    That's not saying much.

😂. Not as they are now vs as we were then and I doubt ever. They’ve alway had the attitude of well if 10,000 of you want to fuck off there’s another 10,000. Rovers now have the same attitude of well if 10,000 of you want to fuck off there’s 0 coming in. Meh. In many ways that makes us a lot worse than manure these days.

Some fans are just fed up of 13 years of lies, let downs, being ripped off, misled, and having the piss taken by people who are actively destroying and undermining the club.

    I'm one of them.

Handing money over to the likes of Venkys and Waggott doesn't give me any satisfaction or 'I'm a proper fan' feeling. Infact I feel dirty and conflicted when I do it. Knowing full well that these people at best don't care and just take us as an irrelevance and more likely are laughing at us behind closed doors.

Any other club you can think of had 13 years in a row of this rubbish?

That’s exactly how I feel. It’s why I can never forgive them or move on until they’re gone. They’ve made me feel ashamed and embarrassed about just wanting to support my team.

There was a time I would speak to fans of any club from Man Utd to Liverpool to anybody and argue that rovers are a better club than theirs. Once I made it clear I didn’t mean team or success I meant club I never once came across anyone who said anything to convince me otherwise. Fast forward to the present day I barely like to admit who I support to people I do not know.

Is this something to shout about? I dunno tbh.

It’s not about the start it’s the finish. Going off what I’ve read on here the dingles, nob end and noblot are looking at shifting 15k ish or have already done so. That's in the same or lower divisions, similar demographics, some larger and smaller populations, etc. Frankly less than any of those is a bad place to be in let alone halving their nos.

I find it very strange the club are bragging about selling 2k season tickets when we were one of the last professional clubs to put them on sale and the die hards will have been chomping at the bit.

When it comes to any rovers “announcement” I always try and think what is swags agenda. All I can think is he knows the grand total will be pathetic and is trying to create a false narrative that they’re flying off the shelves and you’d better get one. Or as I suspect he’s got a meeting with his overlords and he’ll say look at what I’ve done 2k season ticket sales in one weekend.

Blackburn Rovers attendance last season on average was 12 - 14 thousand,  a majority of those paid at the gate.

    That can’t be right surely.

I must admit I dont know any figures. But if the average home attendance was 12-14k and I’m guessing the average away attendance was 2k. That’s between 10-12k home fans average. How many season tickets did we sell last season? 8-10k 🤷‍♂️. If any of those figures are vaguely right that’s almost all of the fans attending having season tickets.

In which case it’s vitally important to get season ticket sales right.

  5. Nothing to do with season tickets but have rovers arranged any pre season games yet? If I can help it I generally avoid the main rovers propaganda website and couldn’t see anything on here.

Suppose it’ll be too much to hope for a good, exiting or different side along the way. I assume it’ll be the usual dredging of lower league Lancastrian clubs, including the standard nonsense 2 60 minute games vs Stanley and the token tour of Austria.

With Noblot failing to get promoted the smart money will be on playing them. One million percent Stanley. Barrow also a usual favourite. Wigan and Blackpool also no doubt in the running.

  6. I’m sure he’s been totally shafted by the club. He will not have signed up to the “Brentford model” with the caveat of no money to spend and selling anyone able to ascend beyond mediocre or simply let them walk out of the door. A project doomed to fail but until these people speak out against the club I’ll view them as complicit in its demise.

  7. Surely the dof idea dies with the egg rather than replacing him. Never thought it had a chance of working at Rovers. That was even before factor in the buffoons running the show. If persist with it, it’ll be some other no mark from an obscure academy or total crank.

  8. All con men have that quality swag in abundance. The eggs best work has probably been the contract renewals but too many basic mistakes on his watch. Swag simply wasn’t capable of leading renewals, what does a salary of £350k buy you these days, which is why four lads of value left for gratis.

  9. It’s probably deserved. He talks a good game but if you look at all the windows under his tenure they’ve been a bloody shambles (whether his fault or not). He’s head of that department so must carry the can. I know the Venkys are the main problem closely followed by swag but while the underlings all remain silent shit flows downhill. Another nda incoming.

  10. When needed 3 Kent wickets at 12:30 didn’t expect to be booing Lancs off by 5pm

We are genuinely awful, but at least we can host t’pau’s comeback show for the many thousand that would attend or whoever they’ve booked.

  11. My first day at ot for the new cricket season. Can’t face watching rovers rely on other teams to avoid relegation.

I’m wondering what Lancs have done or going to do to irritate me. Usual favourites dictating specifically where 2k need to sit in a 20k seater, shutting all the entrances and exits, having one bar open at the opposite end of the ground to where they are trying to force people to sit, no toilets, Manchester originals propaganda everywhere. Then there’s whatever shite the players serve up and the usual point blank refusal to play in so much as light drizzle.

It's worth watching to see the growing anger at Pears time wasting but from 4.10 it's classic and just hear the Rovers Roar! 😁

That was worth a watch to see how pears lived rent free in the slime lickers heads. Although the biggest surprise is I didn’t know those yarkshire knuckle draggers could count so high.

Although one did go from 23 to 40 and fairly swiftly to 55 and 60. To be fair in the 20s these are pretty big numbers for the average Yorkshiremen. He definitely earned his gold star A for effort.

That being said I’ll add the caveat keepers wasting time does normally annoy me. I think they have 8 seconds to hold the ball but it really isn’t uncommon to see them hold it for 15-20 seconds and I’ve never seen it ever punished.

  13. Also why on earth are we playing with a kookaburra ball. Why can’t we just be proud of our own game. There’s surely a happy medium between medium pace dollopers taking 50 wickets a year and this shite they’re serving up where it’s impossibly to take a wicket and a complete snorefest. Death by Strauss.

  14. Warwickshire 443-1 against a good Durham bowling attack. The ECB are further ruining the game insisting on these “good” pitches. On the one hand they insist on the hundred to make the game fast, sexy and entertaining. On the other hand they’re feeding the narrative of cricket being dull by creating pitches where every match is a draw

    and that’s in April conditions.

I hope cricket Australia say it does count. Serves Lancs right. It was braindead selecting him when had already lost a full day before naming the xi and likely 2 other days. Actions have consequences a lesson Lancs don’t seem able or willing to learn in a lot of areas.

  16. Possible Essex might force a result, but all other games heading for draws. Derbyshire and Durham abandoned without a ball being bowled.

We play at new road on the 29th of September. I’ll wager that’ll be a weather related draw as well. There’s a reason cricket is supposed to be a summer sport not a spring/autumn sport.

It’s one thing to try and promote the 16.4 but in their relentless crusade to avoid it being a total flop they’ve totally abandoned the 50 overs competition, fucked over the county championship, undermined the t20 and don’t play international or any form of proper cricket in the peak summer months.

    The ECB need stringing up.

  17. You couldn’t make that tripe up. They’re nothing more than lower midtable premier league vultures circling round championship clubs in dire straits. (I appreciate the boot was once on the other foot for rovers). Wharton is definitely not a better footballer now than he was 3 months ago yet he’s now played for the u21s vs Luxembourg I think it was. He would not have played if was still here.
