Dolan won’t get a championship deal at another top club, he’ll panic and sign for someone like Cardiff on the last day of a window. The same was said for Nyambe when he was here and he ended up at Wigan. All bite and no bark, we seem to judge players here on their ability to work hard when it’s the bare minimum, if you want to get out of this league you have to have quality. None of our attacking players have any. I’ve lost count of how many wingers we’ve played against this season where I’ve thought ‘how have these got better wingers than us?!’

We’ve been worse in every game Buckley has been subbed on in, than before he’d come on. Gives stupid fouls away every game, kills all momentum with 5/6 touch passes, get rid.

Transfers do take time, they’ve had 4 months to get them lined up.

Looks like a Liam Delap type player, could be a savvy investment for somebody. Already scored in the Europa league.

Yeah he was eventually offered a ‘big’ contract by our standards in the summer that he left. It was upwards of 20k a week but not sure exact figures. Easily beaten by Boro mind. He wanted to stay the entire time, the talks were opened in the January of that year but after that initial offer it was game over really.

Just a point on Suhail, straight from the horses mouth, the reason Lenihan didn’t sign his bumper contract at Rovers was because of ‘those two cunts in the ivory tower who expect you to kiss their shoes as you walk in’. Will let you decide which two people that is. Everything from renewals, to match day expenses go through him. On a funnier note, their initial contract offer to him was for less money than he was currently on, but with an extra year on it (4) compared to what he wanted (3) and they tried to spin it as him being better off because of it.

But Eustace Owen and Rudy all agreed it and know what we need so everyone needs to shut their mouths.
