, if you’re actually willing to take action then join the WhatsApp group.

The current plan is to target the Newcastle game with a protest during the game. This was the idea behind the original thread prior to the Wrexham game. Unfortunately only 2 of us were willing to do anything at that point. Hopefully following the QPR game and the conclusion of another shambolic transfer window, the tide is beginning to turn.

Most people on this messageboard seem to have big opinions & a lot of things to say but aren’t actually willing to do anything about it.

Agree. It's a daft idea to target the Newcastle game. They're a deluded lot who think they support the biggest club in the world. They look down on us like they do most clubs and we won't get any sympathy from them let alone support

Good job it’s got nothing to do with Newcastle then.

The game is live on BBC One, that’s why it should be targeted - for maximum impact and maximum exposure.

Join the WhatsApp group if you want to discuss & come together on a planned course of action. If not then please don’t comment on this thread if you’ve got nothing useful to say to take things forward.

I agree it was also mainly shite last season but we had a lot more luck.

JDT dropped Kaminski for Pears for the 2nd half of the season after his injury.
JDT didn’t rate Buckley or Travis and sent them away on loan.

The squad fundamentally aren’t suited to this style and what’s more it isn’t effective in the championship.

Do you really think JDT was really the only person behind those decisions?

    Wake up mate

  9. Any banner related to Venky’s Out or similar…stop fannying about with your fancy ideas. I’ve got my banner done already, it’s been out at the Wrexham game and it’s going to every home game I’m at from now on.

Newcastle game is the one to target. High profile, on TV against a huge Premier League Club, Shearer in the studio, what could be better?

Rubber Chickens on the pitch on 18 minutes, Pitch Invasion on 75 minutes and get the game stopped. Simple.

Maximum Impact, Maximum Exposure. That’s the only way now.

Only YOU done anything . ?

What about what Glen, Mark,  brag and others did ??

Did you march ? Sit in ? Protest outside 24 hours ? Brockhall when it was baltic ? Other things that won't be named on here ?

It's good you got a banner  every credit but don't spin it that it's just you ,it sounds like a kea@ thing to do.

Calm down I’m on about now not 10 years ago.

Not a whimper v Wrexham and barely a minor chant v Huddersfield. Let’s focus on the here and now, not argue amongst ourselves. I’m not trying to spin anything just telling it how it is right now

So you're demanding that others take action but won't be doing so yourself ?

I’ve printed out a 6ft banner that cost me £40 and it came out v Wrexham on Monday night on 85 minutes with the kind help of @Oldgregg86

I’ve done something positive and would do it again if I was able to make the game. Not seen anyone else do anything, apart from 1 minor chant in the Blackburn End v Huddersfield that died down very quickly!

It’s incredulous to me that other people on here won’t, despite the negative feelings towards Venky’s and yet another shambolic transfer window. The level of apathy is unreal.

Crystal Palace fans protested recently v Arsenal and they’re an established Premier League Club with some top class talent on their books and they’ve just signed one of our own, a generational talent to build a team around, a future Champions League & England player who didn’t really want to leave…and yet we’re the ones doing sod all. Incredible!

  12. Team for tomorrow. Hopefully Fazzy Bear is fit to start. This is based on what I saw v Wrexham - Garrett, Siggy and Moran don’t deserve to start after their weak performances against League 2 opposition and Atari can play 😉

Fingers crossed for the W but with the chaos currently engulfing the club I can’t say I’m confident!

‘Bodies in, some of the Adam money will be spent in the summer, the rest will help the club. What are you protesting about? Just get behind the lads FFS’

The naysayers can be silenced in an instant by telling them we were a Premier League Club when Venky’s took over. Tell them to go home, do some research and they’re more than welcome to join the protest when they’re more clued up.

Back yourself and what you believe in. Why are so many on here so opinionated but haven’t balls to put their money where their mouth is and actually TAKE ACTION?

I can’t make the QPR game as I’m away for the weekend but if there’s not even a minor voice of discontent from the fans we are well and truly f*cked!

JDT has been silenced, we’re the only ones left

    DO SOMETHING

  14. He’s fuming and I reckon likely to unleash his fury on the owners post-match, so as not to affect the team’s build up to a vital game

A sensible decision me thinks but one that further highlights the incredible chaos that is now the new normal at Blackburn Rovers FC

    Venky’s & Waggott OUT 🥀 🐔

Much as I’m unhappy about seeing Adam leave, the portrayal of him as some kind of victim, and being forced to leave, is bit of a stretch. He didn’t need to sign for CP and, as has been pointed out, his contract will set him up for life.

He didn’t need to go, it’s a good move for him and no player in their right mind would turn down a big contract in the Premier League. No-one is saying he’s a victim here.

But he clearly didn’t want to leave and he only left because the club NEEDED to sell him to prop our finances up whilst our cretinous owners are being investigated by foreign courts…what don’t you understand about that?

He’d still be here if we had any kind of ambition to progress. That’s what people are pissed off about. Wake up!

The sad thing is he's young enough for this to be all he's ever known.

The great club we once were was before his time.

Incorrect. Read his first interview for Palace and he references coming into the the club and being inspired by Samba, Santa Cruz, Ryan Nelsen.

We are a shadow of a team and players that good now and as long as we have these criminals in charge of our club, we will NEVER get back there.

Wake up people! This is the new normal. Selling once in a generation talent for peanuts in comparison to what he’ll be worth after only a handful of Premier League appearances. All for NONE of the money to be reinvested back into the playing squad and we’re now two home grown midfielders light and heading for League One either this season or next

The most powerful move is to get a game cancelled.

Minutes are irrelevant, get in the pitch and get the game cancelled.

Then get worldwide media coverage, and the reasons will be Venkys and the board.

Agreed, 18 minutes would be the time and then if the game isn’t cancelled for whatever reason do it again on 75.

Every fan who wants to join on the pitch with a bag full of feathers emptied everywhere  & a dozen eggs to be launched at the directors box!

  18. Did anyone in the ground actually see the banner brought out on 85 minutes and again after full time against Wrexham?

We were in Jack Walker Lower, on the Darwen End side in W03 close to the away team area.

Unfortunately I can’t make the QPR game but the Newcastle game is another great opportunity against another side with new owners who are present and care about the club they have bought! And let’s face it, we’ll likely get spanked so any protest is irrelevant to the team’s performance, which I am keen to protect as much as possible.

Needs more numbers and co-ordinated action in the ground. One relatively small 6ft banner, although a start, is nowhere near enough. It needs to be something that is cast iron guaranteed to get the attention of the directors box, JDT & the players and ultimately the national media.

I got my banner into the ground with no issues whatsoever and the stewards nearby weren’t interested at all. We had the banner up against the glass into the corporate section too at one point as a woman was filming on her iPhone.

A few dissenting comments nearby but @Oldgregg86 quickly put them in their place, telling them to go home and do some research on Venky’s! At full time a group of younger lads of Asian origin helped us hold up the banner at the front of the stand and were very much in support of Venky’s Out, saying they can’t believe this is the first time they’ve seen anyone protesting recently about our inept and absent owners. So the appetite IS there, even from younger people newer to the support.

Is anyone else actually going to do anything or just keep moaning about it on here and elsewhere online?

Inbox me if you would like to join the WhatsApp group I have set up to discuss further ACTION plans.

    His running levels are Dickov-like.

Only player I can think of who was actually fitter though would probably be C. Ronaldo.

High praise - Ronaldo is a machine and one of the greatest footballers of all time, not sure he runs as much as our Sammie though!

Top performance 🫡 he can definitely play at a higher level than the Championship, hopefully we can hang on to him for at least another season but can see him moving on in the summer.
