Fair in relation to compromising. I personally don’t think it’s 500k is what I’m getting at. Ipswich are newly promoted and have banked millions they just loaned Phillips and looking to loan broja. If they are digging their heels in over 500k then they don’t really want the lad that’s how I view it as if they really really wanted him and Nixon is right about the 500k that would have been resolved by now. So for me anyway I don’t believe that 500k is the sticking point I think his figures are wrong

Nixon specified 500k I cannot for the life of me see that as being the stumbling block for a newly promoted club

The consensus from Leeds fans is that whilst their rate szmodics he’s not what they need in terms or replacing Summerville and Rutter that playmaker role. If farke changes tactics then would be a good move for him but they are looking someone who can open the game up

Broja is or will be a loan move no way Ipswich are paying 30million for him they would probably have to pay a significant enough loan fee i cant see broja going there tbh

Nobody knows facts at all it’s all speculation from unverified sources (and by that I mean not from a rovers reporter or Ipswich reporter) where did the 500k come from has Elliot or bayes confirmed that? Or is that Nixon (who has got more right this season granted but negotiations wise I’m not sure he would know much) - it’s irrelevant though we have asked for a figure it hasn’t been met how/why not sure but Iv said from the outset if Ipswich really want him then pay they have the money

Your buying into Ipswich side of things too much we have a value Ipswich haven’t met it. Don’t think there’s much more in it than that really. They had multiple sources saying about hamer agreeing terms etc there’s a lot of misinformation going about from their end

Two different players really szmodics is the arrive late and score sort of wing forward/10 - rutter is the creative type who gets on the ball a lot 16 assists last season more than szmodics whole career so depends on what Brighton are looking for. For the record I don’t think he’s done enough in his career to warrant that price tag but that’s football these days and fair play to his agent for getting that in the contract

Depends how he does really if he literally tears it up for me it’s a win win. If he fails to do anything then rovers would be proven right to send him out then?

I think reading between the lines Eustace is wanting to operate a smaller quality over quantity squad compared to years gone past. He has mentioned 4 more in and that’s after o’riordan markanday vale possibly going. Dodgy tactic but seems to be how it’s going to play out
