It's just drab isn't it. Home games there's no atmosphere and absolutely no reason for going. Away games we are toothless. Players want extra help, manager wants extra help. Owners won't give it. People on the board happy picking up the paycheck. It'll only get worse. Feel sorry for anyone connected to the club that wants well for the team, it's just not going to happen. Vote with your feet, vote with your pocket. It has to end.

The owners can't give it at the moment due to Indian tax law changes. There's an hearing in the last week of Janurary as to whether the Venkys can release funds for transfers.

Hats off to anyone who goes tomorrow, you're either super loyal, extremely bored or a bit simple. I've not felt so disillusioned for a long long time and today's transfer activity, if you can describe it as that, has done nothing to sway me!

You missed a decent Rovers performance, twice behind and won it 5-2 and a hat trick from Schmodics. We have players fit again towards the end of the month it could be the turning point at ending our dismal form.

  3. if Ainsley Pears had been goalkeeper yesterday, we would have won the game 2-1. Whaldsted is to small between the sticks, the first goal proved it, a header that was,nt that powerful looped over him into the top corner. The only good point was Sigurdssen and Schmodics on target again. We have been making the same mistake for a while now trying to cling on to a slender lead and the opposition put it in the back of the net late in the game. We need to learn how to finish a game off with a bit of daylight.

    We lost!

They scored more goals then we did.

Football is a simple game - too many feckers try to be clever and over complicate it.

What I can't understand, why has jdt left Ennis and Telovic on the bench when we have been playing  catch up against Swansea and Preston. I would have brought them both on the last 20 minutes against Preston.

Sadly, when the injured players return and some not until January onwards, I suspect all hope of making the top 6 will have gone as we will be too far adrift.  We will have paid the price for a paper thin and inexperienced squad.  This will not change until our owners decide to back JDT.  The more likely scenario is he will be gone long before next season kicks off.

I think somebody's put a curse on the Rovers squad, like last season and the season before, a dressing room full of injuries at the wrong time.

  6. Great performance from a team with lots of injuries. We were unlucky not to get something out of this game, after hitting the bar twice. Overall I thought Rovers were the better team on the night. Preston were very physical and should have had a few more of their players in the book. Well done Rovers, it gives us hope when the injured return after last night's performance.

Thanks for all your well wishes.  My heart is broken in two. I lived with her my whole life.  Losing my dad was shattering but losing my mum so soon Is 10 times that.  They say you only ever get one mother, that couldn't be truer. I hope time mends my heart slightly. I held her hand at her last breath.  An image that  will stay with me forever

Carbon copy of my life pal, My dad died of cancer and I stayed at home to look after my mum till I was well in my forties. When mum died my life ended for about a year. You will come to accept it in time, all the best for the future.
