He stripped Garry Flitcroft of the captaincy and dropped him for organising a players' day out at the end of last season without his permission - and the midfielder only found out about his punishment when he read about it in a newspaper.
Aha, it all makes sense now
-
living in Sydney is no excuse not to have a season ticket you lightweight!
You are aware Sydney is in Australia Bob?
Thats Australia the other side of the world.
About 12000 miles further away from ewood than Leeds.
Excuses excuses

It's got to be Strachan really, just think of the savings we'll make on the tracksuits
-
I wonder how matt jansen is reacting to this news!!! Bet he thought he was in with a shout when hearing about yorke
Exactly.
God knows why Matt thinks he should stay here to have 'one last shot' at resurrecting his career with us, he never gets a frigging chance.
Is this Matt 'I'm a idiot who most likely broke the rules of my contract by riding a moped' Jansen Why does he deserve another chance, he's shown nothing
-
A quote from Souness from The Official Site reads "He has scored goals in Serie A and it is a hard league to score goals" has he been recieving duff info????
It is though isn't it. Serie A is much more defensive minded than the Prem, with generally better defenders playing in it.
-
I'm afraid he is turning into another Jansen case...
What, taking serious blows to the head because he was prancing around on a motorcycle when he shouldn't have been?
-
The best thing is that Man U were looking at him, and I know at least some Utd fans who were disappointed they didn't go for him. So if he sinks United tomorrow it'd be great
How's he going to do that from the Sweeper position
-
This guy MGB, is a confident little so and so, aint he. Hopes the transfer is concluded in time for the United game.
Hardly a chance to meet his team mates or to do any training but there again Capt Kayos does question what they do, do in training.
Maybe his first meeting will be the hand shake before kick off, hope Deano tells him we play in Blue and White.
Surely he can come to that conclusion himself from the shirt he's wearing
-
I'm also pretty (!) sure he won't need a WP !
We're not that far away ffs!!
Let's hope they can wrap this up tomorrow then, would've been a good news for the Ferguson-lacking, how-many-yards-must-Short-fall-off-to-keep-up-with-Arsenal's-pace-match on Wednesday!
Any news on Amo btw? Is he injured, will he play?
God if you think Short is slow you've never seen Amo play
giraffen I know how you feel, my Norwegian is terrible when I'm drunk ............doesn't improve much when I'm sober either . Good job

Speaking of Mr. Cole, it's a good job Bolton were so bad at the back. The amount of chances he needed
Exactly what I said whilst watching MOTD at work receiving abuse from an Everton and NobEnd fan about Andy Cole. What was it, four clear chances (not counting the one that just hit him and he claimed )?
-
Emerton getting #7 suggests he'll start right? God help us
-
That's something you've said before, naturlly I disagree.
That's fair enough
-
If I was the boss you mean? Well in that case ...
What on Earth is that?! McEverley at the back, he's been out for ages! And Nissa?! Emerton at RB?!
Our best 11 (I think):
Friedel
Neill, Amoruso, Matteo, Gray
Gally, Fergie, Tugay, de Pedro
Dickov, Stead
Don't criticise if you can't come up with a better team yourself - Tugay and Ferguson in the centre of midfield, Gally on the right! If that's not a midfield asking to be overrun then I don't know what is
-
Friedel
Neill Short Matteo Gray
Thompson Douglas Ferguson De Pedro
Stead Dickov

Right lads off to another bur so will contact proparly on Wednesday to fill in abolut Routlingden.
Please not info may mnot be correct as the "eien grosse beir bitter" may typr the words for me.
You're beginning to form your sentences like a German now
I think you've been asking for more than one beer mate
-
And Jansen made it 9
#We're on the ball, we're on the ball.....#
-
Ferguson coming off with an ice pack on his knee.
Now that's not good at all... I wouldn't be worried if it was someone else (Well, maybe Matteo) but it's not very encouraging. I just hope it's the other knee, or that it's simply bruised.
I think it may have just been procortionalry
WHAT?
Precautionary mate
-
Out of interest did the trialist have a name on the back of his shirt? Or was Souness pissing around and had M. Trialist printed on it
-
Age: 40
Nationality: Welsh
Position: Forward
-
I'm leaning towards it being Dean Saunders - it sounds like part of his machiavellian plan to take over the world (or at least Ewood Park)
-
Did he come on with a blank Rovers shirt and a mask then?
-
Looks like he's a goner!
Dear God what a terrible deal for our club
-
''hes that good relegation fodder blackburn dont want him.wonder why''
Amazing how people jump to assumptions isn't it,the word clueless springs to mind with the above statement.
If we're relegation fodder then surely Fulham are 'Championship' contenders
-
I think Saturday's LET suggested that Souness's favoured pairing in centre-midfield might well be Ferguson and Tugay.
That would make matches good fun for the opposition
New Manager is Mark Hughes
