Poor first half but alot better second half. Israel played the better football
Israel played the much better football, England only came into it by using their superior fitness and strength.
Too many players one dimensional, always trying to use their speed rather than using a bit of nous.
Very similar to the full team, little imagination or craft.

The decision to appoint Broughton could be his saving grace and a master stroke if this goes well.
Reading between the lines we weren’t close to a head coach appointment and it was Broughton that got it done.
A headhunting agency was tasked with appointing a DOF.
Waggot spent so much time trying to recruit a Head Coach through traditional terms, ie advertising job and interviewing applicants, only to see them move elsewhere.I wonder why?
In comes second choice GB and action within days a Head Coach.
It was never intended for a DOF to be instrumental in recruitjng a Head Coach.
Speak volumes about the credentials of our CEO,
Now the back tracking of season ticket deadline.again.
How is he still in employment?

I think this video has been analysed a little too much! Maybe Dack had just chatted to Tomasson before that snippet was filmed.
Yes and he was told Travis is Captain.
Big sulk on, not Mr Billy Bollocks anymore.

There's usually a period when tickets unavailable online, due to realigning seats due to people renewing but changing seats.
-
Unless I'm mistaken, the season ticket info does not relate to any savings over 23 matches.
As the fixtures are released, expect another convoluted and unnecessary pricing strategy to further frustrate fans.

Ticket prices if reduced at all, would be in the form of a voucher for the club shop.,
1 minute ago, Paul Mani said:They are the current prices, Rovers always miss a trick by selling late and not having a really reduced Early Bird offer.
This has been exacerbated by the true rise in the cost of living becoming more apparent, which was not the case 2/3 months ago.

You'd be livid if you've forked out full price and the club turn round and slash prices in the wake of JDT's announcement.
Ticket prices if reduced at all, would be in the form of a voucher for the club shop.,Of course that would have to be for everybody who has purchased a ticket.

Waggots main job should be to stop the haemorrhaging of existing fans. He is failing . A 23% increase in 3 years in the current climate is laughable.
He has no long term goal here. His sees his job to maximise revenue on a balance sheet for this season only with no planning for 2,3,5,10 years down the line.
If he could have 3000 in paying £1500 each but isolating the rest he would probably do it.
Waggot just toeing the line, Venky's control major decisions at Ewood.
Seasonn Ticket prices based around "don't devalue the product"
All goes back to Madame Desai furiously criticising John Williams for previously reducing prices to increase attendances.

Hope we try and get Hadzikandunic at Malmoe. Only 6 months left on his contract. Good defender. 24 years.
On loan from Russian side FC Rostov.
Due to ongoing situation re Russian sanctions, may not be possible.

Unimaginative and outdated marketing.
CEO completely out of ideas and foresight.
Madame Desai, was furious early in Venky's tenure when she realised how John Williams re-invigorated attendances by cutting season ticket prices.Since then the attitude has remained, as our Commercial Manager has been quoted, "don't devalue the product"
How can you, on one hand stump up £20 million a season, and on the other reduce your income.

My experience of Greg Coar was he simply wasn't up to it.
-
J D T has no has no Championship experience which initially was a pre-requisite for the job.
Broughton only experienced at Academy level.
Head of Recruitment leaving.
Where is the knowledge of players available going to come from?
An assistant manager with Championship experience required plus a Head of Recruitment ASAP.
Plus the added complication of a work permit.
A lot of work to do in a short space of time.

Read an article about Les Ferdinand who was explaining how they appointed Michael Beale. He said they spoken to over 20 people about the vacancy there and any appointment need a backing in development.

😄 No. It was the first initials that came to my head. Or it could be Ben Mee. He's looking for a new challenge. ☺️
Then again, Billy McKinlay does have experience... And those are his initials... And he is a former Rover, legended by booting Savo Milošević's boot half way across the Ewood pitch...
BM refers to Borussia Moenchanblabdach who are reportedly after Farke.

The only credential he has for the role is that he used to play for us and the fans loved him. Don't think we'll be employing him as a Sporting Director on the bases that he's a lawyer. On paper, it'd be a mad appointment. He's not in the game anymore, other than for some legal capacity on a committee.
I think the Sporting Director needs to be a name that up and coming players will want to sign for. I reckon it'll be Stuart Pearce.
Presumed from comments about incoming DOF, that had a Rovers link
However would prefer Stuart Pearce, as unlikely as it may be.

Wild guess for DOF Stuart Ripley.

Would Carvalhal or Farke need a work permit?

Despite your (and others) reservations about ticket sales, you will be surprised to see the club are in fact on track to reach the pre-pandemic level of sales looking at the numbers sold so far.
Not sure how you arrive at that fact, as the ticket info on site is not representative of tickets sold.
Will only be apparent when june 04 deadline is passed.

I didn't think Bell was Championship quality. A change of club and manager put paid to that.
Signed by Mowbray from Fleetwood where he played as a wing-back, played in a back four by Mowbray.
Back to wing-back at Luton and looking a better player.

I think there's a chance Durrant gets another year. Looked really interesting since he moved into a central role. Made some very Joe Rothwell-esque runs in games and been much better 2nd half of this season.
Durrant has had a trial game at Sheffield Wednesday.
