Another shambles from Lancs. 117 years since lost successive County Championship matches by an innings. As a rovers and Lancs fan there’s only one sentiment Venky out Benky out. 

I’m having a bit of fun at shawbridge watching Clitheroe. Every time I see a Burnley crest I say I’ve no skin in the game but you men got lucky didn’t you. Blackburn (no one who supports rovers says Blackburn) scored 2 proper goals and got a man sent off for nothing. To be fair all of them said yeah got away with one. Really you battered us due to the uneven sides of 11 vs 13. Say so. Aaargh.

In a way it’s pathetic being happy at a draw with thst lot but another thanks to the Venkys legacy.

Also as a side note in Clitheroe I genuinely didn’t see one Burnley shirt in town from the late 80s to 2010 ish. Now the cockroaches have definitely scurried their way into the light. It’s the new builds I’m sure but defo lowers the tone. 

The ref has lost total control of this. And he’s created this scenario through being a shit house. Playing not 12 but 13 if include the linesman.

I was starting to think they’d misplaced the paperwork etc. Considering they’ve no credit in the bank when it comes to transfers I would like to think they’d just announce singings rather than wait for a daft video when clearly it was done and dusted hrs ago.

I’d be very skeptical over putting him on massive wages. I appreciate literally everyone rovers sign these days will have a huge question mark over them. Are they untested at this standard, are they too old/too young, are they injury prone, etc, etc.

My concern is what’s this lads motivation. Why on earth would anyone leave rangers to play at a basket case championship club more likely to go down than go up. Is he a difficult character and they want rid. What’s wrong with him.

I watch a bit of rangers and Celtic as they’re always on the bloody tele. I can actually remember this lad probably the first one in about a decade I’ve not had to google but from what I can recall I wouldn’t break the bank 

He spectacularly failed spectacularly with a once in a generation group of English players. Not to get the likes of G Nev, Rio, Terry, Sol, Ashley Cole, Beckham, Gerrard, Scholes, fat frank, Owen, Rooney past a quarter final was a pathetic effort. Almost unforgivable.

He did well in Italy bu his biggest legacy in this country is that of failure. Seemed like a decent chap though (not being a man of his word and rampant affairs aside). 

Decent test in the end. They made a game of it which looked highly unlikely. A very poorly attended match though but it’s such a dreadful venue in a lot of ways.

At £75 on day 3 in a scaffold stand then £90 under the hotel I don’t think the pricing was anywhere near what it should have been for a match vs Ceylon. Plus that horrible grey soviet style hotel was about 2/3rds empty and the red shed hotel about half empty. So presumably priced those all wrong as well.

Christ knows what they have up their sleeves when pricing up India and when next get an ashes match.

For once in my life I’ve beaten the rail industry and also for once a northern rail employee has done me a solid. Off to the cricket today and in Clitheroe station the conductor said there’s a tree down at Blackburn. His words were “I’ll bet you and I would probably be able to shift it in 10 mins but they’ll turn it in to a palaver.” So I naffed off back home and drove to the hotel instead.

Just checked the app and the train is still at Blackburn. 😬 Also as a warning to anyone thinking of going from Bburn on the train - don’t.

He’s another one like swag and all the others before him that are only given under arm questions. The last thing I watched him on you’d think the guy asking the questions was president of his fan club.

The local media aren’t fit for purpose so not sure who’s going to be asking the questions but he needs to asked about him holding the club to ransom as a player. Particularly, as he might now have to deal with that very scenario as a suit 

I’d have given pears a squad number of 30 odd. Even if don’t bring a replacement in leaves him in no doubt he’s not good enough. 

Another spanking for Lancs in the 50 overs. I genuinely can’t think of an occasion in my lifetime where Lancashire have been totally dominated in 6 consecutive white ball games (even red ball). Not just losing but never ahead or even doing ok at any point in any game.

I appreciate the 100/the ECB have consigned it to a reserve xi tournament but still. 

I very much doubt the new lot are bringing that much more money in. Curious decision. Particularly where we could make decent bunce by phoning around as the main shirt sponsor and they’ve plumped for a local firm of solicitors.

But he wasn’t ‘released’ 

So technically he was still released by Wigan. Whether Wigan wanted to keep him or not. I’m sure he’s the pele of div 3 but the fact remains he was still on loan in Scotland all last season. Who knows what’s gone on who really cares but going back to my original point if he’s the standard of player we’re looking at we’re fucked.
