Sabu reported to have passed away. Guy never got the money or recognition he deserved. RIP, you suicidal, homicidal, genocidal maniac.

Too many stars need to align for me to be optimistic about things (It's the hope that kills you)
I'll rethink after Leeds/Bristol. Need a Leeds win to push Burnley to the last day.

yet plenty of us think we would be able to run the club better than the current ownership and board
Anyone who can send a fax or email on time would do a better job.

A clear example of how disengaged they are from Ewood. They appoint non-entities, then believe what these stooges tell them!
They don't have the interest to even get a balanced account of what is happening.
What is the point of hanging on year after year?
This was my major takeaway as well.
If true, it means Waggot/Pasha/Gestede have been left to get on with things with no support & input from Pune. I'd almost have sympathy for them if they hadn't made the wrong decision at almost every opportunity.

I'm almost at wishing Ali Syed had bought us instead.

A clause in his contract…a contract Maggott/Pasha etc would have signed off on. 🤦🏻♂️
’significant investment’ Not a time to be making jokes, really.

Can't speak much for Blackburn, but Tyrone's experience sounds a lot like here in York.
King's Arms (when above water) and the Burns Inn are still here, but the York Arms, in the literal shadow of the Minster, has been closed for over 10 years. About a month ago, the Wellington Inn closed as well:

Humphrey is the closest equivalent of a Victorian mill owner in the 21st century, though he is known to have a softer side - There are reports of long-term employees paying stupidly low rent on their Humphrey-owned buildings.
It'll be interesting seeing what direction his son takes the company in.

It wasn't three medicals. They've discovered he has three testicles. That's why he's such a strong player.
No doubt some will say this a load of bollocks.
Sounds like a job for that Bulgarian fitness coach…Runyer somethingorother…

Must be the same reason why the English supporters sing Ten Green Bombers because they hate the Germans for the blitz.
Not a patch on how the Dutch feel about the Germans. Just ask Rijkaard & Voller 🤤

Suicidal defending for two of the goals, I think the Türkiye goalkeeper was changed from the first game?

Please bring back the likes of Trevor brooking Alan hansen Jimmy Hill etc and get rid of plebs like jenus and Danny Murphy
I think bringing back Hill would be a bit of a stretch…

Turkey v Georgia, what a game !
That first goal was Tugay-esque (Toogs would've scored from 10 yards further out)

Tony Khan’s fragile ego on full display last week:
Firstly in response to Punk’s interview with Ariel Helwani, showing backstage footage of the Punk/Jack Perry scuffle (I’ll accept this may be part of a storyline bringing back Perry and aligning him with the Elite)
Then, after HHH’s comments of some AEW talent not being “in it for the grind”, Will Ospreay responded with a personal jab at HHH ‘grinding the boss’s daughter’
All this one week after Adam Copeland’s promo about having less tribalism in the industry.
Khan needs someone able to tell him ‘no’. -
That's a proper shift. Proud of the lot of them.

Ah, still doing the tomahawk chop...stay classy, KC fans.
And Taylor Swift can eff off.
-
KC possibly finding their rhythm in the 4th quarter. Took 3 injuries in the 49ers defense to get there though.

Caught my first one today, after stating on Instagram that Lowe and Benson should be canned, but a fish rots from the head down. Apparently I'm clueless. Well, rather that than a Venkys/Rao apologist.

So is the general consensus that he’s a poor man’s George Donis?
Wish him well but don’t think he’ll be a key player for us.
