  1. Is the wall OK?

Seriously, sorry to hear that. We really could've done with a draw. :(

No, honestly, have you really broken your arm?

honestly..well miffed ,got a flamin interview in liverpool when i get back as cwell....12 hours in plane slinged up on pain killers when theres fr3e ale...gutted

Sounds like one hell of a punch :o

not so much a punch but a slap...i went round 2 days thinking i had my gout but it sweeled and i went to cas last night.

  2. I have to support RTM on this one.

Can I just say, I have noticed that somewhat hypocritcally, whenever 'respected' members of this board query Hughes' decision - i.e Paul, USABlue and Abbey above have tentatively queried why Hughes isn't given Gally more of a chance, the usuals do not hit back with "HUGHES SEES THE PLAYERS IN TRAINING, HE KNOWS HOW GOOD THEY ARE SO SHUT UP YOU MORON" attitude.

Paul and Abbey (i think...) are regular attendees of ROvers matches, all respect to them for that, but it seems very duplicitous of certain members to use the "Hughes knows best" argument against a selected few.

Surely, to remain consistent, you have to either stick to it and always accept that the man who is sees the players 24/7 almost, will always be right (In which case deride Abbey, USA Blue and Paul like anyone else, for challenging this norm). Or you have to accept that despite his omnipresence in the Rovers world, Hughes, is not omniscient - not quite anyway. In which case, whilst of course you can disagree with criticism of Hughes' selections, you can never use the argument that Hughes sees the players in training everyday so will always know more than the fans about who should be in the team or not.

hughes does see him 24/7 and knows millions more than any of us thats why hes the gaffer. But if he doesnt think he's good enough get shut of him ,harsh I know but its a cold hearted game nowadays.Footy is about opinions and we can voice what we view as correct ,dot mean we are right but gally is no worse than nonda or jeffers.

  3. Because theres a large element in our away support that causes trouble, has been for years now and nothing can be done about it. I don't condone it, and think it's pathetic but unfortunately that is the way it is at United especially at the big aways where we get a large allocation. It shoots ourselves in the foot because you're one of few clubs that give us a big allocation. The likes of Boro only give us 1,500. Yet those that cause trouble moan when we get small allocations, yet when we do get a decent one they cause trouble.

One or two idiots might have made some noise in the ground but anyone that did was told to shut up. Don't tar everyone with the same brush mate.

I can't take your comments on Ronaldo seriously, he was kicked viciously in the first half and again in the second. He didn't fake any injury and is a doubt for Portugals game Wednesday due to the foul late in the game. He was signalling to come off when the ball broke to him and he tried to play on but unfortunately had to come off.

no probs about the troble ,thogh you was just saying its kool thats all.

but hand on heart you cant say ronaldo got kicked lumps out of because noone got near him because as soon as anyone got nr he was on his arse..peter caught him fair do's but that was the only one .

dont know if you was here for last games season he dived on the edge of the area in the 1st 2 mins and nooone was anywhere near him ,he's a cheat...simple as.

Managed to sprint half the pitch again though with the ball didn't he before coming off though YSB <_<

and then happened to start limping again after his linford cristie imprssion.

  4. So the guy has not been that impressive during loan spells and previous chances he has in the first team and has done alright, certainly no more, as a substitute this year, but for some reason you want to put him in now? He's no central midfielder, that's for sure, and he certainly doesn't deserve a place ahead of either MGP or Bentley, he's also shown himself to not really be a striker in the past. I don't see a point in changing things for changes sake, we have injuries and we'll have to wait until those players are back or change the formation.

put him in til sav comes back I said.

play him just behind the front two.

MGP has done what this season?

nonda has done what this season?

jeffers has done what this season?

changes for changes sake?? we are 3 points from the poop its not a case for changing sake..the ax has beeen woeful hes more like an inflatuble hammer at the moment off the pleasure beach.

gally is a local lad and hasnt had the chance of proper run in the team.

  5. doesnt matter to me how hes playing he doest give a sh:t about the rovers fans or club i would have put him in the reserves and let him wallow...
