  1. The future looks great (on the pitch) and as long as the club stays stable, then long may it continue. Very sceptical of another Icelandic biscuit merchant-type character coming anyway and until another 'Uncle Jack' character comes a knockin, then we're probably better off carrying on the way we are. Just shows how desparate Liverpool are though - They have hammered Man U fans for the Glazer buy out and their deal appears to exactly the same..Money money money!
  2. We could request the drummers go and bang about in the Darwen End. In fact, just let them loose in Darwen for a couple of hours while we're at the football,
  3. OK Capt Kaos, it's your mission to put an end to the drummers. Please make it happen - they are a total embarrassment and just encourage a once vociferous crowd to plod along to apathetic repetitions of "get into em get into em." It's about time something was actually done about these guys - Sure they mean well but, enough is enough! Rant over.
  4. This is great news. Lets make sure he doesn't head straight down to No 39 on Darwen St though!
  5. This might have been mentioned before, but a few months ago there was a programme on Sky One called the 50 greatest foreign Premiership players ever. How on earth Tugay wasn't even on the list is unbelievable! 6 great years and counting!
  6. Not Super Atko's finest hour and it could have only happened to him. We totally outplayed Liverpool that day but if I remember, we were soundly beaten 3-0 in the replay at Anfield.
  7. This link gives a pretty good idea as to what it was like back in the great days of terracing and today's comparison. Quite emotional footage and there's a great shot of outside the Blackburn end.
  8. The 89 play off final v Palace. By far the most depressing football day of my life for so many reasons. Courtney, journey home, Ian Wright, fans on the pitch. Horrible!
