He is currently third choice at Hertha Berlin and is available on loan, 24 years old.

As long as we've not ONLY been working on Lode, it does show we're busy and VERY good at keeping it under wraps.

I think Lode was released from Schalke around august 16th. But we could have been in talks before that.

Marius Lode got his work permit application rejected yesterday (no surprise). We were the club in the Championship with the offer, heard this from two different reporters.

Anyway, won't happen now.

Didn't even make the bench last match. And the new manager played a CB at LB instead of Knudsen.

But if he can't get a work permit, I don't know why any club from the championship would offer him a contract. Would just be a waste of time. From the calculator I think he gets 10 points, and you need minimum 15.

Beat it to me, but yes the offer is supposedly from Rovers.

Even tough Marius Lode can't get a work permit in the UK, he still says that he has offers from the Championship. Wouldn't these clubs/club know this?

He was player of the year i Norway back in 2019, I think he was only 19 then. He did struggle in the start of his career at AZ, but I think he is more regular now.

Norwegian journalist who usually is spot on. There are many other clubs interested though.

I mentioned Marius Lode the other night, he confirms that he will leave Schalke now. Rovers are one of the clubs interested and have made an offer to Lode. His contract is terminated so there will be no fee for him.

We do need defenders so Gregg should look to the Bundesliga and his former players Marius Lode (CB) and Fredrik Bjørkan (LB), they don't seem to get much gametime at Schalke and Hertha.
