Not true. Konsa and ghuei have looked every inch international defenders. Ghuei was one of the stand out players at the euros. Hall has been magnificent for Newcastle. Of course they're not a top level one but who other than France have a plethora of top class centrebacks. Spain started Laporte and le Normand in the final. As for hall, he's only just turned 20 and already looks the complete full back

Not lacking in any area really. Left back is sorted with hall. Right back is very strong. A lot of good defenders. Very good attacking options. Midfield is still needing a Wharton type. And we need to find a back up for kane

England managers over the years have been hesitant to build England midfields around technically gifted players, examples of hoddle Carrick now Wharton. They prefer water carriers like Hargreaves or Henderson. Henderson should not be included even over the likes of Gallagher or gomes
