If only you knew about me and Deano....
Him and Souness have a few targets in mind, so expect developments in the next few weeks. So he tells me.

(why hasn't it put that quote in a nice little box? Why, why!? Got to be Saunders again)
Actually its not Saunders this time. The second
needs a / between the [ and the Q to indicate "stop quoting here".You can only blame yourself

Bye bye Andrew.

If I was the boss you mean? Well in that case:
Friedel Emerton Nissa McEveley Gray Thompson Douglas Ferguson Pedro Gallagher Stead

If you read the whole thread before posting, or even yesterdays news, you would already know that he's not with the Rovers...

So, finally bought my first couple albums off of iTunes, Kate Bush - Sensual World and The Cure - The Cure. A nice easy process that took very little time once I was set up.
As for the new Cure album, if you liked Disintigration, you'll like this one.
Is it even possible to like The Cure and not like Disintegration?
Their best album.

That he doesnt have a real passport.
I thought he was dutch (yes, despite the name)... Guess not then.

If given the choice between Souness and Cole, who would you keep?
-
Was there none from this list, [as at the end of the season] that you could realistically get on a free?
Javier De Pedro Real Sociedad
Yep, there was one.

I took the courtesy of sending the Sunday P an email, sorry if I stole some of your points:
Dear Sunday P,Just wanted to inform you of a few more details surrounding the Andy Cole situation.
The facts (which you obviously have from a close source of the player or club) are quite correct indeed. Blackburn Rovers have decided to pay up the rest of Andy Cole?s contract (£3million) and let him leave on a free to Fulham FC, where they will also pay 50% of his wages ? spot on there guys! This because Andy Cole has been a bit part player since he joined, scoring a measly 37 goals in his 87 starts and 9 substitute appearances for the club.
But you missed the fact that Rovers are also going to offer the unhappy former skipper Gary Flitcroft to WBA in a similar deal, and pay 50% of his wages AND pay up the remaining part of his contract (£4million ? 2 years) too.
In addidion, both Fulham and WBA will get their pick of one addition player from the Rovers first team (not Andy Todd or Dwight Yorke as similar deals are in the making) and 50% of the profits from the clubs shirt sales over the next 2 years. And in an effort to build a good relationship with the competing clubs in The Premiership Rovers have also offered Fulham, WBA, Norwich and Everton 6000 free tickets to Ewood Park for their clashes with the Rovers. Early speculation that the lancashire club had limited funds for transfers have therefore been squashed as they are now splashing out £7 million on transferring 2 players to competing teams. And at the same time they are not actually increasing their wage budget so this presents good business yet again from Souness and Williams!
Stay tuned for similar deals for Dwight Yorke and Andy Todd in the near future!
Looking forward to more on the spot news, as they happen, in your excellent newspaper!
Regards,
Daniel *********

I don't think Flitcroft carries much influence in the dressing room anymore
Impressive. You noticed this how? Chatting with the staff and/or players, or perhaps you were actually in the dressing room during the last few games?

Well for me it's the holiday aspect of it, Gav. I've never really been much in Germany, apart from at 1 or 2 airports, and definitely not in a car driving around the country. And to top it up with getting to see about 20 different rovers players or more in action certainly doesnt hurt.

England go out, scapegoat must find.
Need not say more.

Big Col was captain at times was he not?
Hinge centers them of the Scottish defense, some year makes had seriously thought to abandon professionistico soccer, then has met the connazionale Dalglish that has thrown again it to large to the center of the defense of the Blackburn Rovers the champions of England. Dalglish has left the park bench of the Rovers, but Hendry is remained becoming fundamental also for Hodgson English -
All this gossip, if 50% true is giving me hope that Duff will return on loan this fall. It's still a long shot, but you have to wonder when they are letting players signed last summer go by the dozen (well almost).

I still find Firefox to render a lot of pages incorrectly, due to most of them being coded with IE in mind. However, with the OPERA browser this isnt a problem, pages usually display correctly even if they are coded for IE specifically.
It is also fast, and has the same or more features than Firefox. Highly recommended!

Merged with the Chelski topic - its about them and its about transfers

Looking good. I may drive there (and possibly sleep in a tent) if the dates are right. Just have to work out how much driving it will involve..
Awaiting news when you get it, Lee

I was just going to say a word or two about sitting back and defending a 1-0 lead for the majority of the game, a tactic the English on here hate the Italians for, but England never do that themselves so I won't bother...
I heard that humble pie they are serving now is really tasty
Must say, I have been quietly impressed by the way the Norwegians have played so far...what's that you say? Didn't even qualify? My mistake then. As you were...
I didnt think we were discussing Norway.. But if you want to, yes we suck, but we know it

Yeah Eddie, I see you point and I agree. It was pretty much the same opinion I hold and I stand by it. They went out fair and square, but were capable of a lot more. Nothing more to it. I rest my case.

Whats with all the Italy bashing? I have read of ONE player that has whinged about match fixing, ONE player was dirty, and the criticism of their play is over the top IMO. The fact is they had the best team and the best players in the group, but could not turn it on sufficiently to progress, much the same as Spain.
Then why the need to make them scapegoats? (I guess it's the English mentality of always finding one to chuck the blame at)
