  1. As I said earlier in the week, 74 points for playoffs. Lose this weekend and we’re needing 10 wins and 2 draws from 17 games. Then a local derby against in form Preston, lose that and it’s 32 points needed from 16 games. 2 points a game is automatic promotion form. They have fucked us over, again. Searching for the ‘right players’, whatever that even means is Nirvana. It wouldn’t be hard to bring in a midfielder that’s better than Adam fucking Forshaw. We need, and needed, bodies in the building.
  2. The guy really is insufferable, a true fucking nob head.
  3. It’s not that deep is it. Suhail is killing it in the owners eyes. Finished just outside relegation last season, now sat 5th. Less money needed from Venky’s due to sales, few big away attendances and a sell out vs Burnley. Looks good from a distance eh?
  4. Fell through as they wanted him permanently apparently
  5. Correct me if I’m wrong @K-Hod but are the questions not vetted before hand and then answers prepped with no opportunity for follow up questions? If so, is there really much point in the fans forum? All the minutes I’ve read thus far strike me as the meetings being purely box ticking exercises
  6. I remember him refusing to play against Wigan so he got his Villa move.
  7. He’s the worst we’ve had
  8. ‘What am I meant to do?’ Says the Rovers ‘journalist’.
  9. The worst bit of tonight was that they could well be the worst team to ever beat us at Ewood, they’re absolutely shite 🤣
  10. They’re cunts, I’ll finish it for you. Complete and utter cunts.
  11. I’m sorry JRC is one of the worst footballers I’ve ever seen play for us. He is absolutely fucking awful. Can’t run, can’t pass, can’t shoot, can’t defend.
  12. My mood has somehow gotten worse
  13. Someone pick the positives out of that, 4 more in the treatment room. Get that fucking useless cunt CEO out of our club. He can take his puppet Gestede with him.
  14. Call me a pessimist, but that 11 wouldn’t get out of league one, we’ve turned the barrel over and scraping the underside now 🤣
  15. Agreed Neal, and I’d say it’s because he has to!
  16. On Cantwell, a luxury player that performs when the environment is right for him. He’s looked at his best playing passes in behind the back line. Our current predicament? Nobody is fast enough to get on the end of them, or more to the point, even bothers trying to get in behind. Couple that with 2 midfielders who despite being solid, never look up and pass forwards in Trav and Tronstad, I’m not sure how a player like him fits in with us. Might be one we have to chalk off as a poor fit, depending how the next 4 months go. Could imagine him playing the number 10 role at Burnley with Koleosho, Sarmiento, Anthony etc. running in behind fullbacks and looking like a class above the championship. Same at Leeds with Gnonto and James. There’s no doubt there’s a good player in there, we’re just not seeing it.
  17. Rubbish, of course it matters when you sign them. Average points to be a playoff team recently is 74. We need 10 wins and 2 draws from 19 games to do that. We’ve already lost a very winnable game at the weekend due to lack of options and poor recruitment. We have 4 more games before the end of the window, if we lose them 4 due to squad depth, that then leaves us needing 10 wins and 2 draws from 15 games. Season over at that point.
  18. How much later can you wait than 3 weeks into the window? Shoddy, pathetic, embarrassing recruitment from all involved. Again.
  19. Teams around us are now spending money and strengthening, even West Brom have spent best part of £3mil on a midfielder! Looking forward to Chaddy’s reasoning for that, good players only become available later in the window?
  20. Doesn’t really matter as it’s only a good signing if your manager, DoF and Head of recruitment all agree on it!
  21. Club PR, he’s out for 8 weeks
  22. 53 points… a bit like winning an award for being the worlds tallest midget 🤣 He’ll have stiff competition for any other job and maybe he would get another yes. I’m more talking about if he’d get a job that’s ‘better’ (I know) than this one. For example, if Swansea or Cardiff appointed him.. is that any better in career progression? Just got to be careful he doesn’t get a reputation as a manager you get when you’re in trouble.
  23. JDT was the one, a striker away from promotion and an FA Cup semi final. Played the best football in the league and would’ve won the playoffs for my money. What they did to him and us that season was absolutely criminal.
