  1. "People drive fast, people have admitted to speeding on this board and you know what, if they are speeding they are just as likely to cause an accident which might seriously injure someone. Why? BECAUSE THE FASTER YOU GO THE LONGER IT TAKES TO REACT, FOR THE VEHICLE TO STOP AND THE MORE ENERGY YOU WILL PASS TO WHOEVER YOU HIT. There are also issues on people misjudging oncoming speed and pulling out in front of you. Their fault, but if you were going slower, you'ld be able to stop in time or at least reduce the impact damage......"

The above irrelevant load of tripe is typical ...

Go on , Flopsy ...tell me you've never drove above the speed limit and then I'll stop taking the pi$$ out of your sanctimonious drivel :tu:

More sanctamonious than the drivel ASEF keeps coming up with?

NOW WITH EXTRA LARGE HEADLINES SO PEOPLE NOTICE HIM?

  2. Another loathsome footballer....

    _42775553_ashley_sestanovich_met220.jpg

The player above is the former Sheffield United and Grimsby Town player Ashley Sestanovich, who has been found guilty of conspiracy to rob and sentenced to eight years in prison for an incident where a man was shot dead.

Sestanovich played just 20 minutes in a pre-season friendly for Grays Athletic - but the non-league club has now been ordered by the FA to pay this jailed criminal £14,000 within the next 14 days. If the club doesn't pay, then Grays Athletic face being suspended from all football. I can't understand this ridiculous judgment.

As the Grays Athletic chairman said today: "I am bitterly disappointed in The FA's judgment. We are being forced to pay approximately £14,000 to a player who only had three training sessions and 20 minutes in a pre-season friendly due to his involvement in a heinous crime which saw a young father shot in cold-blood."

I hope that Grays Athletic stand by their principles and continue to refuse to pay this loathsome creature any money. If the club is suspended from football because of refusing to pay this criminal, then it just reinforces what a crazy world we live in.

Link: Grays Athletic face suspension from all football unless they pay criminal £14,000

They have to pay him because:

The FA said because Sestanovich was arrested after he signed for Grays, the club were obliged to honour his contract until he was actually convicted of an offence, under contract law.
But other than that I'm sure they can get him for breach of contract. Is anyone else more worried by the fact that a non-league side can afford to pay someone £14k for 5 months work?
  3. What does it matter which particular area of the country is to blame? Surely any decent British citizen who cares about being able to go about their lawful business on the streets of this country should be appalled at any and all of these reported incidents. Why waste time and energy arguing amongst ouselves about which area is worse than another area? Simply condemn them all for what they are: drunken, uncivilised louts who if the politicians had any balls at all would be properly dealt with in a way that would not only deter them for ever more, but would send an unambiguous message to all others thinking along these lines.

    From the BBC report

"I saw a load of men, probably in their 50s, on phones and it was obvious they were planning something, then it all kicked off."

Hooliganism has aged it appears, the thugs from the 80's and early 90's have grown old, not up. I'd love to know what the average age of people arrested for football related violence is, im guessing its late 30's.

From what I've seen from going to the football, is that the young chavs are usually all mouth and no trousers, its the older ones (30+) that are the hardcases.

  4. hardly thugs, more idiotic morons. As for the Cov and Leicester fans, well they are quite renowned for having a large hooli following.

Also I dont remember you kicking up "SCOUSE THUGS" when the Liverpool fans attacked Alan Smith's ambulance the other year.

And that cov article's from the 24th February, how far back do you want to drag up stories from?

How about this "LANCASHIRE THUGS" Clicky

    Or this

  5. Secondly, no, I don't believe that Oldham FC should have employed him after his incredibly reckless selfish actions - where in the judge's words he showed a "callous disregard" for the victims.

We're not talking about a guy who failed to pay for a parking ticket or went 5mph above the speed limit. We're not talking about a guy who stole sweets from Woolworths when he was a kid. Lee Hughes was convicted of causing death by dangerous driving and of selfishly running away from the scene - clearly a very serious crime in most people's books.

When Oldham welcomed Lee Hughes to Boundary Park, I feel that Oldham FC insulted not only the victims in Hughes's case, but it was also a kick in the teeth for the families of other road crash victims who may have lost loved ones in accidents or suffered serious disabilities for the rest of their lives.

So people, once released from Prison are not allowed to work and earn a wage? Therefore becoming a greater drain on society by having to be on the dole? In my opinion Hughes should be donating a percentage of his wage to charity's supporting victims of road accidents

Thirdly, I would question the statement of the Oldham chairman who when Hughes came to the club said that "Everybody deserves a second chance".

So literally every odious criminal on the planet deserves a second chance? What if Lee Hughes had been a child rapist who had served a prison sentence for raping a little girl, would the Oldham chairman still be saying that "everybody deserves a second chance"?

What if Lee Hughes, like Joey Barton's brother, had attacked a black guy with an axe - smashing an axe into somebody's skull - would the Oldham chairman still be saying "everybody deserves a second chance"?

Why is it that the Oldham chairman believes in welcoming with open arms to the club somebody who, through his selfish actions, killed a man and left another severely disabled.

Because he was convicted for death by dangerous driving, not murder, or child abuse or rape, but dont let that get in the way of another rant. Hughes might or might not have been drunk when he crashed, we dont know, we can guess, but cant be certain. People drive fast, people have admitted to speeding on this board and you know what, if they are speeding they are just as likely to cause an accident which might seriously injure someone. Their fault, but if you were going slower, you'ld be able to stop in time or at least reduce the impact damage.

  6. There is at least one other candidate - a French defender who first came to England three years ago.

Link: Is This The Most Despicable Man In Football?

This repulsive man handed in a transfer request at Wigan almost literally after the final whistle at the end of Wigan's first season in the Premiership, apparently pulling out a piece of paper from his sock to give to Paul Jewell at the end of the match.

What a complete lack of gratitude he showed to the club that paid his wages and gave him his first taste of Premiership football.

And now this season at Spurs the disgusting slimeball is alleged to have said: "It's all about the money. I don't care about the final, I don't care about the cup."

If those reported words are true - and it wouldn't surprise me at all if a character like Chimbonda said "It's all about the money" - then it just reinforces what a despicable man he is.

(Please don't use that word again) me Smithy, you actually talk like a tabloid article.

In regards to Chimbonda, he might be a money grabbing tit, but he has not:

    1) Been caught in an extra marital affair

    2) Been caught roasting young women (and then filming it on his phone)

    3) Got caught drink driving or wrapped his highly expensive car around a bridge support/lamp column/another person

    4) Assualted anyone in a night club/outside McDonalds

    5) Stuck a lit cigar into someones eye

    6) Battered seven shades of @#/? out of someone on the training pitch for no apparant reason

    7) Deliberately gone out to injur another player on the football pitch

    8) Written a self publicising, self pitying autobiography, bemoaning everyone else but his own failings

So in fact, he's not that bad at all really is he?

  7. Aggy, only the most one eyed retard, would not have noticed that ASEF had a go at the African Cup of Nations for "lack of quality" when it was obvious to anyone who actually watches football that it was one of the most enjoyable tournamnets in terms of attacking quality that we've seen for ages.

It appears that its really because they is black, aii.
