If it was as easy as that all clubs would have transfers done within 24/48 hours. Reality is clubs are businesses and they will penny pinch in every way possible until they find middle ground. We should be a different team this time round a lot more solid/structured. The 4-0 game Garrett and morton were the midfield 2. Travis and tronstad will sure that up. Vale dack hedges 3 infront of them lacks mobility add Dolan markanday and Sammie in there gives us a good press. Doesn’t guarantee anything but it’s a different team altogether than the last time we visited. I do agree though the height is still a concern wba under manager didn’t utilise that for them he was happy to play on the deck, I suspect Saturday will be different but certainly nothing to fear.

It’s great seeing how other rovers fans see how players performed outside of the obvious standouts. I think subconsciously fans have favourites and edge a bit of bias towards/against some players. Markanday and dolan namely the two so many contrasting views on how they performed today. For me both positions are up for grabs but a goal for markanday will do his confidence no harm def has a lot to improve on and dolan his work rate cannot be faulted but his final contribution decision making needs to be better

Pickering was excellent today not sure if you just don’t fancy him as the starting Lb (which is fair enough as many other agree) but today not a foot wrong defensively
