The cabin in the woods was incredible, loved it so fresh
-
Really looking forward to Cabin in the Woods but doing all I can to avoid spoilers

Overall Webb wasn't overly pro united I thought, scholes should have been booked but it was never a foul, he also didn't book hoilett for kicking the ball away and had a small chance of giving them a penalty, he doesn't normally pass those up
-
There is good news though, the ref for next Monday?
Mr 'penalty to united' Webb!

Did you enjoy the Millstone?
Off (once again) to the Freemasons at Wiswell tonight.
We did was very nice actually, the Creme brûlée was a highlight, lovely laid back atmosphere as well
-
Hope so, it's the kind of place we like rather than really overly fancy and it it's somewhere different than the clog and billycock but In a similar vein I'm led to believe
-
Off to millstone on saturday for a meal for our anniversary after reading good reviews here, looking forward to it, I'll report back.

I watched F on film four last night, I like cheap slasher films but it was simply terrible.
Faceless teens killing teachers in a school at night, somehow these guys are masters of sneaking silently atop bookcases etc, no real ending either it was like they ran out of money and said right let's just leave it then.
Just awful

Anyone use Netflix? Just signed up via Quidco, free for 30 days with no charge if you cancel within the 30 days and if you watch 5 hours worth of content there's £15 cashback. £5.99 a month for unlimited streaming.
The UK catalogue is OK but not great but for the 360 at least there are 'workarounds' to access the American catalogue which is gargantuan.
Why is it though when you have access to all these films etc your mind just goes blank when it comes to what to watch

Normal one with seasonal 2 courses for 10:50 3 for 13:50.
Have to say I took the pic cause the light was right , but it was as delicious as it looks.
May have to call and try that out one lunchtime. Is it anything on the seasonal menu?

She is but am I?

err...... Thats what this thread is about Tom. There's 81 pages of recommendations!
btw rog's advice is good. Good food and equally important good beer too.
I know but I was feeling lazy and wanted some recommendations ha.
May try that I am a fan of the food at the Ribble valley inns but somethig similar but different may appeal

Anniversary coming up, was thinking of just going three fishes or clog again but anyone got any recommendations?
-
Do they have a lunch menu these days or just the normal one?

A girl from my secondary school is in that Paul, according to IMDB she plays the Nanny. Her and Ellie Goulding were probably at the same school at the same time, although some years apart. Not bad for a school of 250 pupils.
I don't remember a nanny in the film
then again my memory sucks

Limitless was good but the ending was pants

Sandler has outstayed his welcome a bit for me but is ok in small doses.
That new one advertised with him as a woman looks like a bad joke you'd see on family guy
Watched Pirates 4 last night, love the series but felt some of the new characters a bit weak, the religious guy was just wet and hard to care about. Depp is fantastic as captain jack though what a role he plays
-
It had poisonous reviews. Shows that reviewers are just people with different tastes.
Also that quality doesn't always translate to enjoyment.
I love my films but am often bored by Oscar winning efforts, I thought grown ups was fun enough though.
Watched true grit a couple of weeks ago which I thought was brilliant and Paul on Friday night which was quite funny with some good in jokes

Just been Clogg and Billycock with the Mrs.
Once again fantastic food (I just had the bread basket and then chicken breast with chips and garlic and chilli sauce, Nikki had the cauliflower fritters and then cheese and onion pie), it was slow but then again it always will be on a day like today.
The cheese and onion pie is exceptional there I must say never tasted any close to it.
We were going to get puddings but it was just too hot in there and Arlo was starting to play up.

Watched 2 films tonight:
Firstly tucker and dale vs evil thanks nelsta what a fantastic indie film.
Secondly human centipede 2, for the first time I recall I have cause to use the word, abhorrent. The first was almost comical in tone this was just sick with its only aim being shock value, some lines that didn't need crossing were crossed
