Went to Vermillion a couple of times with my boss who knows them well....Its a Thai and Indian style ..Used by some City And Man U players.(nani..SW Philips..)..Very popular and well liked by everyone who goes but you pay that bit more for the nice atmosphere..Used to have a Sunday lunch bargain buffet but these things change..Have a website showing the latest offers..
-
The all you can eat style buffets prob have the best english..Tai Wu next to Macdonalds on Oxford Road is one.No 1 Oriental buffet is another..The Yang Sing is prob the most famous trad Chinese Restaurant..but the fun of China town is walking around it (Faulker steet, where to Gate is, has the most)..Best to take yor time just looking at all the different restaurants and outside menus then just going for it. picking one you like the look of.(if its busy it must be good)Avoid Shezuan style restaurtants unless you like hot..On the edge of China town if you dont fancy Chinese.is the Bank.About 15+ different styles of sausages http://www.manchester.com/restaurants/details/602/the_bank.html..

The Wagamama I refer to,just noticed,is the one on Deangate which is a Japanese noodle bar not the Printworks one..Really tasty stuff..Recommend
-
Go the the Wagamama about every other month and like it.but then there are several of us and having company makes a difference possibly.Others I like in the area for pre/post concert nosh are The Bank and the Grinch basically cos of you get such good stuff for about £6-£10 and theres happy hour prices of course..

Favorite Events of The past..0-2 down against Plymouth and winning 5-2 halting their record unbeaten run of about 28 games or so..The Debuts of David better long range passer than Beckham Wagstaff and Gordon PFA Talyor at West Brom away..Think it was 2-2 ...Intro of Kenny Beamish and his famous Beamo shooting.Lets just say Pigeon numbers on the Darwen end roof fell dramatically that year .
-
Genuinely Scarly.Films.with a touchable a realism... Best has to be Wolf Creek..A must see if you fancy a trek in the Australia Outback..

[Archived] Hooligans Yet Again
JC4LAB replied to soueyisgod's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Remember the late sixties/early seveties..fans passing each other in the Riverside to change ends at half time or maybe at the start. It was with Lecicester the first time I saw it kick off.in the ground..Near that time Burnley tried to rip the Darwen end road off.(it could have been asbestos then... Tee hee.)Hardly the good old days of good behaviour.. -
Anyone seen and have any views on Gomorrah?
