Metallica's new album is fooking awesome. Saw them at the MEN last year, got tickets for them at the Etihad too. They're far from past their best in my opinion, in fact I'd say they're better than ever.

Has you said Dean Smith ticks all the boxes and IMO should be their 1st choice but I wouldnt be surprise if they appoint some left field choice on the advise of an agent or advisor.

Wouldn't be shocked if Russia beat Croatia. They're the hosts so will get a better deal from the officials. Hosts tend to raise their game too.
