It's one thing I've noticed - he has a lovely low pinged pass, which both moves us up the field quickly and plays to the smaller players' strengths.

He's been a real bonus recently and has allowed TK to go and get the surgery he's been needing, without being missed.

Yup, never thought I'd say this but he's been excellent recently and his distribution is better than Kaminski.

I'm confused that you see 20 minutes of football and 90 minutes of football as being the same in terms of strain on the body. You've played football, right?

    Ok.

The point somebody initially made was the manager was right not to start Dack and some posters were wrong to disagree with him being left on the bench.

If a player is fit - he should be able to play 90 mins with lesser risk of injury.

    Start the player.

If he isn't fit, he should be out of the matchday squad.

If he isn't fit (and only the player/JDT will know this,  bringing him into a game which is becoming frenetic - off the bench, doesn't really make sense. Surely the player is at the same -or greater risk  of injury - which happened.

So you can argue JDT was sensible not to start him but stupid for throwing him on.

But I'm happy to bow to your/Bethnell's opinion

even though I'm not quite  sure what it is 😂

Anyway, off out for a pint.  Enjoy your evening chaps 👍

Sorry, I’m still looking at where the goalposts were, where it was criminal he didn’t start. Where are you putting them now?

If he is fit.  He should start.

If he isn't, don't play him at all.

    That's the manager's call.

No point saying you want to rest him, but bring him on anyway.

If he started today.  He may have pulled a muscle or he may not.

I'm not sure what you are missing?

Blowing out your hamstring (and him looking like he was holding back tears on the walk to confirm that suspicion) a few minutes after coming on, having been through two consecutive cruciate ligament injuries, managed through the recovery and subsequent to your first intense run of starts… but you’re right, I guess, random occurrence, could happen anytime.

So if he's feeling the pace, why even put him on the bench? Surely you leave him out the squad.

...or he didn't warm up properly...

or coming on cold has caused the issue.

Either way, if he's fit, he should start.  If he isn't then don't play him at all.
