They've gotten away with it, as it initially appears to be a shirt sponsor. However, there are probably other less publicised ways the two work together.
You've got a point. The inflight entertainment on Qatari Airways is very Barca heavy.

I was so excited when we signed Rigters.
I was on holiday, saw the SSN breaking headline, stopped for a beer. I thought we'd signed a worldie.
I was seduced by the Charlie Newhouse YouTube reel.

At the risk of dragging this into Geo Politics, does everybody's favourites Barca cop grief for their Qatari links?

Amazing finish.
Netflix will be gutted.
If only Sunderland had a manager who knew how to get out of that division with a "big budget".

His overall midfield reading of the game wasn't as good as Tugay but I thought he had the best final, short through ball I've seen from a Rovers player.
If the striker made the run he would find a gap to find him. Admittedly it was against second tier opposition but I thought he was brilliant, clearly a player operating a level below the level he should have been playing at.
Berkovic was the consummate lock picker.

Duncan McKenzie, all those years ago. Pure quality, even at his age then.
I have fond memories of my Dad having to calm me down when the Telegraph announced McKenzie's signing. He didn't disappoint.

So the goal-keeping coach is irrelevant then?
I haven't given it that much thought. Don't most clubs have a GK coach? I'm just wondering why ours is copping flack when he wasn't identified as a problem when Raya was getting rave reviews. Maybe he's become a bad GK coach? Maybe those that have genuine connections at the club can enlighten us? Or perhaps the GK coach needs to take his place in the stocks alongside Mowbray and Waggott.

Well just guessing but maybe its what they see out there on the pitch every week? Perhaps they don't feel they need to know him personally?
Ah right. So when Raya was in sparkling form the Goalkeeper coach was a good 'un?

I'm really puzzled at the negativity towards the goalkeeping coach. Does somebody know something definitive about him not being up to snuff?

Truly the ugly face of football. Gurning prick.
A mate lived down that way for a bit after leaving the Navy. He reckons Pompey fans are 'Southern Dingles'. I can see his point.

The sponsor makes or breaks a jersey, but ain't many acceptable ones out there
Didn't we have the Princes trust the season we went down?
We did and it looked good. Sadly, I think it was symptomatic of our status at the time and that commercial sponsors didn't want to touch us. ICI Perspex, Crown Paints, HSA and AMD Processors all looked decent on our shirts.

Time, money and resources used? Come on ? I doubt it would be the most hard fought negotiation under the circumstances. I reckon Gladwin would snap their hands off for whatever is offered. I doubt he has any other offers.
What do you mean by the first highlighted bit? I am intrigued
How will this move impact on us attracting quality players?
This is a comical overreaction to be honest
We haven't got to the end of May and this is already the second comical overreaction (I'm counting the outrage caused by Derby signing Shinnie)

Uninspiring - especially the fact that he cannot spell Hello or Privilege.
That said, obvious lazy journalism.
He's not all that according to some Bolton fans (this view had been expressed before he handed in his notice) He didn't manage to force his way into a very poor team this season either. Luca Connell, on the other hand, has apparently put Bolton on notice that he's off and would appear to be a much more interesting potential target.

I watched my first game on ifollow (Swansea) and it was pretty good and worth the money. With daylight saving coming in here for the winter it was on at a decent time and I was able to watch straight after enjoying Adelaide Utd's progress to the A league semi finals. Sadly, of course, the days of watching Rovers live on Foxtel in the wee small hours are gone and I mostly wake up on a Sunday morning and go straight to google for the score.

Best signings for me would be Reed and Rodwell. Why does Mowbray look any further when he's unlikely to find better?
Isn't it the case that Reed wants to impress the new boss at Soton and isn't interested in a permanent move to Ewood?

Pretty poor dropping 2 points at home to that lot considering their recent away form :-
Last 8 away games :- W 1 D 0 L 7 F 4 A 17
That's a poor record but I think they're a good side nevertheless. They got on top when we couldn't seem to readjust after losing Bennett. Lots of room for improvement but some stuff to be excited by.

Much better after that very worrying first half when we just didn't deal with Swansea's slick movement and passing or the Bennett readjustment. We were well on top second half although Swansea clocked off a bit. We still looked vulnerable when Swansea got forward but some real positives in the second 45. Rothwell's bursts forward make him an exciting prospect and Davenport looked very comfortable on the ball and has potential to become an accomplished player on that showing.

Can't get near them. They're miles better than us.

That line up should be under the dictionary definition of 'meh'.

I can only speak for Great Harwood and without any shadow of doubt it is predominately a Rovers stronghold, even though some claret and blue shirts have appeared on the streets in recent years. Hyndburn is antipathy to most who were born or raised there and would opt out at a stroke if given the opportunity.
Rishton people I know feel the same and it would be no surprise if residents of Oswaldtwistle had similar views.
Ossy is very blue and white.
As for it's allegiances or otherwise to Hyndburn I think most Ossy folk aren't that bothered but tend to identify with Accrington and probably wouldn't mind an amalgamation with Accy if Hyndburn ceased to be an entity.

Andy Holt is a good, responsible owner who is doing his bit for his club. It can't be easy being based in a small town wedged between Rovers and b*ly. Stanley have done fantastically well when you consider where they have come from, I have a lot of affection for them being from the area. Interesting that he has taken up the cudgels against Rovers, perhaps an acknowledgement that Hyndburn is largely blue.
