I did point out how bad his previous club had been Coventry, how they had been to hell and back.
However when they cashed in on players this season they actually gave the manager a workable budget to actually have a go.
I questioned his "play it safe attitude" and if it was hindering progression . I pointed out Bournemouth had a real go for promotion in theJanuary window, and although not all were successes, they actually achieved the goal of promotion.
I said the lack of ambition is there for all to see, and at no point has he given me a reason to why I or anyone else should attend, apart from our blind loyalty to the badge
What was his response to this? Did he give any sort of emotive response or just appear disinterested?

19. JDT contract - it is a 3 year deal with no talks of a new contract planned at this stage, he is ambitious. We asked why JDT thinks he was sold a pup? He reiterated that its the same job as its always been with no pressure on league position. Its always been about developing and trading regardless of financial restrictions this summer.
I cant get my head around why any club and CEO would state this to the manager and fans. There is literally no point in turning up if this is the case unless you see the entire clubs existence as nothing more than a business to make some money.Sooner this guy is out the better. Cant tell me Ipswich etc have a much bigger income than us yet somehow seem to have ambition.

Any ambitious club at our level or higher would have Tomasson on their wish list.
I would not be surprised if there were murmurings of Sunderland being interested.
Also pretty sure JDT would be keen to speak to anyone with a bit of ambition. Other than our top notch academy, there's not much going for the current job.

Shows the stark contrast to a club with a proper board that holds a manager to account....and us. The months long death spirals are just not tolerated at other clubs. Bang average at best manager that has been fairly quickly found out again once leaving here.
If you remember Waggots comments in the summer that theres no pressure on JDT to achieve anything. This basically means JDT could have the same spirals and keep his job. Luckily JDT appears a lot more driven than Melton Mowbray ever was.
Were going no where under the current club structure.

Need to get out of sight early on in this one. If its a tight game and we need to use that bench we'll struggle.
Maybe time for telalovic to finally get going in 2nd half....
-
Think he will play the same side that ended the game against Birmingham. Didnt see the game but we scored three once we went with a CF up top and put brittain back at right back.
Id like to see Siggy get a start. Would be ace if he could find some of his early form.

Birmingham will likely sit in deep and try and counter us with a direct style of play, well they should do as we struggle against teams sitting deep with big lads up top. Cant see much space for the Szmodic runs in behind so probably a game where an actual striker is needed to poach around the box...not that we have anyone of note to do that!

Think its time we started playing with a striker again. Ennis must be ready for a game, if fit I'd have him over Leonard at the moment (admittedly based on only a couple of cup games). We could do with some physicality in the side. I'm also not convinced by Wharton at the moment, from what I've seen.

This is a var shambles.
Worst invention in the history of the game for me. Completely killing any momentum emotion or excitement.

You could see this happening from about 70 minutes onwards. Preston happy to sit back and lump it up to their big lads knowing well panick at the back.
Naive to give the ball away on edge of our box. That's a team full of young lads for you.
Had enough chances to have been out of sight.
Also not sure why some people think Wharton is a big deal. Looks Buckley like to me

With JRC out for 12 weeks Im sure we will see a recall for John Buckley 1st of january for sure.
id forgotten about him. Hes not done anything of note at Sheff Weds. Cant see him coming back into the fold to be honest but maybe as a squad filler. Not sure his attitude would be that great for that role however.
We may see Szmodic drop deeper with Ennis and Siggy starting more in the meantime. Shame Siggs form has nosedived after a great start.
-
Surely Ennis has been training for long enough to be fit enough for a start. Weve been doing well last couple of games but long term we need to start playing with a striker. Surely Swansea at home is as good a chance as any to bring him back.
Other than that and Hyam, it will be pretty much the same team.
-
No surprises to see the same side. Not a lot of pace going on. Can see another scrappy game rather than the end to end of last month.

Would like to see Ennis start for this and then go off in the second half if needed. Similar to how we went with Sigurdsson. Hes been back in training long enough now, unless his fitness really is bad. Brittain is a better player than Pickering, even if out of position.

I think on Paper thats our most balanced side at the moment. Maybe Dolan for Moran given his last two games.

Will do very well to keep hold of Sigurdsson. I suspect other sides will already be taking note. No idea what the contract situation is for next year.

Give telalovic or ennis some game time.
-
Injury? Sounded like he did OK in that half.
-
Strange couple of changes there. Dolan definitely a favourite of JDT. Not convinced bt that side
-
Desperate for a win and to start forming a solid defense. Think JDT has to start going a bit more cautious. I also think he has the players to do this. I'd go...

Amazed at some of the comments on here. Obviously not watching the game. It was a good strike, a follow up and a dodgy referee decision.
The fact we are shit upfront and Siggurdson missed a one on one isn't on the managerDelete..quoted the wrong post

Just wow! Genuinely feels like we're gonna be fighting near the bottom this year. It's gone from a few unfortunate results to a worrying normal.
Teams just have to keep it tight against us knowing we'll capitulate to any sort of pressure.
-
I'd chuck ennis on for last 20 mins. He looked handy before his injury. Move Sami further back

Game over. As it stands that's 15 goals conceded in the last 6 games. Relegation form currently.
JDT needs to work out how to make us more compact. Not looking great on him atm albeit with a limited squad.

Was an even game until the second goal. Midfield and defence wasn't much in it but the forward line is a different league including the options they have off the bench. The speed and penetration of the Leeds forwards compared to ours was massive.
Results against Leeds, Leicester etc won't make a playoff challenge...but backing it up woth a loss against Sheffield weds makes it a terrible week.
