I was genuinely surprised how good Cole was. His all round game was excellent. That might have come with experience as he was approaching the twilight if his career but he was a bloody good forward.

What we lack is any kind of service from out wide. Any width is provided by forwards who then can't get on the end of their own cross. It's a daft system unless you have wing backs bombing up and hitting the byline. Ours don't. We either need genuine wingers to play the wide roles or better wing backs. Either way its where our issues lie.

Defend from the front is harrying the defenders when they have the ball. Dolan is a good example. It's not really a CF job to track back midfielders carrying the ball. Its part of the reason why we struggle to break on teams as half the time BBD and Gally are deep in our half when the ball is turned over.

Have to say I enjoy watching Garrett. Reminds me a bit of Flitcroft.

Formation is crap. If we do actually get the ball down the byline, there is only ever one person in the box. In this system you need a ball carrier in the middle like Rothwell used to do.

Has their keeper had a serious save to make yet?
