  1. Exactly what happened at Ewood when Chris Basham makes his second yellow offence. Ref looks like he’s going to book him then drops his arse i know it’s annoying when teams do but why aren’t our players making it hard for the ref? Hedges should be looking like he’s hurt. Travis and Co should be in the refs face there, hate to see it but can’t beat em, join em
  2. My only guess for VAR not getting involved is because he slightly touches the ball but it’s still a yellow card tackle
  3. Having calmed down after what was a heartbreaking last ten minutes yesterday, I’ve got to say yesterday was a great game of football. Friends of mine who were neutrals were messaging saying what a great game it was for them. I thoroughly enjoyed yesterday, we put in a proper performance, on another day we hold out for the win. It just wasn’t meant to be sadly no matter how much we wanted it. Gallagher OG very unlucky, hedges hitting the post and somehow spinning away just past the other post. Foderingham kick out looked for all the world to go out of play but dropped on the line to Morton who went down. Another day that just falls out of play etc. Ref was very frustrating from both sets of fans from what I’ve seen on Twitter. Without VAR we never had a penalty, not one player around appealed or saw it. I think we were lucky and I’ve seen people drawing comparisons with Willians handball last night and they’re night and day apart. Yellow was right for Robinson but sadly like at ewood a couple weeks earlier, the refs bottled a second yellow decision for Sheff Utd. Compared to majority of away performances this season I thought we were a completely different team this last 6 weeks. We’ve been brave and took the game to the opponents. The players should be proud on the whole. Easy to slag Morton off, he did very well for Szmodics goal winning the ball and in fairness plenty of people had a chance to stop them after Morton went down, Diaz had a pathetic attempt of a block. One thing I think is we aren’t ruthless enough sometimes to just stop an attack and take a yellow card. Morton’s down, refs not stopping. Just put their player on the ground so we can regroup and stop play yourself before anything can develop! Players should be proud, they’ve been great and seem to have really clicked lately. Fan should be proud too, it’s a long time since I’ve been in a Rovers atmosphere like that, it was brilliant to be a part of and I just wish we could replicate that noise at Ewood
  4. Glad to see Mitrovic sent off, always been a first class c u next……
  5. I thought this. Gallagher looked very leggy to me most of this game. I do remember early doors him sliding they keeper while kicking and seeing him look like he was struggling for a couple mins so I wonder if that had any bearing
  6. I was sat right behind the goal and sadly the shot that Gallagher deflected in was going a mile wide as well. Heartbreaking and super unlucky
  7. Just got back and seen Robinson incident back. Wow how has he not seen red for that tackle on Hedges. Shocking
  8. Come on Rovers. Lets come out swinging like we did last round
  9. They’ll be able to count this score on one hand still
  10. If you didn’t love Haaland already, you certainly will now 💪
  11. Agree with this. Been so good since he came back into the squad
  12. One thing I’ll say in Gallaghers favour having gone to both Stoke and last night, in both those games he’s been winning most of his flick on headers which is something we’ve not really seen. I’m sure JDT who was a striker is working on Gallagher to develop him, I think he’s starting to get better and better. I know last night he should have had a hat trick but he’s certainly moving in the right direction. He played a great ball to Szmodics in the build up to first goal and also got the assist for Hedges
  13. Well done tonight. Should have put the game to bed but stuck in well after their equaliser and then a player went down and instead of walking off at nearest point after treatment walked 30 yards staying on the pitch to time waste before they then made 3 subs and wasted a good 3/4 minutes total (shambolic the ref allowed that) Stuck at it and got the job done. Proud of the lads tonight, showed courage to go get a winner after the equaliser and all those missed chances! Just seen the red back on the highlights and from that angle doesn’t look much in it but live with it about 10 yards right in front of me it wasn’t soft at all. Could see a mark on Gallaghers face from it
  14. Apparently he only had his scan yesterday. I asked Rich Sharpe about it yesterday and he said the scan was yesterday
  15. Anyone know what time general ticket sales become available today?
  16. Exactly, you could see at the game that he was bothered by how we played and what was going on on the pitch. He knows exactly what position we are in but won’t be putting pressure on the lads publicly talking about going up. I’m sure it’s downplay to the public but tell the boys we are in a great position and need to play well if we want to get in the play offs. Ive questioned JDT a few times this season and he’s always managed to prove me wrong so I’m going to back him. We usually have a fall off the face of the earth in Feb, last night was our first defeat since 14th Jan and we’ve knocked a premier league team with a fairly strong squad out of the FA cup in that time. The Stoke game has a lot of significance for me as my in-laws are Stokies and hate Blackburn but I’m not too alarmed by last night. We will have bad performances, that’s professional sport at the end of the day, that’s our first defeat in 12 games if I’m right? I think the fact we carried on at 3-0 down showed a lot of character and all of a sudden we almost got a draw from a game we had no right. The fans and the players suddenly had a belief and excitement the last 5 mins after we scored, I think the way we finished that game says a lot and can help the momentum going into Wednesday.
  17. Maybe Sorba Thomas? got to say, amazing what happens when we put a couple crosses in the box isn’t it
  18. Probs Gallagher or Szmodics? Could have changed the game. Either way it’s very poor from the ref. Just as poor him missing Hyams on Smallbone too
  19. 3 hours sat on m6 last night. Normal run would have had us home at 11.30 tops, didn’t get through the door till past 3am. 🤦‍♂️ going back through the game now…. Hyam was a stonewaller (knew that as I saw it at the time) but how has he not seen Gayle handball it when he’s right there? Not even an iffy one of his hand position, his arms go to the ball and are well away from his body and that must have been 10 yards from the ref with no one blocking his view. Penalty there could have got us right back in it before half time. We weren’t good enough but the ref has to give both of those. If I was that shit at my job I’d have my P45 and be on my way. Officiating has gotten so so poor in this league
  20. Not moved for over an hour on m6. What a night
  21. M6 northbound is shut now and we are just passed the last turn off before hitting the standstill traffic. Apparently it’s a bad crash so it puts the football in perspective.
  22. Yeah that’s how I saw it. Was just hoping it wasn’t a knee injury and maybe something else. He limped all the way round to our end where the dressing room is.
  23. Can anyone tell me what Buckleys injury looked like. It was at opposite end. Could see by his hands over his face he was genuinely hurt
  24. Not sure where we were for 85 minutes tonight. Not very good. Very glad we got 2 goals back and something to cheer at the end. Their goals were all poor from us especially the third someone’s gotta put a foot in. At the end of the day they wanted it more than us. Simple as that. Spare a thought for me in the car home with two Stoke fans now 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
  25. Couldn’t agree more with you there, people don’t know how to cope with it and also the highways agency don’t know how to cope with it and keep the roads passable. I believe most countries in Europe know how to keep going through snow
