I swear we’d still concede if the opposition just stood still for 90 minutes

How the fuck did we beat Leeds?

At what point, if any, does a point become acceptable to Wednesday?

Have to agree, for me there's a lot of players out there stealing a living whilst the magnificent SS keeps us afloat.
We'd be on about 20 points without him.
At a normal Club a huge clear out would be required in summer.
I worked this out yesterday and removing his goals put us on (I think) 35 points.
Of course this doesn’t take into account the influence of the rest of his game.

Wednesday are in very good form, the league table is irrelevant. Saying we should expect to win is a bit daft to be honest seeing as we’ve only won 2 since the new manager took over
They’ve won 1 of their last 7 league games.
Edit - beaten to it 🤦♂️

We should be all over Rotherham's GK. Offer them Pears and £500k.
They’d probably ask for a straight £300k instead 😄😄

That's got to be Huddersfield gone, right?
You’d think so given where they have to go on the final day.

As things stand, we just need a point on Sunday and we’ll be safe
I don’t think that’s right as both Wednesday and Birmingham could still pass us.
Am I missing something?

Pretty much ever present in a title winning side, yep he can have legendary status for me.
I’ve just checked and was surprised to see he only played 27 times in the league that season.

Peterborough chairman has confirmed that Posh missed out on £100k with Szmodics not announced as POTY.
They will also get an additional £100k when Sammie makes an appearance in a competitive fixture for Ireland.
I thought deals were supposed to be kept confidential unless both clubs agreed otherwise.

If you take away Sam Szchmodics 30 goals this season in the Championship, Rovers would be well adrift at the bottom. Doesn't say much for the rest of the strike force this Season. Its crystal clear we're we need to spend in the Summer, providing we reach safety in the Championship.
We’d be on 35 points without Sammie’s goals so whilst we’d be down (and comfortably so) surprisingly we wouldn’t be bottom.

The EFL statement in full:

Edited to add - if the EFL had any balls they’d state none of their clubs will be entering next year if replays are not reinstated.
Instead they’ll just push for some sort of ‘compensation package’.

Throw in the 5-0 at their place a couple of years back for good measure Gav

Man Utd pulling out in 2000 set the precedent there I think.
No reason why teams couldn't boycott it if they wished too.
We’ve been boycotting the final since 1960.

I sincerely hope all the major FA Cup sponsors pull out in protest at this. I don't expect them to but they really do have some clout. Bullingham is now saying that this was agreed with several other organisations including a four man EFL committee. Whose best interests are they representing? I wouldn't trust Rick Parry with anything.
Presumably it was the four on this list

The answer, "He beat you (Rovers) on his own in the semi-final at Ewood back in early 90's"!

🤦♂️ - go with the 7-2 then.

We have a Wednesday season ticket holder in the family and many of our close friends group are fans. I’m just trying to decide what I post in our WhatsApp group to get them going 😃
The 7-2 win or Semi final win in our league cup winning season 🤔
How do they feel about Paul Warhurst?

Last time we went down we had 51 points, so that's incorrect.
I do believe we will be safe with a draw though and even more so if both Huddersfield and Brum, fail to win tomorrow.
and other teams have gone down with even more.

Apparently the rules can only be changed with the approval of the Professional Game Board.
Have the EFL appointees on this board agreed to these changes without consulting their member clubs?
