I hope they fall into a heap
I still see a BIG difference between this and the Chelsea buy out. Abromovich is having success on the field, the Mancs are not. This is what makes a brand to the rest of the world and with David Beckham the only reason Mancs have had such commercial success.
Let all the greedy pigs eat and eat and eat till their gullets are stuffed full of money and it chokes them

Go and play Mousetrap and stop wasting everyones time

well soccer in general really, but I watched last season and Rovers finished really high up the table so I though we would be specials to win it this year for sure!!
Not that I have looked at the Rovers history at all but surely we are looking at top 2 finishes for the next decade with the team we got hey!!
Man I am glad I picked Rovers YEP no dissapointment for me. My mate follows Chelsea WHAT A LOSER!!! HA HA
Anyone think this Google thing is going anywhere on the Intraweb?

I think Zidane has been linked with Juventus, apparently they need a squad player as cover for Ciro Ferrara and Jugovic
I don't rate him though, if I was Uncle Jack I would do whatever it took to sign Dino Baggio, he had a cracker in the 94 WC final!!

Looks like I finally found a tactic that works with ever team I have tried it with!!!
Started with the games attacking 4-5-1, then, moved around with attacking midfielders sitting deep with runs straight forward and defensive midfielders in behind. Then changed player instructions to defaults for position and changed tackling to hard and ticked close marking and counter attack. I have tried this with four teams now and came second with Rovers and won the league cup, won the league and champions league with Chelsea, came second in the Serie A with Inter and made the final of Champions League AND tried it with West Ham and was promoted. Finally starting to get somewhere!!
The layout for Rovers looked like this.
Crespo
MGP Thompson Emerton
Savage Mokoena
Gresko Todd Amoruso Neill

My response from the Gaurdian regarding my letter about the Semi Final report.
I wonder if they have a generic response button?
Thank you for your letter regarding Paul Wilson's match report.
Your letter is currently being considered for publication, however due to
the volume of letters which the desk receives every week please do not be
disappointed if it is not featured on this occasion.
Once again, thank you very much for taking the time to write to us.
Yours sincerely,
Victoria Barrett

Neill was at fault for all 3 goals. That is not good in my book, not good at all.
insert :smiley with tongue poking out mocking this statement:
Neill was in the top three players on the field
-
I would encourage all on here to do the same.
Done...
As a Blackburn supporter I was very disappointed to read the latest article by The Observer on our semi-final against Arsenal. The one-sided and tabloid nature of the journalists reporting left me thinking I was reading the Sun and not a supposed leader in journalistic integrity. Ever since Mr Hughes has taken the helm of the club we have been the target of tabloid papers for our tough approach to our premiership survival. In direct reference to the article, it was a shame that the only mention of Arsenal's constant diving was a brief "although Arsenal were not blameless, sometimes going down too easily and looking for a free-kick from every tackle". Where is the barrage of negativity towards the Gunners for this black spot on the game? Not one yellow card was handed out for these "play actors" antics.
I would suggest your journalist has more of a fine talent for creative writing then news articles.
For the record, for all of Blackburns dirty play, we still only led the yellow cards 4 to 3.

Forgive me if I missed anyone who posted about our dissallowed goal.
Dickov was not off side. after seeing the replay his lobbed goal in the first half was incorrectly ruled off-side by the Dicked, oops refs assistant.
Im suprised that our resident armchair muppet, how suggested that Todd should be banned, didnt see it.
It hit the post anyway

Hughsey I am struggling with the tactic mate.
Am playing with Aston Villa and fought relegation last year and am on the bottom of the table this year. I have tried tweaking but nothing appears to be working.
Thanks anyway mate, I just think I am sh*t

I thought Neill was at fault for all 3 goals.
Yeh of course he was
Nelson should have got a better look on the first
Van Persie is class
Rovers had given up the goose
Wenger had to swap Pires because Neill was all over him
That young bloke flogged his guts out for us today, definately in our top three players today

I will give it a crack tonight, it is so bloody hard to get a good tactic to last you the season
My favourite was to use a four four two attacking diamond and I was killing it, then running into the last 15 games I couldn't take a trick and couldn't win a game to save my life
I will give yours a burl and see if I can get a consistent season
-
I seem to of got a tactic that works. I was at 1st the barcaleno manager, after two seasons my reputation was world class. I then left to take up a job at newcastle and half way through my 1st season there i got offered the england Job.
So far out of 169 games in total in all competitions with all teams, iv only lost 19.
I play a counter attack, play offsides and iv got it so that all the team closes down and tackles hard.
I play a 3-1-4-2 formation and it seems to work with all players. Iv also got a few arrows pointing players to run in certain places.
So far iv won the league two times in a row with Barcalona, and a cup. In the 1st season in the league i scored 105, conceded 25. 2nd season i scored 111 goals and conceded 19.
Then went to Newcastle and finished 4th in my 1st season. Ended my 1st season as 2nd top scorers with 80 goals. Now im getting ready for my 2nd season in charge.
With England iv played 4, won 4, Scored 22, conceded 1
Can you please send me your tactic please, this sounds good

He is not dirty, he may be a liar, a cheat, a dirty player, but he is definately not a porn star

Platini is against technology
-
This is becoming a joke, "You can't afford to have Real Madrid and Manchester United - big clubs who invest so much money - going out in the last 16."
Why is that Mr Wenger, because your not good enough to get your team there under normal circumstances?
Being guaranteed champions league through domestic comps not good enough?
As Monaco proved you don't need massive investment to make it big, I can't wait until Platini comes in and changes it to a 256 team knockout

He inherited an excellent set of players, especially attacking wise yet there has been little improvement in their league position. The cup form has masked this. He's signed two very average players so far and will be losing his main goalscorer and captain at the end of this season.
Said it all for me, it will be all good until he sells Robert to buy 35 year old Neville Strongbottom from Rangers Reserve
When Shearer retires Newcastle will plummet, now unless Souness gets 20 million to spend on *Chunky Trebie're the Sudanese striker from Bastia then all is gone from then and he will be jobless by mid next year
*Please note there is no such player as Chunky, I was being sarcastic in regard to the Souness spending habits

At least Maggies leave you alone once you are out of their territory or on the ground bleeding
I once saw my friend being attacked by three plovers and he had to pull his dirtbike over him on the ground to stop them hammering him
Toughest birds south of cassowary country
But don't get me started on the vile blood lusting devil bird that is the cassowary

Obviously no one here has ever had the pleasure of meeting a plover during nesting season

I hope Martin O'Neill does get it, he is crap

It is getting shown on TV over here next Tuesday, I guess that means your Monday night?

I would just rathera restructuring of European competition to spread some dollars around. I don't think that teams in the champions league should need to redistribute their funds, it would be like us having to do it with our FA cup winnings.
I hope they bring the Champions League back to being the champions of the domestic leagues.
Winner - Champs League
2,3,4 - Uefa Cup
Domestic Cup Winner and League Cup Winner - Cup Winners Cup
Fair Play - Uefa Cup
Scrap the Intertoto
More chances for clubs to play in Europe, more emphasis on domestic cups
-
In the other game tonight, Lyon thrashed a woeful Werder Bremen 7-2. It's not the biggest ever win in the Champions League though - last season Monaco beat Deportivo 8-3.
It look like the same margin to me
Hi, I Have Just Started Following Rovers
in I Can't Believe It's 1994/95
Posted
Sure Man Utd have had a good couple of years but I really think we are ready to take the world stage.
I was thinking of a couple ideas about a Rovers marketing strategy to help grow the income
I know this is probably a silly idea being a british game but what about if we marketed Blackburn in Asia?
I am probably going to get laughed off the board though
