  1. How long till that gets 'inadvertently' used for target practice?
  2. I was just checking, and he should have come back 10 days ago. Then again, it’s from the official site so take it with a pinch of salt.
  3. £200,000 spent in club shop, 9,000 tickets sold for their next match. 150th birthday present from the Pune loons?
  4. Post 2010, the stand outs have been Tosin, Van Hecke and Elliot. Branthwaite has come through recently but probably too early to be decent for us. I’ve got a memory of Gresko coming on loan and being great, but dropping off after he signed full-time 🤷🏻‍♂️
  5. I know it’s all opinions, but Henchoz over Nelsen/Samba is quite some take.
  6. Limited info at the moment, but it appears Hulk Hogan has passed away. Somewhat chequered legacy to say the least, but wrestling doesn’t get where it is today without him.
  7. So is the general consensus that he’s a poor man’s George Donis? Wish him well but don’t think he’ll be a key player for us.
  8. Sabu reported to have passed away. Guy never got the money or recognition he deserved. RIP, you suicidal, homicidal, genocidal maniac.
  9. Too many stars need to align for me to be optimistic about things (It's the hope that kills you) I'll rethink after Leeds/Bristol. Need a Leeds win to push Burnley to the last day.
  10. Anyone who can send a fax or email on time would do a better job.
  11. This was my major takeaway as well. If true, it means Waggot/Pasha/Gestede have been left to get on with things with no support & input from Pune. I'd almost have sympathy for them if they hadn't made the wrong decision at almost every opportunity.
  12. I'm almost at wishing Ali Syed had bought us instead.
  13. A clause in his contract…a contract Maggott/Pasha etc would have signed off on. 🤦🏻‍♂️ ’significant investment’ Not a time to be making jokes, really.
  14. Can't speak much for Blackburn, but Tyrone's experience sounds a lot like here in York. King's Arms (when above water) and the Burns Inn are still here, but the York Arms, in the literal shadow of the Minster, has been closed for over 10 years. About a month ago, the Wellington Inn closed as well: https://yorkmix.com/shutting-york-pub-is-like-something-scrooge-would-do-says-councillor/# Humphrey is the closest equivalent of a Victorian mill owner in the 21st century, though he is known to have a softer side - There are reports of long-term employees paying stupidly low rent on their Humphrey-owned buildings. It'll be interesting seeing what direction his son takes the company in.
  15. Jimmy Carter gone at 100 - terrible president but amazing human being.
  16. Every team ahead of us now winning.
  17. Sunderland now winning 3-2.
  18. Andrew Moran, formerly of this parish, scores for Stoke. Swansea 2-0 up against Sunderland.
  19. RIP Sven-Goran Eriksson at 76. What could have been…
  20. Sounds like a job for that Bulgarian fitness coach…Runyer somethingorother…
  21. Not a patch on how the Dutch feel about the Germans. Just ask Rijkaard & Voller 🤤
  22. Suicidal defending for two of the goals, I think the Türkiye goalkeeper was changed from the first game?
