  1. Hughes: "We were quite comfortable, the more likely team to win. We have to learn quickly we can't have off days, too many players weren't at their best." 'Weren't at their best' - are you kidding me!!! Too many players were bl00dy awful is a better phrase to use. Off days I can handle, every team has them but the total capitulation following the first goal was ridiculous. And how is it that when you look at the stats after games involving Rovers this season (and a far bit of last year too) the final score doesn't seem to reflect the apparent dominance in chances that we have. So we've bought a couple of strikers, but unless they make the onion bag bulge then what use are they!!! Question: Which Rovers striker is going through the best form at the moment?? Answer: A young Scot who's not even in our squad...Paul Gallacher.
  2. 0-3 Did Souness spike the half-time teas or something. We're a completely different team in this second half.
  3. As soon as that ball left Tugay's right peg it was in the back of the net. The look Tony Warner gave his defender on the line was priceless. The defender had his hands on his knees with a 'no chuffing way' look on his face.
  4. What's happened to David Yelldell?? He doesnt even have a squad number this year. Has he been farmed out? Here's a challenge for you all...where are they now??? Georgis Donis Hakan Unsal Jorge Gonzalez Patrick Valery I see that Ben Burgess is still scoring for Hull these days and Burton O'Brien pops up with a goal every now and again too.
  5. Without doubt I'd say MGP's goal was the better of the two scored on Saturday. The whole build up to it was just great football and a delayed cross from Kuqi was smashed home by Pedersen on the run. He had no idea if the defender was going to get a touch on it so he gambled, and it paid off big time. Fantastic strike. Tugay's goal, although a superb volley as well, was straight off the training ground pitch. I remember he tried it a couple of times last year without success but he just stuck it this time. Mind you, if the defender on the line hadnt bottled it then I think they'd be trying to stitch his head back on about now. That ball was motoring. Good luck on Wednesday boyz, let's topple the league leaders!!!
