Harsh on Trybull, I think he has been solid enough -

I still can’t believe Armstrong didn’t go round the keeper. It was perfect. -

Better see a massive up tick in results when the trio gets back or It’s curtains for Mowbray I think. He has had a good run but it’s time for a change. He will get till the end of the season regardless. I thought we were okay today, miles better than Wed. Johnson did well actually, better than usual. Perhaps it should be a permanent move. Douglas a bit better, Lenihan wasn’t outrageously bad as usual which is nice. Trybull had a good game, Rothwell done alright, Holtby on a poor poor run of form. Gallagher shouldn’t start again, what a waste of 5m, just not a good footballer at all. Stoke are a dreadful side but so organized. -

Punchless, no real movement off the ball. Absolutely brutal. Could have played till midnight and not scored -

Come on boys! Huge game. Liking the midfield today and it’s the one we need to persist with. -

Keeps looking better every time I see it. That front three is terrifying, and a bit of nonse in midfield -

Mowbray takes Rothwell off every week so no he doesn’t need a rest. Agree with the midfield here though, but would put Rothwell wide left of the three. There is no way he would be less useful that Gallagher out there. Gallagher should be a route one option off the bench. -

Lenihan too but we are still short a quality CB. Folk laughing at the thought of bringing Kipre in on Loan a few weeks ago too. -
Lenihan for me was abysmal not for the first time this season, needs a good solid dropping. Douglas, I thought this guy was suppose to be good, didn’t even look like a footballer tonight. So sick of seeing Johnson plodding around in the midfield with players scurrying all around him, it’s brutal. He is playing way too much football right now, and needs a rest. Buckley needs a 6 month loan up in Scottish Championship. Gallagher, just so has zero technical ability. The one time he got through he had no thought to look where Armstrong was, a head down and pummel guy.

Was coming on here to post exactly this. Rothwell is good at coming from deep sure, but if he can be further up the pitch, cutting in from the left. His pace will cause any right back problems. It let’s Gallagher return to bench and Elliott switch to his fav right wing and can form a formidable partnership with Nyambe. That midfield is better too.
