Have you got a link Waggy? nothing been in the press, possibility of something after next monday. 6 year ground bans for the custodial sentences,3 year bans for the rest. the fines and sentences were way over the top for the charge, same offence on a friday night in town and you wouldn't get anywhere near. hanging, beheading or public stoning i say, thought i'd get that in to save you all the trouble. Sounds like bad news!

I once slept in my car in Burnley after a night out, subsequently got pneumonia ! Nice.

You still getting the train then Gav ? What time ? Just, the 12:35 is going to be a bit of a rush job!
-
Anyone going on the 12:35 train to Burnley Central ? It's gonna be close to kick off, get in at 1.00pm, but it's not to far from the ground and will be great in the escort ?

12 with upto 4 games in hand on teams above us. In theory we could go upto 7th - just 10 places below you Still love the arrogance, as I say lets hope your squad have the same and get the same fate as Villa and Liverpool before you. Why is it that Burnley fans always quote the position in the league as if they are in the same league as us ? Just 10 places below us ? You're having a laugh. 1) you need to win those games in hand 2) You need to get promoted to be compared in the same league. Burnley will hopefully never get promoted to the premier league.

I was on that train Gav, well amusing. Highlight for me was when we were being excorted back to the station. My mate was caught full on the head by a horse, the white gloopy foam covered all his hair !

You could always try jogging there. 12 miles at 10 min/miling, take about 2 hours. Of ourse, part of the way you'll be on the M65, could be a bit hairy. And you'll probably look like ##i# when you get there. Other than that, no worries. Believe me when I say me and jogging don't go. You ever tried running carrying 18 stone ?

That spoils that then. Boo Hoo.

Going on the train is ridiculous - complete waste of time. a ) There are only two trains you can get from Blackburn - 1035 or 1235 (unless you're a complete twot and fancy the 0835). b ) Because of that Lancs police have the easiest task - meet those two trains at Burnley, block the station exits, and you'll all get walked straight to the ground. c ) Even if ( b ) doesn't happen - which it will - if you get the early train you'll be in Burnley an hour before the pubs open. If you get the later one you'll miss the game unless you head straight for Turf Moor. d ) Those little trains are sh!te. They hold about 100 people. The bigger trains (that go to Burnley Manchester Rd) are replaced by buses on Sunday. So there's every chance that too many people will turn up for the 1235, it'll be full, you won't get to Burnley at all. And you could have been ferried to the turnstiles for free, on an executive coach from Ewood. Oh well, enjoy the game. You're missing the point here, Tris. He'll be mad-fer-it, ###### up and ready for some dingle-squashing. Football is so much better when you're drunk and obnoxious. Wow, you must know me !

You appear to have got your train times wrong, which, completly messes up your theories - smart ass ! There is a train from Blackburn at 11:57 to Manchester Rd ! Perfect timing. So what about walking straight to the ground, I have legs ? I happen to like little sh***y trains. We dont all have to behave like sheep and do what the club wants us to do.

Yeh but many of those asked to be banned as they were sick to death of the place !

I'm going on the train, despite having a coach ticket. 1) it means you can go at your own time, rather than at 11am, nearly 3 hrs before the K/O, to go 6 miles ?? 2) You can have large quantities of alcohol. 3) It makes the day more exciting.
-
I'm not rubbing it in. Just stating that you can always get tickets. I never fail, wheter it be for the Rovers, Internationals and concerts. Worst case scenario is to sit in the home end.
-
I have no sympathy for anyon who did'nt get a ticket via the phone system. I rung up 1st thing this morning and got 4 tickets for mates. I then spent another 2 hours trying to get through, I did eventually, and bought another 4. If I can do that than anyone can. Can't wait. Also, I'd like to thank the ticket office. I had been on the line for 50 odd minutes and eventually got through to find that they only had tickets in separate seats. The operator said hold on 1 mo. whils she went to check. Then, I got cut off !!!!! Fuming I Rang back, in the queuing system for a while, getting ready to complain. The operator said, we thought you got cut off so have kept 4 tickets aside for you. Fantastic.
-
Try pressing 1, then 9 ! you still can't get through but it is much quicker.
-
I need more then 2, but made sure I got at least 2 this morning. I'd get the 2 first, then the other 2 on wednesday!
-
Mornin' Mick, where where you Saturday night ? I thought you were coming out for a few. Did Ady tell you that i'm gonna try and get you a ticket on Wedneasday ?
-
I get section 60'd everywhere I go anyway. Last time we were on an unofficial coach and yes, had to join the official queue. But we were able to leave the pub later and had ale on the coach.
-
Got mine just after 9am, no problems. Just one question the operator said that your name will be printed on the ticket. Can anyone who has been to the ticket office confirm this? Can't believe the coached leave at 11am ! I'm booked on one, but doubt I'll be on it. Train is a bad idea as last time it was a nightmaer with the Police. Unofficial coach via a number of pubs sounds best.
-
Surely the Rovers will be doing exactly the same as last time, where by you "had" to travel on the coaches? It will be mayhem if everyone has to sort out their own travel.
-
I visited the ticket office after the game and the tickets go on sale as follows... On sale Monday 7th to Season ticket holders who have purchased tickets for at least two away matches this season. Tickets then go on open sale to season tickets holders only from Wednesday 9th Feb. Tickets will then be on sale to those Supporters with a database history of purchasing tickets this season from Tuesday 15th Feb.
-
That is right, but even they have to be vetted like last time for the game as I had coporate tickets.
-
And pigs might fly.

Try singing along to it when in Germany along with another 10,000 england fans when they are winning 5-1. I think you would then find it very enjoyable !!! The atmosphere at the Rovers was much better well before the drummer. The drum kills the songs. How many do we now sing ??

You describing me ???? Sounds like you are !
