JDTs biggest mistake of the Season, Whaldsted in goal. Watching him it's like a schoolboy between the sticks the size of him. If we don't get a result against Huddersfield next Saturday, it could be his downfall when the boos ring out and the chant turns to jdt out !!.

The biggest problem Rovers have at the moment, is Whalsted in goal he's far to small. We're cannon fodder while he's in goal. We have conceded an awful lot of goals since he took over from Pears. Let's get Pears back in goal starting against Q.P.R and Gallagher and JRC starting the match.

It's just drab isn't it. Home games there's no atmosphere and absolutely no reason for going. Away games we are toothless. Players want extra help, manager wants extra help. Owners won't give it. People on the board happy picking up the paycheck. It'll only get worse. Feel sorry for anyone connected to the club that wants well for the team, it's just not going to happen. Vote with your feet, vote with your pocket. It has to end.
The owners can't give it at the moment due to Indian tax law changes. There's an hearing in the last week of Janurary as to whether the Venkys can release funds for transfers.

something for the Rovers supporters to cheer about at last, a 5-2 win a hat trick from Schmodics and Siggurdsen and Leonard on the scoresheet. Could it be the new S.A.S at Ewood, Schmodics and Siggurdsen.

Cup run is probably the only thing we have to potentially look forward to this season, so obviously nice to progress. Just hope we can score enough to keep our heads above water in the league, as defensively we are nowhere near where we need to be.
I disagree, get a few wins under your belt and your heading towards the top 6.

Hats off to anyone who goes tomorrow, you're either super loyal, extremely bored or a bit simple. I've not felt so disillusioned for a long long time and today's transfer activity, if you can describe it as that, has done nothing to sway me!
You missed a decent Rovers performance, twice behind and won it 5-2 and a hat trick from Schmodics. We have players fit again towards the end of the month it could be the turning point at ending our dismal form.

Any news on the squad? Expecting any returnees getting some mins?
Would be good to see batty and gilsenen getting 90 mins
gallagher and 1 or 2 others could be returning at the end of this month.

if Ainsley Pears had been goalkeeper yesterday, we would have won the game 2-1. Whaldsted is to small between the sticks, the first goal proved it, a header that was,nt that powerful looped over him into the top corner. The only good point was Sigurdssen and Schmodics on target again. We have been making the same mistake for a while now trying to cling on to a slender lead and the opposition put it in the back of the net late in the game. We need to learn how to finish a game off with a bit of daylight.

Merry Christmas to all Rovers supporters, I haven't been on this site for a while due to illness, but I will be back at Ewood on Saturday hoping to see Rovers get back on track.

Great result for Rovers, but it will count for nothing if we don't get back to winning ways at Ewood.

Or Hill is just a good player.
I agree Hill is turning into a bargain buy for Rovers.

The gulf between the under-21's and championship football not a reason?
Didn't Ennis score at Ewood in a league cup tie against Walsall.

Both Telovic and Ennis on the scoresheet in Rovers 7-1 win against Preston for the under 21s, yet both absent in the 1-2 defeat against Preston at Ewood. Doesn't make sense to me.

Tough one, we usually come unstuck in the potteries. A point might be decent given the size of our injury list at the moment. What we need to do when we're back to full strength, is to turn it into fortress Ewood and make it very difficult for teams to get points here.

We lost!
They scored more goals then we did.
Football is a simple game - too many feckers try to be clever and over complicate it.
What I can't understand, why has jdt left Ennis and Telovic on the bench when we have been playing catch up against Swansea and Preston. I would have brought them both on the last 20 minutes against Preston.

Sadly, when the injured players return and some not until January onwards, I suspect all hope of making the top 6 will have gone as we will be too far adrift. We will have paid the price for a paper thin and inexperienced squad. This will not change until our owners decide to back JDT. The more likely scenario is he will be gone long before next season kicks off.
I think somebody's put a curse on the Rovers squad, like last season and the season before, a dressing room full of injuries at the wrong time.

Great performance from a team with lots of injuries. We were unlucky not to get something out of this game, after hitting the bar twice. Overall I thought Rovers were the better team on the night. Preston were very physical and should have had a few more of their players in the book. Well done Rovers, it gives us hope when the injured return after last night's performance.

We gave a good account of ourselves against Chelsea, it should up our game against Norwich after playing Chelsea. I bet we're regretting selling Kaminski after the errors we've seen from Pears and Waldsted. Personally I would bring Pears back against Norwich. Let's hope our walking wounded are back soon to strengthen Rovers squad soon.
-
Let's hope we put in a decent performance against Chelsea. It should raise our game for the next Championship match playing against them.

Just keep taking the pills.
Probably why he was misfiring, a fit Schmodics would have put his chances in the net.

Worst performance of the season I have seen at Ewood yesterday. We need to put this one behind us and put in a decent performance against Chelsea.

Some comments are saying we only need to turn up against Cardiff next Saturday, they are due a win against Rovers, we have beaten them the last 3 or 4 matches we have played against them at Ewood. I think we need to stay focused when we play them next week. I am predicting 4-0 to Rovers.

Thanks for all your well wishes. My heart is broken in two. I lived with her my whole life. Losing my dad was shattering but losing my mum so soon Is 10 times that. They say you only ever get one mother, that couldn't be truer. I hope time mends my heart slightly. I held her hand at her last breath. An image that will stay with me forever
Carbon copy of my life pal, My dad died of cancer and I stayed at home to look after my mum till I was well in my forties. When mum died my life ended for about a year. You will come to accept it in time, all the best for the future.

I meant signing him, you can't beat a keeper with a bit of height to cover all angles.
