Probs Gallagher or Szmodics? Could have changed the game. Either way it’s very poor from the ref. Just as poor him missing Hyams on Smallbone too -

3 hours sat on m6 last night. Normal run would have had us home at 11.30 tops, didn’t get through the door till past 3am. 🤦♂️ going back through the game now…. Hyam was a stonewaller (knew that as I saw it at the time) but how has he not seen Gayle handball it when he’s right there? Not even an iffy one of his hand position, his arms go to the ball and are well away from his body and that must have been 10 yards from the ref with no one blocking his view. Penalty there could have got us right back in it before half time. We weren’t good enough but the ref has to give both of those. If I was that shit at my job I’d have my P45 and be on my way. Officiating has gotten so so poor in this league -

M6 northbound is shut now and we are just passed the last turn off before hitting the standstill traffic. Apparently it’s a bad crash so it puts the football in perspective. -

Yeah that’s how I saw it. Was just hoping it wasn’t a knee injury and maybe something else. He limped all the way round to our end where the dressing room is. -

Can anyone tell me what Buckleys injury looked like. It was at opposite end. Could see by his hands over his face he was genuinely hurt -

Not sure where we were for 85 minutes tonight. Not very good. Very glad we got 2 goals back and something to cheer at the end. Their goals were all poor from us especially the third someone’s gotta put a foot in. At the end of the day they wanted it more than us. Simple as that. Spare a thought for me in the car home with two Stoke fans now 🤦♂️🤦♂️ -

Couldn’t agree more with you there, people don’t know how to cope with it and also the highways agency don’t know how to cope with it and keep the roads passable. I believe most countries in Europe know how to keep going through snow -

It is forecast to be a sunny afternoon with 3-4 degrees down in Stoke so hopefully it’s melts the snow. -

Think it’s worth noting that Pears had a shocker against Wigan but if every keeper let a performance like that break them then there probably wouldn’t be any keepers left. We’ve all seen every top keeper have a game like that, it happens. -

Will be travelling down with two ‘stokies’ (father in law to be being one of them). Really really hope we win or else I’ll never hear the end of the on the way home. They always seem to do well against us so I’m hoping to tables have turned and we take the 3 points home -

Ive been to most home games bar 3/4 and sit in the Jack Walker lower near the away dugout. Having been a season ticket holder during 2001-2010 I’ve seen ewood rocking many a time. Beating the likes of United, Chelsea, arsenal etc etc. I started coming back to Ewood the game after we got battered 7-0 by Fulham as I gave up a job where I spent most of the time abroad. I must admit it pains me how quiet the area I sit in is. All you hear are the away fans and every chant the BBE make if you try get it involved you get one or two join but everyone else sits there quiet as a mouse . I do think it’s extremely poor. I went to Blackpool away back in September and our fans were amazing, I know most championship clubs are quiet at home but it’s such a shame. I can understand JDT finding it annoying that the only time the crowd made any noise that day was when Dack warmed up. In fairness when clubs come and sing ‘is this a library’ I often laugh to myself because they’re not wrong sadly. -
Bradley Dack - Twist or Stick?
Crozzy replied to bigbrandjohn's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think it’s hard to say either BD, or BBD should come straight back in. I’ve always been a big supporter of Dack playing but the last 3/4 games the front 4 have been superb. Look at them going full pelt getting forward for Pickering’s goal yesterday, the press between the 4 of them, the energy running back after players yesterday. I think it’s a very hard to change the squad with the run we are on. I don’t think BBD provided anything when he came on for Dolan and his leg work getting back isn’t the same. I love BBD but he won’t put a foot in when he tracks back he just hovers around the player rather than trying to stop them -

It’s their job between two of them in close proximity to see it. Buckley has every right to speak up for his team mate -

Apparently not a booking. Disgusting refereeing. I’m sorry I saw it from 20 yards away and it is every bit as bad as I thought it was at the time. That referee should be punished. Seeing as no action was taken, can the FA punish like they did when Madine stamped on Travis? -

Wow watching the full game back on Sky Sport snow. That Basham tackle on Dolan early in second half wasn’t half nasty. Could easily have broken Dolans leg if his foot stayed planted -

I’ve had my doubts about JDT but he certainly seems to be getting the best out of a few players -

One thing I’ve noticed from Dolan. He seems to have more end product now but he certainly has improved physically, I know his small in stature but he’s putting his body about more and like someone mentioned above, shielding the ball with his body. Really impressed with him the last few weeks -

Great performance today, thought we were really up for it! Looks like we’ve got right and spirit back which is great! Great goal as well, thought we deserved to score another and thought we did well to keep them at bay. we seems to have clicked really well as a side with the football JDT wants to play. Much better transitioning from defence through midfield now. Sheff Utd a bunch of dirty c***s, ref was poor letting them away with a lot. Couldn’t believe the one on Pickering didn’t even get a booking. Was right Infront of me, he went studs up straight down Pickering’s shin. Well done Ryan Hedges for throwing that towel away, how we even allowed that towel to be placed there at our home ground is beyond me and how we let it go for 35 minutes is a joke special mention to my friend who jumped up a couple rows behind us to the older gentleman who collapsed and helped give CPR, thankfully the guy came round soon after and walked away with the medics -

You mention the Wharton bros…. I believe some of the speculation aboutA.Wharton’s fall out to be true. I was at the Dack chat on Thursday night and someone asked if he was unhappy not starting at Burnley. Said he was but expected it because he’d not been playing much. Said something along the lines of ‘there were a couple who were a lot more unhappy than me to not be playing’ and someone shouted out the Wharton brothers. Can’t remember his exact reaction to that but everyone knew exactly what he was implying
