But JDT's selections and (total lack of) defensive coaching is contributing massively to this week after week of pain. He can't be immune from criticism for the repeated awful calls in selection and tactics. If he can't improve the defence then whats the point of us bothering turning up?

Because for every Adam Wharton there’s about 10 who are dog shit who they initially rate. I hope he goes on to be the finest player rovers have ever seen but statistically at least the odds are against him.

I’ll wager one of two things will happen. Either he turns out to be shit and folk will look back and wonder who the hell he was or if he’s the real deal we’ll let him walk away for gratis to another club. That’s just how we roll.

I see rovers bought on a 15 year old. Youngest ever player. I suspect it’s more to do with the crèche mentality than being good enough but still he’s in the history books

I can remember the days when Blackburn rovers was run for the benefit of Blackburn rovers and its fans. Those were the days.

Now what are we a club house for east Lancashire based Liverpool fans and a glorified academy for the benefit of mid table premier league sides.

There was a point in history I used to talk about rovers to fans of Man Utd/Liverpool/Arsenal and I could proudly say rovers are a better club than your club, whoever they supported. Of course they’d initially sneer at that confusing having a better team with being a better club but there was no doubt we were the best club around. Those days have well and truly gone and I’d be hard pushed to find a worse club to support. 

6 defeats from 8 including drawing at home vs the bottom of the league side who haven’t won away since Adam was a lad. A run going back to early December Then going 1-0 down to Cambridge reserves. Dam these knee jerk reactions to a 6th minute goal.
