Absolutely. Aussie players over here can't afford to upset the local populus no matter what they really feel. This is true of all foreign players (and managers?) in England, they have to keep the locals sweet - it's just not worth it for them to do anything else. Look at what happened to Alpay (mind you, he just made his own situation worse by the stuff he came out with after the Turkey match, so no sympathy there).
