Neekoy you over arrogant b*****d. It really annoys me how earlier on you were complianing about us and here you go again. A right d******d.
And just wondering, if you can "still dig deep when you need to" where was this against England in the 20/20? Or against England and Bangladesh in the first two one day games? You played well, we played badly, simple as. Just don't be such a hypocrite.
Ha Ha, Eddie it is all meant in jest. Don't get your panties in a twist, friendly banter mate. It's all about the bragging rights.
Thanks to the lads who pointed out my spelling mistake, fixed
I didn't include the 20/20 game because, as far as I am aware (correct me if I am wrong), the game does not maintain the status of international cricket as there is no ranking or international recognition of any 20/20 systems in stats.
Even if England win I will still be keeping a running scoreboard in my sig.
-
Good win by Australia, the best thing is that after an 8 week break from playing any cricket we can still dig deep when we need to.
It will be a good test for the English to see how they handle pressure
My prediction is they will fold like yesterdays freshly pressed panties

HAHAHAHAHA!!!! So much for the boycott, silly manc fools
-
Good win by the English, now if they could only do the same thing in 500 over cricket they would be world beaters.......
They should call it 20/20 slog
-
I still don't see England getting anywhere close, should be a good series though. Even just for the tabloid headlines after England get smashed in the first test.
-
Australia 5-0

Even the "old" clubs are not steeped in history to which English football is. They may have old ties to the area, but Green Bay didn't march to Chicago in some way to settle old feuds or land disputes as in the violent history of our game.
My point was that his game has developed in the streets where Rovers and Dingles stabbed each other for fun. Not teams built for media enterprise and making money.

I see a HUGE difference is mentality between American sport and the Premier League
NFL teams can just about chop and change location every year depending on demographic or where there is money to be made
There is no history behind the clubs when comparing to the local argy bargy of soccer. I really think Glazer thinks he is going to run this like an NFL team, which will ultimately fail because of how clubs build their upporter base.

You obviously don't have pigheaded scouser friends then
Yes I agree it was a good match to watch, but it is a poor reflection that the number 1 european club only finishes 5th in the domestic league.
This crap also about Liverpool defending their title next year is a rort, european qualification should be something that is earned over 38 games of tough grinding domestic competition.
-
Personally I would support Blackburn if they were based in Beirut, I love the club and everything it stands for
This is a totally different situation to supporting an "english" team in Europe
If it was reversed and Rovers had just won, I would say the say thing to Liverpool supporters if they went for Rovers because they were "english"
-
Even though they have done jack for 20 or so years, now we get another 20 years of "best club in England" crap
-
I just don't get it
If it was such a bad purchase why would he have made it?
Is it he doesn't understand the rules behind the FA? How does he think he is going to come out on top of this? He is obviously very business astute.
-
And Crespo has an italian passport
At least they had 6 home grown talent in their squad, Liverpool are full to the brim with foreign players
I just don't understand how people can support them for the " they are english" arguement
-
You guys support them because they are British?
How many English where playing...2!!!!!!
At least the italians had a majority of italians in the team
-
Maybe we can have a general room name in private
Rovers Room or something like that, so we know who we should me looking at
-
If Liverpool score an early goal it is all over, Pool 1-0
If they have to attack to peg one back then they will get done.... 3-1
-
Has anyone changed their feelings about this signing?
I will give him another 6 months, but I still don't think he is the right man for the job

If you wanted to save a bit more cash, This One is £571. That is a P4 3Ghz, 1GB Ram, XP Home, 160GB Hard Drive, 17" TFT Screen and DVD Writer.
I went for the one Biddy recommended above in the end. Got the PC and a laser printer for around £680. Thank you everyone for your advice.
Oh, and I now don't want to know if I could have got a better pc cheaper somewhere else.
It appears from the link you bought the last one anyway!!!

So I suppose the question is, where Souness goes from here?
If he stays at Newcastle, how does he turn the fans and player confidence around?
and
If he goes, what club in their right mind would take him on?

I think we will probably be part of a European "Super" League set up
It will have all the richest and successful clubs in it
From England it will be probably Rovers, Liverpool, Man Utd and possibly Wolves
Shearer will still be with us, probably as player manager

I still think Liverpool should sell him, he has expressed a desire to leave the club to move to a club he believes has ambition and will win trophies. How will he be next year if Liverpool finish empty handed? Then they will not get anywhere near the 32 million offered
